Hi, I have an old version of of Macbook pro and use the hold key for accents, but my mom just got a new version of the Macbook pro and we're struggling to find the option to do that. Help? hahah
No idea why someone would thumbs you down sir. Thank you very much! I was so frustrated before seeing this video. I watched 30 seconds of 6 others first. You rock!😎😎😎😎😎🙏🏾
Not sure what you mean. Those aren't hidden at all. The colon and semicolon have their own key to the right of the L. Hyphen and underline also have their own key to the right of 0 (zero).
Like 2.5mm²? Just use the emoji viewer like I show in the video. When I searched for "2" this is the first thing that comes up. Of course in most cases when using a word processor or anywhere you use rich text, you would just use a normal 2 and then set it to Superscript.
Is there a way to type the letter P with symbols or shortcuts? If it was windows I could use ascii but I'd like a solution without the on screen keyboard :C
HOW can I access the additional special characters in a font I purchased? Customer service said I can access it on a Microsoft Windows by opening character map but they didn't know how to on a MAC. I called apple since I have apple care and he was WORTHLESS. It sounded like he was watching TV and offered no solution EXCEPT getting a MS COMPUTER. Can you help??
Hi, when I hold down a key, 'e' for example, to check the accents for that letter, all I get is the letter 'e' repeated until I take my finger off the key. What am I doing wrong?
Check your System Preferences, Keyboard, Input Sources settings to make sure you have the language set correctly. If so, then it could simply be that your Shift key is stuck. Take it in for service.
@@LorenaMaeGarbo Depends on your keyboard. I am in the US and buy US-specific Macs. So my keyboard is "U.S." But if you were in, say, France and bought a Mac there you would probably get the French keyboard and then the proper one would be "French." But I doubt this is your problem. It is probably a stuck key and you need to get it repaired.
