This was a music in the 80's can't ever be repeated it was all one of a kind very unique and different wish I could turn back time to then
This song always takes me back to the roller rink and 11 years old! Skating under those giant speakers with Loverboy blasting out was the BEST!!
Sadly slowly but surely they're closing all the roller skate rinks, which is terrible did taking away everything that these kids should be doing depriving them of doing stuff that we did back in the day oh, just to build big buildings and taking away all our memories it's all about the Mighty Dollar it's a shame God bless all peace out
RIP Scott Smith (February 13, 1955 - November 30, 2000), aged 45
You will be remembered as a legend.
Is that the dude who went missing and was never found?
@@johnnykov It might be one of the band members on guitar that I heard died in a boating accident
Still a damn good song...in 2021.
nothing like around that i know..if you do let me know
@@mikeydrookie351 I don't see anything like that nowadays.
100% better than 95% of the crap out there!
Yes sir Dave, I refuse to listen to anything on the radio today. Unless it's Spotify, SiriusXM, or right here. Everything else makes me 🤢
@@rrsplinter221 some of the newer rappers such as Joyner Lucas and Logic are pretty good but most of the newer music doesn't have as many meaningful lyrics as the older songs do.
Still love this song now just as much as I did 40 years ago!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️
❤
Same here. Poor GenZ that can't live through the 80s!
Scary 40 years ago we heard this best times of my my life Windsor Canada
Heavy metal song.!! Awesome vocals. Mike Reno. 🤟🤟
New kong movie took me back, we didn't know how good we had it!!!
.. "I'm gonna pack my bags and flyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ... fantastic! that's how we were in the 80's
I want to pack my bags and fly back to the 80s 🚀
I would do anything to fly back to the 80s!! Best years of my life!!
Flyyyyyyyy...fly fly...but yeah
I liked this song when it came out but over time it has become one of my top 5 songs of all time... the lyrics, the whole arrangement is terrific and Mike Reno's voice is out of this world. Definitely think of him as very underrated now.
Great memories. Loved this when it came out when I was in my teens. I'm now 54. Still have the vinyl.
loved it then and still cant get enough now..
Good times for sure
Same age here... I also still have the original album in my vinyl collection since the day I bought it. Lost a lot of fellow classmates, friends, and family over the past many years... but the music keeps the memories of everyone alive forever.
I got tile on my floors now.
Same, I'm 54 too ☺️
2024.....will forever jam to this freaking classic...this is music...

Loverboy ROCZ
It's the ONLY Loverboy song.
The intensity and enthusiasm on the drummer’s face really adds to this video.
best drummer face ever, no doubt, but check out Myron Grombacher from Benatar's band. He's like animal from the Muppets
I saw Loverboy in the early 80s for $12.50 and was up front at the barricade in Charlotte NC. Phenomenal concert
Nashville, TN probably same tour!!!!
I saw them in San Diego with the Hooters, I believe 87ish.
$12.50 , you can’t even pay for a bag of oxygen at the concert
Were they with 38 Special?
Saw them in 23 and just as good now. Mike Reno sounded fantastic .

Stan Lee You better REPENT vs Serve the serpent who beguiled us all from birth minion!!!
The Lil g god that led you to say that is baal/satan your father at this time the devil!!
Before he fell he was built to praise The CREATOR MOST HIGH constantly with his created built in music instrument.
Now he uses the deepest knowledge of the muse that makes you sick to get you so jazzed in a moment in spired you are led to blaspheme the CREATOR in a way that reveals your ignorance and yet proves you are his puppet at the same time.
DUMMY UP MINION!
WAAAAKE UP MINION!
REPENT vs SERVE THE SERPENT WHO BEGUILES YOU CONSTANTLY!!!
It was 1981 and I was 15 with my two best girlfriends hanging out at the pool and blasting this tape playing it over and over 😄 great memories for sure 💕
That high pitched but perfectly pitched scream of "Fly" in the middle still gives me chills to this very day
The God of singing. The best song its over.
I am not kidding. I am old and I was there and this was INCREDIBLE 😅
❤❤❤
I've been listening over and over and over again for hours and yeeears waiting to finally get tired of this. It doesn't work! 💜

80's MUSIC NEVER DIES !
Don't forget seventies!!!
Only 80s music listeners. :-(
@@ribonucleic You couldn't possibly be any more wrong!
@@ribonucleic The 70s just ended when this came out, so NO! And don't forget, '80-'82 was very 70s, clothing, music, TV, furniture, everything.
A true masterpiece of a song.
Mike Reno does get his credit for his voice, and he is such a genuinely nice guy unbelievable, but still very under rated voices off the 80' no doubt!!
what an incredible vocal range, a true talent we can all enjoy! what a treasure to grow up in the 80's
He really is a very good singer
Mike Reno and Scott Smith were two of the absolute nicest guys I ever met
To the Younger Generation,
Dont let Loverboy's Music Die !!!!

Calbert Garavito
I seen them live several times in the 80's...not sure if they have any bootleg videos out there, great underrated band imo
