I never comment but this video style is fantastic. Straight to the point with all of the relevant details. The game looks super interesting so thank you! Please keep it up!
Thank you so much for the nice comment! This is exactly the goal when making these videos! I want to pack in as much info as possible without wasting any time and and like you said, being straight to the point. I'm glad people enjoy it so much!
Thanks for the kind words and for subscribing! Having videos under 10 minutes is the space I want to be in for sure. I never want these videos to feel like I've wasted anyone's time so I try to keep it as short as possible while still packing it with information. I'm happy to see people are enjoying this condensed style.

Hey thanks, I appreciate it! The mic I use is a Samson Q2u. Pretty affordable mic and I just have it plugged right in to my PC through USB. I don't think it's recommended enough as an awesome budget friendly/starter mic for TH-cam or streaming. I'm glad you enjoyed the review too! Reviews are some of my favorite videos to make on this channel.
Thanks! It's a goal of mine to keep things as short as I can while still keeping it informative. If you pick it up let me know your thoughts on it once you've played it for a bit.
This game looks cool. I'm curious, right at the beginning, you mention "the kingdom series." Are you talking about Kingdom Rush? I'm not sure because the footage during that part of the video seems to be from some other game.
The Kingdom series is a cool pixel art tower defense/building/survival series of games. I'll link a couple for you. New Lands is single-player and Two Crowns can be played in co-op including online. Kingdom: New Lands - store.steampowered.com/app/496300/Kingdom_New_Lands/ Kingdom: Two Crowns - store.steampowered.com/app/701160/Kingdom_Two_Crowns/ There's a new one coming out later this year as well. Both in addition to Kingdom: Classic are on consoles too.
Jacob, this games looks and sounds totally delicious to me! Thanks for the awesome review amigo.👍 Just checked on discord and it appears they intend to do a Switch port next providing this release goes well as intended! I can't honestly wait!! 😍👍
Each run has a nice conclusion if you make it to the end but the game is more about the progression and unlocking other features, gadget add-ons, and more. You can unlock the ability to have larger and more random maps, and there's even a second character which is not available yet but is coming. I could see more being added as well but I don't have any info on that.
I really hope so! I don't know if that's something they're looking to do but I do know the publisher has published previous games on mobile before (townscaper, bad north, dandara, kathy rain) so that's a good sign! This game would fit so well on mobile.
With the propellant that can help and adjusting difficulty and map type/size can help with that as well. Using the propellant and upgrading the drill early helps with feeling like you're progressing more during digging sections. Battles get more intense as the run goes on and during prestige mode some of those waves can get pretty wild. You can also unlock the ability to lengthen digging time as a modifier which would give you more exploration time.
@@crownedjoker8409 Thank you! I love responding to comments! I appreciate people like you taking the time to leave comments - it helps me feel a sense of community and lets me know if what I'm doing is on the right track or not. It definitely helps this whole "content creation" thing feel less empty which is really nice.
lmao I WISH I got paid to make any of these videos. I don't even monetize my own videos myself. I've never made a single cent off of this channel. I do it because I love indie games. Nice try though lol.

I think the game in the video is either Kingdom: Classic or Kingdom: New Lands.
I was referring to Kingdom: Classic and New Lands specifically. Cool games with great pixel art and the same publisher as Dome Keeper.
@@YourFriendJacob Ah, ok. I'll check them out. Thanks.
@@michaelmarchese5865 No problem, if you like them there will be a new one in the series to check out some time late this year.
how is the replayability? i keep hearing people say it doesnt have much replay value which worries me.
Thats a sub. Great vid
Thanks for the sub, I appreciate it! I'm glad you enjoyed the video too!
I can verify - it is a good time. Nice video! :)
Thanks! It really is a good time. Great channel you have there as well! :)
This game looks amazing! The demo was very addicting and can’t wait for more!
The demo absolutely sold me on the game and I love what has been added since then. It's an amazing game for sure! Thanks for checking out the video!
What was the kingdom series? I can't seem to find it but I would love to know.

This game would fit so well on the Switch! Given the great launch and the publisher, I'm pretty sure it will happen. I certainly hope so!
Is this game have an ending? Also i love this game at the first sight, the concept and the pixel art really got me.

It's a fun game. The real challenge is in the final difficulty mde.
You're absolutely right lol that's where it really gets spicy!
Do we know if they gonna release it on mobile ?

Idk. I played it and felt I was always fighting and didn’t have time to dig/explore. The battles are pretty dull. Exploration is pretty simple.

@@YourFriendJacob Ah ok. Maybe I’ll give it another shot. Thanks!
is it worth it for the price?
It is but if you're looking at picking it up, the Steam Winter sale is on December 22nd and it'll likely be on sale then.
@@YourFriendJacob thank you so much

Great video. Not sure about calling it tower defense though.
It has that element in there with the dome defending. It's a more simplistic approach to it but it's there. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
sadly it doesnt support coop
Co-op would be awesome! Maybe that could be a thing for a future update or maybe Dome Keeper 2 if the developers decide to make another one.
