  • Brantome Dordogne France - A beautiful town on the edge of the Dordogne River | France Tour ðŸ‡Ŧ🇷
    Brantome
Brantome en Perigord is a commune in the Dordogne department of southwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by the merger of the former communes of Brantome and Saint-Julien-de-Bourdeilles. Brantome is an attractive town near the northern edge of the Dordogne department and has a nice mix of medieval and Renaissance architecture to admire. The town is classed as one of France's 'les Plux Beaux Detours', the most beautiful detours.
In this video, I’ll introduce you to the absolutely gorgeous postcard town of Brantome on the Dronne River in the Dordogne region of southwestern France. Brantome is a charming village on the Dordogne's northern edges with a good blend of medieval and Renaissance architecture to enjoy.

France is definitely on my bucket list. Of course a bit of time in Paris but I'm not a huge city person. But I haven't researched anything. I think I should just join one of your trips and skip the research!! You find places I never would. I just need a vineyard quota met. ;)

Yes, you absolutely should, Heather. Lot's of people add pre- and post-trip days to these trips so that they get a good mix of private time and the many benefits of small group travel.

@@ContinentalDrifter What a great idea! I'd love a pre-trip stay to try and get a few phrases for chatting with all the locals you connect folks with!

North east of Dordogne is the best. Sarlat is good but too much tourist and the nature is less beautiful

This town is so stunning! I've never been to that part of France. It's kind of crazy, because I must have visited france at least 20 times... But never these regions. Onto the barrel list!!

Indeed, there are so many distinct regions in France it's hard to see them all, even after multiple trips.

Merci !
