Its because the original s2 is a powerhouse. the s2 plus is a cover and a cheapy copy. they say that if you want an s2 try to get the original one. and if you do you're lucky. the gpu and ram is better in the original one. dont know for sure with the cpu though
The galaxy was quicker as it didn’t have any nice animations with its UI. It looked ancient and jittery compared to that 4S, that even back then kept that silky smooth iphone UI. And back then I was a massive Android fan boy. But every time I went on my dads 4S I couldn’t help but deep down admit the camera took better photos and the UI was silky smooth and crash free.
Samsung cant even make a good launcher or music player or video player atleast iphone stock apps is way better i cant even come back to samsung cause how suck the music player is compared to iphone it doesnt even have cover art

You do realize that the connection bar actually has no meaning whatsoever. It's pretty much a myth, or a marketing thingy. Four bars doesn't necessarily mean that your connection is good for example. And it certainly isn't the same on every mobile phone. The S2 may have a better connectivity with one bar than the iPhone has with 3 bars for all we know. And it was only in the beginning that the "connectivity was better" as you stated it.
