honestly. if it interrests you go play it. I have played it multiple times by now and never had those issues. So it´s not like it will definetly break on you

It’s honestly not that bad casually. Not as fun or forgiving technically as 5 but I wouldn’t let the soft locks deter you especially if you’re playing with a friend.
