The brown color is beautiful on the Mercedes.
After getting out of my modern car with its bright screens, and stepping into my 205 GTi with its subtle orange/yellow dashboard lighting, you realize that interior lighting has got too far; sitting behind the wheel being lit-up like Eiffel tower at night. I hope they have a convenient option to disable it because it's a very classy looking car.

I completely agree. But this E class in particular represents lazy engineering for me based on the history of the E class. They just threw all the money and technology at the car and said they better like it.
I think Bentley nailed it with that swanky front display that flips around to show only the old-school analog stuff.
@@flosenmosen Porche particularly the 992 911 has a good mixture between both tech and classic, while this E class just seems like an entire electric car

Do I need my headlights to do a dance and spell out mercedes, do I need to talk to my car.... Well only because they took away all the easily replaceable buttons.
Sometimes i find myself turning off the screen in my car while driving at night. Are those new cars like teslas and mercs and all, which have big screens and all able to do that?

It a nice upgrade, except for that boring color and those wheels are off an OLD AUDI. WTF were they thinking? If I buy an AMG, I don't want to get that. (The only thing worse is an AMG with a 4 CYLINDER ENGINE!!!!) Are you f'n kidding me? I also don't want a webcam in my car. The rest is welcomed [So, I buy an expensive AMG with all that weight and technology added, and they make it fuel efficient but, not really with that power and stress to the engine.] -Give me this vehicle without that engine, color or wheels I notice you switch to an "American" accent when you say, "Hey Mercedes"..We won't talk about the companies history

Out of all the new-gen mercedes models, this has the nicest interior design and quality (about the same as the S-class). I hate the piano black surrounds on the seat controls and capacitive touch. Mercedes should ditch these components for all its models because its cheap, non-ergonomic and has no place in a mercedes. I would also never get the superscreen. There is literally no value in having the second screen which is completely redundant because of the central display and passengers' phones and tablets which have more functionality and quality. The selfie camera is also a dumb gimmick and I would never want it because auto manufacturers are the biggest sellers of consumer data. Not to mention that you lose out on the décor. With the superscreen, the technology becomes the interior design. With the trim, it's still not as pretty as the architecture in the w213 generation, but at least is has some character. Finally, the version of the Burmester in the C-class and CLE is absolute garbage. The variant in the W213 is good but it is not even close to the "high end Burmester" upgrade. Since they ditched this option, I hope the standard Burmester is good.
EVs are the future no doubt, quiet, clean and high tech, I am for it but somehow it lacked the excitement of the vroom vroom sound.😬
Build quality is terrible.All the stupid gimmicks yet they cannot make rear lights that mist up after rain.
They must pay him a bank of money to get this excited over these garbage vehicles.

While the tech is cool, it's largely unnecessary. The exterior is terrible though. It looks like an old Ford.
