Every country is different so it is tough to say. Personally, I wouldn't bring it if a drone is not allowed in a country, not worth the risk of paying a fine or going to prison.

Do you need to call the Consulate of the country you are going and ask. For example I heard that if you go to Morocco, you can bring in your drone, but they will confiscate it on your way out. What if you are making a youtube video in Spain, Barcelona, is the american part 107 valid abroad?

As I say in the video, it's best to carry the batteries on the plane. If you can, I would bring the drone as well so the airline doesn't destroy it.
