[Steam Next Fest 2024] Cygni: All Guns Blazing Demo

A demo for the upcoming STG published by Konami and hoo boy, do I have my gripes with this.
First of all, you are extremely fast and yet the game expects you to micro, kinda backwards logic, don't you think?
The Ground Weapon right stick is way too sensitive, even setting it to 27% it was still way too high, at least they let you use the D-Pad for movement and not just left stick.
You are expected to balance the shields and weapons if you have less of the other, but every energy point picked up replenishes your shield, so it only becomes a problem when you're dealing with a boss enemy or a section, that has no enemies that drop those.
The game is extremely unoptimized, even on my 3070 Ti it dipped below 30fps at points and I had effects set to High, not Ultra. Not to mention the minimum GPU it expects you to have is a bloody 2070 and even then, it will struggle. And they want to bring this to Switch, it will not run well at all or outright set the console ablaze.
Also, you see that fade after the cutscene? You re-do the entire stage if you die, so that was from the attempt when I cleared. The difficulty is very high for a medium difficulty.

Presentation wise it looks gorgeous, but gameplay wise it is very rough, not just because of controls and some stuff I wrote in the desc., but the effects also hide enemy attacks, which is a big nono in shooting games.
I also don't expect it to have much staying power in the STG community, and if there will be some people playing it, it will be Story Mode Easy or Normal, not Hard or Arcade Mode, because most of them hate trying to challenge themselves into doing 1CC runs.

a gorgeous shmup but in the same time repetitive and boring..everyone hits you, you take damage all the time,you dont know what you are shooting at but keep going..or im too old for this. the ship also is so tiny. an eye candy for sure but seems a little bit hollow
