@peteshobbies5383 hi pete don't follow up on guys that throw off on you because they are probably working for someone else that's buying the high dollar paint guns for them so that's why they are running there mouth your channel is probably not for them because you don't paint car's -- pete keep up the good work those are want to bee's anyway you are doing a professional job 👍 thanks for your channel
I am grateful to you. In fact, I am learning from you and I worked to publish your channel on my page I have body shop but honestly, you are the best teacher . Thank you for give information for everybody.
thanks Pete, Good job. I think I will buy a Ntools sprayer. The previous purchase was AZ4 air nozzle 1 and when you painted the Yamaha tank blue, I got excited and bought another AZ4 paint sprayer with air nozzle 2 and now I'm going to order a 1.3mm nozzle and needle from Germany.
Well, you've definitely helped me rate the Upol 2802 as a great budget clear. 😂😂😂. Pete, I always get a few laughs with your videos. It makes makes watching & learning quite fun. This is a good showing & comparison of the guns. The NVE actually isn't a bad gun at all as long as ordered via Aliexpress. The fan pattern is quite respectable for the money.
Hi Boss, It's a bad clear for the money, once you get used to using it. It's harder to spray, imo but I think that's good grounding for using other clears, as they seem to make like easier. As you say, the NVE is not bad at it price point, and it's actually reasonably rewarding to use, something a lot of cheaper guns aren't , cheers mate 👍
hey I'm a professional auto refinisher have been for 25 years, I watch simply because he includes Chinese guns and he's not full of shit, and he's not a gun snob
Hi Mate, Thank you, I just try and be as objective as I can and look at things with a mind that hopefully reflects different budgets, just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's good and of course the other way round, cheers buddy, much appreciated 👍
@@LSturboguy Hi Sir, thank you for your reply - this spray painting hobby is a passion - learning by mistakes and getting a good finish at the end of it, is just so rewarding - I have a 5.2 cfm compressor and bought Chinese Ntools Mini 888 with 1.2 tip to match the compressor - now getting smooth finishes, using 2k urethane, adding thinners - painted my compact car, black base, satin matte clear - stunning - I prefer satin matte to gloss - unique - have a good friend back in NZ, owns "Evans European" "Panel and Paint", uses Glasurit' finishes, favorite gun Sata Jet - best auto painter I've met, gave me a few tips - yes, Petes Hobbies is a good channel for hobbyists like me - Cheers*
Hi Pete, great video mate and I hope you are keeping well as you've been a bit quiet on IG lately🤔I had to laugh at the end when you said the likes would help the Upol ratings🤪🤣 I remember when you sent this NVE and the ProLite clone over to me to try and I think I said pretty much the same thing about the NVE being the better of the 2 guns, I wasn't that keen on the ProLite clone as it didn't spray very well and the fan was very centre heavy making it a fast gun but the NVE did spray better than you would think from a cheap Chinese gun. It was difficult to see any difference on the panel between the NVE and the DV1 here Pete as they both put down a nice finish, as you say the NVE is a good gun for the price👍 It's been a bit cold here over the past few days so I've been struggling to heat my booth as it's been -4 to -6 in there but I've struggled on and hope to have a vid up later today🤞thanks for the video Pete I really like what you do👍
Hi John, Yeah, it's funny. Obviously, at the time, you don't realise what you have said. It's only playing it back you pick things up 😂. As you say, the NVE is definitely a stage ahead of the Pro lite copy. There's certainly a place for it in the market. Yeah, I do need to do a bit more on IG, it all takes time as you know so I'll have to try and make some for it. I'll keep a look out later to see what you've been up to, mate. Cheers 👍
Yeah it's those little slipups that makes you human, they both start with a "You" You-pol and You-Tube so it's an easy mistake to make, plus it cheers us all up🤓🤣 Cheers Pete and don't change mate👏👍
Hey Pete. I have a question. Are the iwata supernova ws400 clear guns that they sale for 450 to 500 USD on AliExpress legit or a copy? Thanks man love your videos
Hi Mate, as far as I know, they are legit, although I would be rather apprehensive about buying one, to be honest. If you're in the US, you may be better off going to SpraygunsDirect, they sell the original WS400 at a good price, you won't pay UK tax and as far as I know no US import tax, just a thought 🤔
Hi Jeffrey, There seems to be a fair few guns called a 5000, but I can't see one from Ntools. Maybe they no longer make it? I have an Ntools 4000 spray gun, which is proving to be very good indeed. Hopefully, I'll get a video up on that one soon. Thanks as always, buddy, much appreciated 👍
Hello Pete, there are some Devilbiss DV1 on Ebªy for 170€ (they have writen Devilbiss DV1 on them not NVE) and i am trying to buy a 2nd hand genuine DV1 but i dont want to get traped into one of these copys. Do you know anything about these copys and is there any diference so i may spot them on the pictures?
Hi Mate, I've never bought a copy one, so I am not sure how different they are to the original I'm really not sure if they are an NVE type gun of a closer copy, sorry I can't be more help
Hows the trigger holding up? i commented on 1 of ur older videos about quality issues, read some reviews elsewhere and some had the same trigger problem. wondering how ur gun is holding up
Hi mate, I presume you mean the NVE ? , It's been fine trigger wise. It was the R500 that I had trigger problems with, which has been sorted. I don't use them much, though , as I only got them to experiment with so longevity wise it's not much of a test
@@peteshobbies5383so i went and got myself another NVE spray gun cause it just sprays much nicer, finer and smoother . It sprays like its a 1.2 Tip. But unfortunately like the other gun i bought, and the ones my friends have gotten. The trigger seal fails. The gun wash i use isnt compatible with the seal in the trigger causing it to swell and get stuck. Ive also read alot of other users having the same issue which is unfortunate because its a very good performing gun.
Hi Ivan, The DV1 is better made and capable of a better finish. However, it isn't 6 times better or anything like that. It will all depend on how much use you intend to give it, if you have a few jobs to do and maybe won't use it much after that it not worth investing in the DV1, if you are serious and it's your main gun so will get plenty of use, then yes, the DV1 is worth it imo 👍
@@peteshobbies5383 OK I'm looking for a mini gun that sprays super nice..I have an sri pro lite..LPH 80..and sagola mini extreme...extreme going back ..pull too many cfm and really drains the paint fast ..I paint smaller stuff like helmets..tanks etc any ideas on a top gun?
Hi Walter, I do get what you are saying, and to an extent, I agree. What I have found is by comparing these guns, not just this but other as well, is people are not getting what they think they are getting, meaning these are not the same, it's only by doing these videos I can convey this. The other school of thought is that people will sometimes buy one of these and then go on to buy the real thing, often because they are reasonably happy with the NVE but if the real thing is better then I'll get one, I've known this happen quite a few time particularly with the Tekna Gti Pro Lite copies where the originals are street's ahead of the copy. Did you notice that on the fake one, to adjust the pressure correctly you have to press the trigger beyond the first stage moving the needle?
Hi mate, no, it doesn't make a difference on mine, I presume you'll on board adjustment is set to fully open?

The dv1 breaks down the particles of the material better, at a percentage of 10 to 8%.

Never, interested me using chinese guns. Use the best and forget the rest!!
