I've recently bought these heads and this sharpener... But i added heaps more tape, to the point where I could not add any more. And even then I had to move the blade very far to the down slope to the point where I was taking material off the guide itself. At the end of the day, it sharpened, but I dont understand how we ended up with vastly different setups

Just curious if you ever tried to strop that edge on flat paper instead of your device after creating the edge with the 344 guide.. Seems to me this would strop a very slight micro bevel on to the outer most edge creating a super polish right on the very cutting edge itself. Just wondered if you ever tried that and if there was any sharpness difference.

Thankyou, watched an Australian broadhead sharpening video and when the bloke sharpens he doesn't remove the burr, the reason he says is when hunting animals with thick hide or pigs with coarse hair as the broadhead penetrates the hide the skin takes the burr off leaving a razor sharp broadhead which then hits the vitals

Just ordered and tried on vpa and blade does not stick out far enough to even touch the diamond plate. Tried on a couple different brands and same thing.

Add ferrite cores to the wiring of the generator

I love the Ser razor black hornets, flies like a field point and is devastating on game. I tried the string method for the serrations without any success. Found some tiny, diamond grit rat tail files on Amazon, way faster and way easier to sharpen the serrations.

What buffing wheel works good on the bench grinder? Also whatever i do i just cant manage to get the mirror finish on the bevel. I walk through all the grits and buffing compound. I can get a mirror finsh and razor edge on my vpa heads just fine but it just cant see to get it on the ironwills

EMP has happened and it is time to drag the generator out of the garage and start it up. Can I start and use the generator inside of the EMP Faraday cage? Will the electrical cord void the Faraday cage. Will I have to buy a EMP shield device to protect the generator? Can I run and receive power from the generator with the EMP shield?

Quick question please...we made one and it is great. The radio signal is blocked, but I was just wondering about the cell phone signal getting through. Does that matter or is generator still EMP safe? Thanks for the video!

Bought a 35 deg guide and sandpaper kit and sharpened my first VPA single bevel head tonite. Very pleased with the results on a new set of heads. S7 tool steel can get really sharp and i only used 800, 1200, and 2500 with buff compound. I can only imagine if i started at 2 or 400 grit .Thanks for making a guide that works and like u taught us, the key is that burr ;) wonderful tools.
