Don't understand why people dunk on the "Yamato" plot point, take a look at Japan after-WW2 history and you would know why the antagonist willing to keep it buried at all cost.
It does make sense in hindsight but I remember playing the first time and feeling hella confused, cause up to that point everyone talked about the Secret of Onomichi like there was an ancient evil living underwater or something
i say don't skip any game on the series.... but after playing Infinite Wealth... now i hate Y3, just because they say Sayama date American cop but in truth she still faithful to Kiryu. DAMN YOU YAKUZA 3, Mine still the Goat tho
Just finish this game few days ago. To be honest, it’s my least favourite Yakuza game, I didn’t like the plot, I didn’t like new characters (except Joon-Gi Han and Someya), I didn’t like the final boss. And why the hell they remove Majima, Saejima and Daigo from the story and instead give us boring lameass Hirose Family P.S. I forgot absolute worst part of this game - HARUKA
