i had never played any of the og re titles. and one day i was at a friends and he showed me re5 and we played through the campaign together and i fell in love with it. i begged my mom to get it for me and she did and then i played the helllll out of it. fastforward a year or two i finally got tired of just bulldozing re5, so i go on the psn store and look for re games, re2's cover art catches my eye and i remember in the description if the game it says something about customizable or upgradable weapons and i was like oh just like re5 so i bought it. it was absolutely nothing like re5 lmaoo i died maybe 5+ times to the zombies at the very beginning before finally realizing i had to run past them all. i then looked up a guide to get me started and i fell in love with re2 and to this day it is my all time favorite game. the remake is amazing but the original still has my heart.

I didn't get my PlayStation until late in its cycle, but that didn't stop me from getting RE2 for my N64.
N64 port even had a randomizer option

i did play 3 and got scared shitless but bought doom on the ps1 mgs1 and diablo :D
later on ofcourse when i was a bit older i hunted down re2 new in a retro store quite nice

Original RE1 had the best soundtrack I think. It personified the classic horror soundtrack that matched perfectly with the oddly laid out mansion and its corridors.
Naaaah Re2 has the best ost , but Re1 too but not as memorable overall like Re2

I just finished my run of RE2 after a couple years and I screamed then I saw this patern at the beginning... he also explained why.
Are there no spiders in the remake? I don't recall seeing any, but those mutated flesh mobs in the sewer poison you, so maybe those are sort of the spiders replacements?

How come it wasn't there this time around? O_O as for the Sherry's "dropping leg" thing, I think it can be caused by repeteadly pushing the square/X button while she's trying to climb
That would be for the 2nd playthrough not the first.. If you started as Claire, The Licker scene will be available for Leon Story B.. Vice Versa..

It's faster. Maybe you already know but the text is faster than English Text. Maybe Chinese is the Fastest. I dunno. Either way we don't know the language.

I prefer the original RE2 than the Remake.
American version is way harder the spawns are harder and there r more zombies on your way to the police station and in front of the police station there are a couple extra zombies. Edit the more I watch the more I see how much easier this version is compared to the American version.

"normies be like whats a frame" i believe a frame is one full screen refresh because pixels actually refresh starting in the top left and refresh left to right and top to bottom so a frame is when the entire screen of pixels has refreshed once, which is real quick considering the standard is 60fps and a lot of screens are something like 1920x1280 or something xD

however you're overcomplicating it. Games run at whatever FPS ( typically 60) .. therefore 1 frame is 1/60th of a second. Also frames of animation are measured as well. Certain animations have X amount of frames in it.
Source : I play fighting games at a tournament level , where everything is measured in frames. I'm extremely well versed in frame counting (since it's integral to playing fighting games)

It's actually a good question for the Originals. They both are really damn good. But for the Remakes it's no Question. RE2 Remake is better than RE3 Remake.
