We get our chickens from a friend that raises them super naturally each year and they are HUGE! So I always spatchcock them so they cook faster and more evenly. No dry white meat that way! So yummy!
We’re going to get some whole, pasture raised chicken from my husband’s coworker! My first Christmas dinner for my little family now that we have a baby boy
I completely agree with Mr Toodles! We had this exact same discussion around the dinner table the other day 😂 The consensus, stop making live action movies of classics and stop at the fist movie, unless it's a book series (how many Fast and Furious movies do we really need?)
I looked up a Thanksgiving turkey recipe, and I saw a lady made a butter mixture with soften butter and seasonings and rosemary. Then she separated the skin very lightly and took a big scoop of mixture in her hand and went in between the skin and the meat and rubbed it like a lotion. Lol I tried it and it was so stinking juicy and delicious. OMG.
We make baked waldorf stew, 2lbs cubed beef, 1 can cream of chicken(2 if you want more gravey) 1-2 envelopes dry onion soup, 1-2 cups cooking sherry if you want more gravey do 2, 1-2 lbs fresh mushrooms cut in half. Mix all but mushrooms in a covered casserole dish, bake at 325° 1hr 15 min, add mushrooms, uncover cook another 30 min serve over mashed potatoes or noodles with a veggie side. This is a family favorite. Hope you try it.
These look lovely. My favourite was the jacket potato bar. Brill idea. It was lovely seeing your family. Happy Belated 50th Wedding Anniversary to your Mum & Dad. x 🎉❤️ I love your apron. Very Christmassy.
Hey, these recipes are amazing! I might have to refer back to these videos if I ever want to make any of these with my family or for myself. I can't wait to see more videos every week!!! ❤❤❤
🤗Happy anniversary to your parents! I love seen you guys cooking, that is why I'm a bit late seeing and commenting. I take it all in. Everything, and I mean everything looked so yummy. I like the same veggies with the baked chicken, but sometimes I include: brussels sprouts, broccoli (I like my veggies very tender) and sweet potatoes.
PUH-KHON!!! NOT pee-can! Now, I rinse my chicken (raised that way) and trim it up really well. A friend taught me to score my meat (steaks, chicken, turkey, pork, burgers, etc., to ensure they cook all the way through. Now I can't not do it! Chicken should come to 165 internally to be fully cooked. Then I make a dredging station with my seasoned AP flour, Kosher salt, freshly cracked black pepper (it tastes better this way, IMHO), and my favorite seasoning. I am all about Italian seasoning and either Cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes. I am a South Louisiana girl. so I like a little spice! Crush up your dried herbs a bit in your hands first to release the flavor and oils in them. But I blend all of my spices with my flour and then dredge my chicken. But this looks so good!
We have been using boullion cubes and hot water to make broth for dishes. Got some of the soup starter stuff which is the same thing and use it too in a beef dish. That comes in ham flavor, beef and chicken.
OK, I know this is my third comment lol but I love your video so much. At minute 14:36, is that a Dutch oven? I have always wanted one and what all can you do with them ? Their own sale right now at Walmart for $44.

I’m with you with the sourdough bread, too much trouble and quite frankly I’m a bit tired of hearing about allllll the recipes made with it. But, I love the flavour; unfortunately I live in Quebec and we don’t have Wild Grain
Hello Kimberly thank you so much for sharing your vlog much appreciated by us all. I would like you to please try this Marrochino cherry cheesecake It's Delicious Do not drain the juice of the cherries save this for a sauce to drizzle over the cheesecake when serving or on the side of the plate
I can't make good roast chicken in the oven. It never tastes good to me. I decided to try roasting one in the Traeger. I swear, it was so good I almost ate the whole thing!
How does a nice Mormon girl have a lagger in her house? Btw, it’s pronounced “logger”. You’d know that if you were raised Catholic. 😉 These are the kind of jokes that fly around our house all day. My husband was raised LDS and I was raised Catholic 😂
Kimmie, you are so kind, I want you to know how much I appriciate all you do! Thank you for all these wonderful meal ideas!😋
Thank you so much!

Live action remakes are definitely a cop-out. Tell your hubby I agree with him 10000%
Loved this video. Can you take us to Sam’s or Costco to do like a Christmas decor food gift set review.? I absolutely love those videos so much.
Love the video ❤❤❤

I agree with Derick. Hollywood has no new ideas either 😢 No imagination 😮
Hey Kimmie where is he stationed at ?? Thank u for his service stay safe God bless...my son is also in the army. ...
I’m with you with the sourdough bread, too much trouble and quite frankly I’m a bit tired of hearing about allllll the recipes made with it. But, I love the flavour; unfortunately I live in Quebec and we don’t have Wild Grain
I'm with Deric, Disney needs to stop with all the live action remakes. It ruins the originals.
I like the old flat cartoon style 😂
Stop the remakes!! Yes Yes Yes!! Mr. Toodles knows what's up!💜🌵
Hello Kimberly thank you so much for sharing your vlog much appreciated by us all.

please try this
Marrochino cherry
cheesecake
It's
Delicious
Do not drain the juice of the cherries save this for a sauce to drizzle over the cheesecake when serving or on the side of the plate
Yum!!!
I agree with Derrek. The urge for live-action films feels like a cash grab and so unoriginal. And I loved the potato bar! I must try it as well!
I can't make good roast chicken in the oven. It never tastes good to me. I decided to try roasting one in the Traeger. I swear, it was so good I almost ate the whole thing!
Oh we love to smoke up ours as well. We haven’t roasted one in the oven for a long time.
💜💜💜💜💜
Can you make the Marry Me Chicken all in a casserole?
Absolutely
Glad to see I am not the only one to cook barefoot.
❤❤

these are the kinds of things jesus was here to abolish. mindset of divisiveness.
@ You do understand it was a joke, right? Maybe you didn’t read it all the way through.
I grew up around Catholics. We were catholic until I was one. 😃 I knew it was logger but I always say things wrong 🤪
@ As long as you know I was just teasing you. I’m sure people pronounce it differently all over the country.
Oh I totally knew!
Disney has no imagination and uses past
