In an age where Brian Adams and Cory Heart, competing for their glory Lover Boy absolutely got looked over.
Saw them on City Island in Harrisburg, PA summer of 1985, hands down, one of the best live shows I've ever seen. And I say that even compared to bands like Iron Maiden, Priest, Motley Crue and Metallica. Those were all great shows but the Loverboy show was definitely one of my absolute favorite live shows.
Long live the 80's..proud to say I grew up then and went to so many concerts and absolutely adored the hairbands. Will never be another era like this again sadly.

Patently untrue. I grew up in the 80s and we had great variety but it is a golden age now where you can listen to anything you want and new great bands in every genre. Plus 1/2 of what people bring up as 80s was 70s. I could easily make the case there were better bands in the 70s or 90s than the 80s.... but people rely on emotion instead of logic.
I love how fantastically 80's this video is... the hair, the makeup, the mullets... it's glorious! Just FANTASTIC. I might've just been a kid in the 80's, but it was clearly the best time. Wish I could go back to 1985 and party with Loverboy at the Holiday Inn.

In my opinion Loverboy was maybe the best rock band of the 80s. Super Underrated band . Their sound was in top level . They still are one of my best bands ever . I still listen to them without feeling bored at all with their sound .
