We had a blizzard and we’re in the house safe but stuck. In case we lost power we purchased food that can be made on the stove too. So Christmas dinner was hamburger subs. It’s silly but I’m grateful we had heat and food and family was all safe. But after this snow Is over my family will all get together and have a big party. Enjoy the day.

as soon as she mentioned it I told my daughter that I want it for Easter/Mother's Day/or my Birthday, whichever is closest to it's release date!! LOL Hope it's in time for next Thanksgiving or Christmas!
My husband is learning the ways of frugal shopping. :) He came home last week and said, "I saw butter is $2.50 a pound at IGA." That's the expensive small-town store. He was running out for me so I told him to get all he can if it is truly that price. He came back with 6 lbs. He gets it, he really gets it. :)

A pumpkin pie hack I do is put all of the ingredients into a juice pitcher then use an immersion blender to mix. I can then set my pie crusts on the oven rack and use the pitcher to pour it into the crust. No more trying to carry them over to the oven and potentially spilling.

This is the first time in three years, we were all together for Christmas.
There were 30 of us. We had our traditional Christmas dinner, with turkey, stuffing and extra stuffing, cranberry sauce, ham mashed potato, carrots & parsnips mash, turnip, green beans, Italian peppers (fresh bread crumbs, 3 cheeses -romano, parmesan and mozzarella cubed and tomatoes.
Dessert is fresh fruit and lots of Christmas baking. Thankfully, Grammie, the five wives and daughters contributed to the food and all the men and teen boys cleaned up and did the dishes. It was so wonderful!
I finally made Italian Christmas cookies this year 🙌 absolutely delicious. My family liked them too 🙏 Happy New Year from the UK 🎉🎉
This year for Thanksgiving my dad told me he wanted to try a new flavor in the green bean casserole. So I used the Campbell's cream of mushroom with roasted garlic and trust me i am never going back to the plain cream of mushroom for my green bean casserole. It's so delicious

I love that you put ur "boiled" eggs in an ice bath..I do that too and I also will remove my potatoes from the boiling water (while pouring the water from the potatoes into a bowl to cool and use as thickener for other meals) then pour ice cold water over them and into the same bowl with the water they were boiled in to stop them from cooking and cool them for potato salad

The accent thing is funny. My best friend grew up in Tennessee. She went to college in Idaho and Kansas and lives in Utah now. She doesn’t seem to have a southern accent like some of her family. However, her husband says when she’s really mad the Tennessee comes out.
Everything looked lovely. I love how well organised you were. Cooking all that different food would totally stress me out, especially the serving up part.
I wouldn’t be able to eat with anyone, as I’m never hungry.
In the UK it is pronounced Worcester-sheer, tho most people just say Worcester sauce - much easier.
Dec 26th is Boxing Day here, a day for leftovers. Especially with Branston pickle.

I have made your recipe for cranberry salsa a few times. It’s fantastic and everyone loved it. Everyone needs to make it but make sure you buy the cranberries before the holidays or you’ll have a hard time finding them.

I think your accent comes out when you say “oh my gosh” otherwise I never would’ve thought you used to have an accent! All the food looks amazing. We didn’t have a traditional Christmas this year because my husband and I and our little girl were sick. Just a chill day at home. 😊

Next time instead of using water use a dessert wine, I use homemade elderberry wine and it makes a huge difference (in cranberries)

lots of people using semaglutide drugs off label for successful weight loss but take heat about it because it's for type 2 diabetes. I see nothing wrong with using it if your dr. prescribed. My daughter has lost 27 ibs since October when nothing has seemed to work for her. She doesn't share because people are so judgemental
I’m sorry if you already did a video on this but I would love a video tutorial on how to keep up with what’s in your freezer. I have so many “freezer burnt” items that I had to trash and it made me so sad to be wasteful.
It's all about shopping your shelves first. Menu plan from your freezer then check out the weekly sales in your area. This will help you rotate through your freezer.
Also go to a farm store (Rural king, TSC...) and get a “red light” for your chickens in the winter, keep it on all the time in one area and they will lay in winter.
