In Canada sub 249g no restrictions from transport Canada other then class F airspace and restricted notams but other then that no registration, or license needed. Also no height, VLOS, or flying over people or car restrictions.
I have question regarding flying internationally in different context. Let's say I have type certified drone from USA. and i want to take off in USA and land my drone in Bahamas for commercial purpose, (drone package delivery) in this case what should i follow?
I recently passed the 49 Recreational test so I can have the number to put on my under 249 gram drone. And have the documents to show if asked for. My question is I have purchased another sub 249 gram drone do I use the same number or do I need to list the new drone and if so how do I go about that? I live in the USA. California.
From the FAA's website: "All drones must be registered, except those that weigh 0.55 pounds or less (less than 250 grams) and are flown under the Exception for Limited Recreational Operations. I thought it’s about flying drone across the border aka Canada-US or vice versa.
I believe that flying across a border is strictly prohibited for security/safety concerns.
