THANK YOU for your post! I'm currently on a '21 ZX-14R, which I bought brand new. I love it, but I also love longer rides, and though it's WAY more comfortable than the other Sport and Super bikes out there, the ZX-14R is still kind of hard on my back on long rides. I'd love to get your input on your experience compared to your Busa; power, torque, comfort and other pro's and cons you've experienced, so far. Thanks!
1st time watcher. at one point in your ride you say, "I have no idea where I am"...And then just ignored the most important reason to own a Motorcycle...Anywhere Road is where and why we ride. We can get confused, But if its paved we ain't lost...Hell. there are 3 oceans, and the Canadian Border...How the fairtheewell are you gonna get lost.? Where you are is where its at! Live to ride, ride to live.
I have the 2020 silver and black GT bought it last summer and it just a beast so much torque its incredible and trust me i had a Kawasaki Concours for 4 years just before buying the Rocket and the Concours is a fast GT bike but does not compare at all with the torque and power of the Rocket i just love it. And no if you give it all the beans the front wheel wont come up but the back wheel will smoke a lot lol. ride safe man
Test rode the GT early October it's an amazing beast. It seems to hold the road handled very nice in curves and parking lot maneuvers were easy weight is @ 200 lbs. Less than my Harley. I have a problem I really want one.😅
Great review. Did you find the foot pegs hitting the road as the bike leans when turning? Some say the foot pegs are too low. I wonder if that would limit the bike from being slightly faster on turns?
how does this bike compare to the hayabusa when it comes to comfort of riding and reliability(meaning I won't have to take it to the shop every 3 months...haha) ?
Motorcycle Obsession, I had some questions for you below this comment; but I also wanted to ask you if you ever ridden the hayabusa and if you did, how did the busa feel compared to how the rocket 3 felt ?
Did a test ride and it was like riding a rigid frame with the hardness of the suspension and I weigh 110kg. Yes, it's adjustable but very basic. Any bike costing around 25 grand should have ES at least.
Did you upgrade? I’m in a state of choosing between a fat boy and the rocket right now. Totally opposite bikes, I love both of them but that hard choice of choosing one is tough. Triumph has 3.9% giving its slight edge
@@HeCoversMeyes upgraded to rocket 3 gt ,and added a quick shift and a werkes exhaust, best decision I made ,nimble and twice as powerful,I had stage 4 screaming eagle on my fat boy and still way less powerful than this rocket ,it is a monster ,it is a no brainer trust me ,do you want to ride a lounge chair or actually ride ?the standard exhaust is a joke though
@@petercapitanelis8420 thanks Peter what’s the range about 150 miles? I also saw dealers out of state priced under 19k. I’ve had two m109s in the past which seem similar in profile but nowhere near the power and the GT looks a lot more butt friendly than my Suzukis were 😆
@@HeCoversMe yeh petrol range not crash hot but found it similar to the fat boy ,and I give it plenty a lot more than I did the fat boy ,but also the werkes exhaust lowered the weight of the bike for me as the converter was 22 kilos ,sounds awesome now ,I had the bassani exhaust on the fat boy ,but the werkes exhaust pops on the gt ,the quick shift is nice ,still getting used to it as sometimes I miss with clutch between first and second and quick shift throws into neutral other than that all good ,there is a recall on the rear brake at moment but I haven’t had a drama ,it is an absolute complete bike ,and you can ride comfortably or hard riders choice ,turning is easy once you get used to it ,definitely appreciate the abs cornering ,the videos fonts do it justice ,I’m tall rider so I appreciate the gt stance and pedals mid forward,if you ride both you won’t buy a Harley other than you want people to see you on Harley, gets a lot of attention when parked ,I have the red chrome edition, easily use daily but I have baby twins lol so it’s a fun machine for me when I have time ,don’t know how to put pic up here sorry
@@petercapitanelis8420 thanks Pete. Very informative, you sold me…now if my dealer would just call me back. He keeps giving me the response “we’re working our best deal for you” then doesn’t call back with the deal. Not sure what that game is. Anyway thanks again Pete and ride safe!
I just bought this very bike last weekend. Coming off a busa, this bike does not disappoint. what an amazing machine. fit and finish is impeccable.

The front wheel will certainly come up given good traction and turning off the traction control. Easy peasy
I have the same bike as you, I love it
@@TheDickstorm Dark vader is saying welcome to the torque side

Some say that the rocket 3R is the upright version of the Hayabusa !!

I love the Rocket, the name of it seems to really suit its character.
It's for sure one of my favorites!
I have a Fatboy 2019,upgrading to the rocket gt,definitely upgrade in performance but not looks I think

The suspension is adjustable.
I was wondering about that!
Yes
Uuffff 💯
The suspension is hard because he was on sport mode
The suspension is adjusted manually. Sport mode just changes traction control, ABS, and throttle map.
Would you pick this or HD fatboy?
That’s the same thing I was wondering.
Nobody seems to answer that question haha. Why??
@@HeCoversMebecause everyone knows it’s a joke 😉🤭
So instat of showing the bike you taking us to country trip,bs thumb down.
It will do 60 plus in first gear.
