We just made your mom’s meatloaf recipe tonight. I added the green peppers and holy moly!!! It was AMAZING! That sauce is incredible. The red pepper flakes give it just a tiny kick of heat and the Worcestershire sauce is subtle but definitely enhances the flavor. Thank you for sharing this and I appreciate all of the time you give each video.
I use those ingredients but I also add apple cider vinegar with the sauce, it give it a tang my daughter loves. Can’t wait to see your parent and the family for the holidays. Excited for Friend giving as well. Hello to Mr Tootles!
Our topping for meatloaf is ketchup, brown sugar, & mustard!!! We just wing it to taste these days lol… but I’ll definitely have to try it with the worstershire sauce instead of mustard!!! Will definitely try the meatloaf recipe!!!
Take pork loin chops and frozen apple juice, brown chops with salt/pepper and garlic powder. When browned add frozen apple juice simmer in last few minutes turn up and reduce the apple juice serve with rice and veggies use the reduced apple juice as a sauce for rice and chops. Its so good.
It's so much easier when you mix all the meatloaf add-ins in a separate bowl first, and then pour it over the meat and mix in gently. More even incorporation and far easier.
Dinner last night was italian potato and egg frittata with roasted Italian chicken sausage on the side. Tonight sheppards pie with tossed side salad. When making my meatloaf I grate my onion and it give good flavor but no chunks for fussy eaters.❤
LOL, I hurt my knees in my sleep somehow. I'm in physical therapy. I also hurt my right foot when I fell. And my neck droops. And my eyes don't focus (strabismus). So obviously I no longer drive. We won tonight 38/7. LOL, it's 11: 30 and I'm doing dishes. I'm not ADHD, but I am a night owl. I don't have that many to do. They're done. Church is downstairs in the community room, it's an outreach program. So, I can still get 8 hours of sleep, it's at 11: 15. I feel good about my dishes, I can make breakfast tomorrow. I love fried egg and cheese with bacon (I use fully cooked bacon), on a toasted English muffin. I have to take one out of the freezer, an English muffin. :) Thank you so much!!! My mom never taught me home economics. I learned from a friend how to read a recipe.

HELLO MA'AM! Mama is taking notes on this video! The clip you shared of your oldest is SO my youngest nephew!!! Lord - he makes us laugh when his mother (my sister) makes him mix up stuff in their kitchen. The sound effects coming out of that almost 18-year-old boy (December 2024 and NOT we are NOT ready!) are hysterical!! But with MY meatloaf, I always mix a little ketchup with the meat, adding more on top. And I do mine in my Pampered Chef brownie pan (I have 2 - 1 for meats, and 1 for sweet). It's fantastic for keeping the meat moist and tender. Anyway, loved this one! Also, for my chicken curry, I add crushed red pepper flakes, Kosher salt, and freshly cracked black pepper - it tastes better cracked from a pepper grinder, IMHO, and I go a little bit heavy on the salt.

I wanted to give you an idea for using the leftover meatloaf. Slice it for a sandwich. Take the bread and add mozzarella or pepperjack cheese and add another slice of bread to make a sandwich. Butter both sides like you do when you make a cheese toastie. Then dip in marinara sauce. SO GOOD!
I'm way past the school days, but I'm falling meal planning. I usually pull out meat for 3 days meals to fridge thaw and if plans change their good in the fridge for a couple of days forward to that. Definitely fall menu, soups, stew, chilli, spaghetti, oven roasted beef, chicken, pork and don't get me started on the bake good baking cookies, cakes, brownies, breads mmmm mmm mm 😋

I signed up for 5 Dinners in 1 hour. It works great. I prep five to six meals on Saturday and then I just pull it out each night. Minimum clean up and I don’t have to wonder, what’s for dinner.
When my ex and I were first married we were having the missionaries over for dinner because we had to sign up. So, I was making meatloaf. I wasn't sure how long to cook it, it was in the oven for over an hour, and the poor missionaries were probably getting hungry. I wish we had just ordered pizza, and I didn't realize you could do that. Or I should have made something simpler, like Denti Moore beef stew. My mom always made that and added a piece of toast to the bottom to stretch it more.

Did u know u can cook ur corn on the cob in ur IP. Just srand the halved cobs on the trivet add a cup of milk and 2 tbsps of butter and pressure cook for 5 minutes and quick release. The corn turns out so good. I get compliments on how great my corn on the cobs.
My meal planning has been solely dependent on if my pregnancy let's me get out of bed, so I've been doubling recipes and using my freezer for meals and meal kits. I've allowed myself some grace when I just let my husband get takeout.
i totally get your sons thought on touching raw meat. i use disposable gloves anytime i touch any raw meat. not that im a freak about cleaning , i just dont wanna have that on my hands feels gross and i dont want to have to wash my hands forever after trying to get them clean from the raw meat. it also eliminates touching the pan with raw meat on my hands when putting it in the oven. (ive seen this happen on so many you tube videos ) ive never tried measuring out spices for meatloaf . i just use onions,egg,crackers,plain tomato sauce then top with ketchup. ive never had it any other way. might have to try adding a few spices next time. thanks for the idea!!!!

Ms. Kimmy, I'd like you to know my back story. I tried to make being LDS and civilly divorced work. But it didn't. But I officially resigned. I consider myself Christian now. I could be the go-between for you and Tawra. Because I know what it's like to be both Christian and LDS (Mormon). I'm in a women's ministry, I went to the Zoom tonight. The Buckeye game is also on tonight. And Ms. Kimmy, I have a mental illness and wish I had a husband more like yours who understands and gave you a chance. I want to go to church tomorrow too.
I am 62 and still can't touch raw meat. I have food service gloves to use for mixing meatloaf etc. P.S. i would have had to have help getting off that floor.
Question why do you use casserole dish for your meatloaf you should have used broiler pan that way all that grease falls away from your food instead of baking in the grease much better try it
Me and your boy both HATE touching raw meat! Its so gross. Nearly drives me to vegetarianism, if I didn't have these carnivore guys living with me I probably would just do that.

I use my whisk hand mixer attachment by itself also. It's my favorite whisk to use

Try mustard (but the german one) in your meatloaf 😄 and saute the onions first. It's so good.

Wait did you just pull whole onions from the freezer?
If you cant put your hands in and mix all that ground beef up then use a fork to mix it. That works also.
