    Wow, you can get a broadhead scary sharp. Pull that broadhead out of your quiver and everything will stop moving - for fear of being cut. When you dulled the blade with that ceramic rod, I was twitching. I bought QAD Exodus broadheads based on your testing and various tests from other archers. I am very happy with their performance and my ability to sharpen them using your guide. Thank you for the great service you provide.

    I found that cutting the tape into 10” or so sections made it easier to manage for changing the angle.

    Great videos. If you had to recommend these or the VPA, which would you choose? I feel like the tanto tip would be more beneficial than the VPA head. Thanks

      Im a fixed blade guy BUT if I were to choose a mech head, it would be SEVR. VPA makes great stuff too. You cant go wrong with any of their heads.

      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067 Thanks for the reply. I am actually referring to the single bevel fixed heads.

    How do you keep the blades equal?? Or does it not matter??

    • @innovativeoutdoorsman5067
      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      just get them sharp. Equal is nice but sharp is what matters.

      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067 you're 344 guide has been amazing at keeping my Annihilator 125XL very sharp. I am considering trying the Trifecta 125's because of John Lusk's testing. And his recommendations.

    Is it satisfactory to be able to feel the bur with your finger? it seems I can catch the bur better with finger feel than I can with a sticky note tab.

    Ron I watched your video on these heads but my curiosity got me with the rolling back and forth. My question is. Is it important on a single bevel head to have the same amount of strokes on each side as to keep it as close to being balanced?

    • @innovativeoutdoorsman5067
      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the head is equally dull on both side it will take the same amount of strokes on each side any way. Where an imbalance might happen is if one blade get a deep chip or nick that you want to work out.

    I noticed on the higher grits you started putting your finger on top instead of just the sides. Was that intentional for more down pressure?

    • @innovativeoutdoorsman5067
      @innovativeoutdoorsman5067  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, the finger got tired of being held up. Normally I use my index finger and thumb on the side but that nasty burn on my thumb knuckle would stretch and crack if I spread my fingers apart too much. Light pressure for every grit.

    Curious if you have tried Crafted Archery Aero 1 single bevel heads. What I am using now.

    Just curious, when you take the coating off does it change the weight of the broadhead

    What plate should i go back to after shooting into a target just to ensure my bow is hitting on with broadheads and field points.
