Wow, while we've only met through this video, I sensed as soon as you started talking that you have an incredibly moving and powerful story. I am so grateful for your courage to share your experience living with depression, Fonda. Thank goodness for Wes and Spanky, and all your allies -- and such a miracle that you were able to be there to meet your son at the bus stop. The double stigma of your family's resistance to acknowledging depression coupled with the pervasive shame/stigma of depression combined in your life to feel almost overwhelming -- but you proved it is possible to carry on and trust in your doctors. You really inspire the rest of us to work harder to erase the stigma around depression and your honest story is helping make that happen. I'm grateful to both of you as well as FFDA for your heartfelt message. Please take care on the road ahead and Godspeed to you all.

Fonda & Wes I want to thank you for being so transparent. I too am living in recovery, through my daughter. Mental illness is real and should not be dismissed. I feel ASSIST should be taught to family members as well as WRAP. Your aunt was most definitely a hero. The stigma of mental illness is real. Our community always want use to be strong regardless of what we deal with day to day but we get tired and need support from others that truly care about our wellness. Thanks for sharing your story. Living in recovery is not a burden it's a life saver. Peace and blessings.

So what are ASSIST and WRAP? I tried to look the acronyms up but couldn't find anything
