    Thank you so much for your video! Just got your "Fixed Broadhead Sharpening Guide" and will be rewatching your video over and over to help me sharpen my new Tuffhead broadheads! Your video(s) are going to shorten my learning curve big time!

    Your videos are always very well done and informative. Using your fixed blade guide and sandpaper to sharpen the Tuffhead Meathead single bevel was giving me fits (added tape to get to the 30* angle on the bevel). I really struggled to get a burr at all grits. I ordered the diamond sharpening plates thinking that was the solution. Then I watched this video. As it turns out it was the ceramic coating that made the burr difficult to obtain. However, those diamond plates are well worth the cost. Thanks for all your help.👍

    I saw this head is constructed of high quality s7 tool steel. Iron will also uses fantastic steel but the price reflects that fact. Just curious - in your opinion what is the best “economical” yet high quality steel for single bevel broadheads and can you give a couple examples please? Thank you for your all your very informative videos.

    Excellent information, thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Could you possibly provide a link as to where to purchase the diamond stone set you use?

    Has Tuffheads QC gotten any better? In very impressed. What other brand single bevel broadheads do you recommend? Also what brand are your diamond plates and where do you get them? I'd like to get into the style sharpening you do in your videos

    Great video as always.. how do these compare to the vpa single bevel heads?

      VPA has a more durable 35 degree bevel. I like a steeper angle.

      @@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 I agree.. i bought the "premium tool steel" ones when they had them but wasnt sure how much of a difference there was in the tuffheads s7 vs carbon tool steel

    How much tape would you use for the original Evolution broadhead?

    • @innovativeoutdoorsman5067
      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      none. The guide will not work with their 20 degree version. You would need our C kit. See this. th-cam.com/video/pkhWn10dfh0/w-d-xo.html

      If I use the guide in this video without tape what would be the approximate bevel angle? I watched your video about benefits to a steeper bevel angle

    The 25” of tape didn’t quite get me the angle needed on the Evolution 2.0 150gr heads. Is this normal?

      How much tape did you have to use to get the right angle? Also did 25" and im not even close.

      @@janhendrikventerstrydoom4287 I put the thing away with the rest of my archery stuff I don’t use… I just bought the work sharp elite sharpening kit where it adjusts the angle and has different stones from 220 to leather. $130 on Amazon and I can put a mirror finish on anything from scissors to broadheads. The last head I sharpened was more sharp than the razor I use for my face.

    Tuffheads QC looks to be lacking for $117 for 3 heads.

      Almost all btoadheads today suck at sharpness. My grandpa has a stash of old brpadheads he showed me some old wasp blades brand new in a small paper box that were absolutely the sharpest heads I've ever seen, they were like 20 years old too. If you can handle a broadhead like he done in this video it's not sharp enough.

    • @bbmopar3834b
      @bbmopar3834b 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. For that price they should be a clean sharp looking head! Iron Will does it! Not saying they are junk heads, but take a little time and pride in your products.
