The way you speak, it is beyond obvious that you know a tremendous amount about every step of every process, beyond simple knowledge, but deep into the science of it all... which inspires extreme confidence when I'm watching this as a complete newbie to all of this and lets me know I can certainly come back to you for when I learn a great deal more and want to dive into more complex and complicated processes. Your approach to teaching with the attitude of "there is more than one way to skin a cat", and the "well you can do this, just expect that" is greatly appreciated and really helps in figuring out what I need to look for and what mistakes I might have made if I didn't quite do it the "correct" way. Excellent video
Great explanation. I have been brewing for over 20 years and have been asked to do classes at my local supplier. Your video has given me some great ideas. Thanks.
Josh, It's obvious that a lot of work has gone into the production of this very informative and most clearly presented tutorial. As a beginner, I found it to be an essential guide and has given me the confidence to attempt my first brew. Many thanks.
For this being published nearly a year ago, it really hasn't had enough viewing. It's fantastic overview and detail of stuff wrapped into one video. Thanks Josh!
josh...josh...josh........very informative video...I love how you explained some "science" about certain things...am a subscriber to this channel...thankfully....sir, I'm just blown away, of what I've learned!...I'm a long time brewer, but by far this is one the most informative video's that I have truly enjoyed...thank you for your time, doing this....much much appreciated!
Say if you buy a all grain kit with the grain milled (cracked) how long do you think it will stay fresh? This was a great video! Very explanatory! Ernie
Say you're bottling and you add the sugar solution first, then siphon the beer in. Is it ok to stir the bottling bucket right before bottling? Or will that oxidize the beer too much?

I agree - one of the best overall descriptions I've found.
THANK YOU! Even in 2020 Ive learned alot just in this video. It has refined what I have already learned. This needs at least a million views.

Well done vid! Thx... Cheers!
Thanks for the video. When you say "all grain", do you mean barley grain or malt grain?
Malt is barley grain that is allowed to germinate, then dried and toasted.
"You don't have to do much when you boil" well don't walk away during the hot break. I've had a few boil overs.
Plus LME or DME is expensive. I can make a beer for 25 bucks all grain. DME version would cost about 38.
Excellent video. The basics were to the point and not a lot of fluff.
"No beer should taste like peat" :o
Hold my.. (peat flavoured) beer
No god catastrify.
