I remember I pulled up to the entrance of Walmart and this elderly white woman opened my passenger side car door sat down and closed the door oblivious to the fact she was in the wrong car. I said, "Well hello there!" she glanced over with a surprised look on her face and says, "Oh my, you're not my husband!" and I said, "What gave it away." and we laughed so hard. Her husband who was directly in front of me had the same make, model and color car I had. Mistakes shouldn't end in gunfire. So tragic but glad this young lady is still with us.
He didn't shoot them because of a mistake. He intentionally tried to murder them for no reason other then his desire to hurt them.
Same happened to me. I was waiting for my son in front of the library and an older lady climbed in and was chatting away. I let her talk until she finally glanced at me and we had a good laugh.

My mom was in the driver seat and I was in the back waiting for my sister who was in the bank. An older woman was at the ATM, turned around, and right away got in our car in the passenger seat. She had a wad of cash in her hand and she screamed when she saw us. She apologized and got out quickly and ran to her husband who was a few parking spots away. My mom and I laughed so hard and felt bad for her.

How is this not attempted murder without bail? He was not attacked, he got out of the car he was sitting in, came up to the girls in their car, and then he opened fire. It doesn't matter if he's been robbed by women before, he intentionally tried to kill her after she says she was sorry for getting into the wrong car. This is too common. Also there was that young man who had anxiety who got in the wrong car when he went with his mom to pick up his little brother from their school. The police was called because he accidentally went to the wrong cafe and apologized. Then the cops came by asked him questions, and when he tried taking his anxiety pill the cops shot and killed him thinking it was going to be a drug deal gone bad or something. Even cops shoot people for nothing.

Meaning no reasonable person could have been in the same situation and been fearful for their life. The friend got in the car, realized they had the wrong car, apologized and left. If he was in real fear for his life, why didn’t he leave? He was in a vehicle, he could’ve driven away, or pull out his gun and wait to see if they returned. Instead, he left his vehicle and pursued them to there’s, making him the aggressor.

Bail is allowed. As unfortunate as it may seem, no one died. The prosecutor wishes she had died in order to bring felony murder charges and a much higher bond. But she’s getting better and seems forgiving. So….

Blood sweat and tears are poured into these routines, and this poor baby’s chance was taken away by a monster. I hope she heals and continues to do what she loves. ❤

That girl is so impressive. The way she told the story of how she handled herself in the moments after being shot. She’s beautiful , she is incredibly well spoken and handled herself better then most people would handle that. OMG this is scary because I have done this so many times and just did it the other day in the parking lot because there was a vehicle parked near where my ride was waiting on me and tried to get into the wrong truck but caught myself before I got in. Well that and the fact that my friend yelled "wrong truck"! We laughed it off but it never dawned on me that it could have costed me my life for a simple mistake! I am 53 years old and have done this so many times and it is so easy to make this mistake with getting someone's car mixed up with your own! And this has happened a lot to me because I'll have a million things running through my mind at the same time and you're not really paying attention but you're paying attention enough to believe you're getting into your own vehicle! Everybody goes through this on a daily basis with having so many things going through your head that you have to get done that day or the next day or just a hectic day of everyday life altogether. Chills went right through me when I seen this video because it is such an innocent mistake! My prayers are with that girl and her family! Along with the cheerleaders that were involved as well.
Payton is the most beautiful person inside and out. So poised. I always feel so hard for people who get hurt and still want to take care of others. But that is usually just the kind of person they are. I am so sorry she can not still do what she used to love, and I believe that even against the extensive injustice and mental/physical injuries she was forced to endure that she will thrive. My grandma when she was declining from Alzheimer’s she actually sat in someone else’s car. The driver was so understanding and nice about it. It’s scary to think this could have easily happened to her 😢
As a father of four daughters, my heart goes out to this young girl. This cowardly man made a decision to shoot these young girls after one of them opened his car door by mistake. She was apologetic but her apologies fell on death ears as he chose to shoot them. He should be arrested for premeditated attempted murder, bodily harm, and not be out on bail. These young, beautiful teenage girl's lives will be changed forever because of this horrible cowards actions. I pray that they will receive justice and that this criminal will be put away for a long time. I pray for a speedy recovery for this young girl and that she will be able to continue doing the things she loves 🙏

So heart breaking that Payton and her friends went thru this trauma. Its sickening to see people carelessly shooting at innocent people for no good reason! I am so happy to see Payton recovering so well from her injuries and not only recovering, but thriving and she showed the whole world that evil can never triumph over good. That dirty roach who shot her may be living at home and out of jail for now but I honestly do not know how that thing sleeps at night knowing what he did! He is a callous POS with no moral compass. Payton and her friends will get thru this but that thing who shot them has to pay a hefty price for shooting them and...next thing you know, they will come out and say that he is mentall ill. Stop making excuses for roaches like this. Lock them up and let prison justice ensue!!! Society needs to turn its back on criminals like this who shoot innocent people!
