I found that need to restart the Steam after manually added a game to Steam in Herotic Launcher. > Highlight your game in the Library and press X for 'Options' Choose 'Details' Go up to the 3 dots in the top right corner and then choose "Add to Steam". Restart Steam: Enter Desktop mode, exit from Desktop mode. Then able to find that under Non-Steam category.
honestly i don't use Heroic at least for now, I use Lutris instead. i havent played any of my epic games freebies so far... as for other platforms i find Lutris to be way more reliable. Its UI is a bit outdated and looks more intimidating to use at the start, but as said it was way more reliable for me. With heroic i had many issues like not finding proton through game mode and things like that where games will simply not load. while i had zero issues with Lutris. and Lutris have epic games as well (i think it downloads the windows client itself) but as said i haven't used it so far.
I was the same at the start lutris was great but I found it annoying at times but the same can be said like you say about heroic. Same goes for bottles it has its place but not needed quite as often. now that all 3 have joined forces I can’t wait to see what lutris/ heroic/ and GE throw together!
[Please Help] I installed Decky Loader but I am not seeing any of those functions (recorder and the like). Is there a sign-in somewhere for Decky I just don’t see?
@@kingsalami217 Yep. I click the Plug icon. Funny thing is, I install it and the icon is still on my desktop with the (!) still, I guess indicating that it’s (not really?) installed.
@@kingsalami217 all browsers have a synch functionality... well maybe some newer and smaller projects still don't have it, but the bigger ones have it.
@@cqllel5186 yes. but I don't really see any difference in convenience, Firefox can do anything chrome can. (also i commented before about the sync thing, its there in firefox but seems the comment got deleted.)
You skipped a couple of step by steps after you got done downloading it you just went to the next step without saying what to go into. Alot of dead space as to the step by step instructions you forget that ur talking to us and tend to just open things up leaving us in limbo so u get a D for trying to give step by step instructions and i unsubbed from ur channel we pay to much on the steam deck just to brick it or to have stuff installed taking up space

on the nested desktop - when using it in game mode I have no mouse cursor, I tried a few control sets, didn't help
In the controller sets just make the right track pad a mouse and it should pop up!
