Got a 4C, and a dodge dart, I have had the transmission out on the dart and have replaced the clutch assembly after the dealer messed it all up. I love the Dart for its 1.4L multiair and sure love the 4C. Nothing compares to the sound and its handling. There may be better but not in my opinion.
Great info--thanks--similar problem on the Alfa Romeo Giulia---tried to raise the car today, but no place for jack stands if I use the indicated 4 jack points (similar to 4C- arrows indicate them). I'll need to go back and look...
I wondered for a long time if it was at all possible to lift it up at home. You clearly showed it. Thank you, very interesting because you show very useful stuff I never found elsewhere. It's a pity you did it all wrong, you ruined your car and that your lost your gentleman sausage ... ;-P
Hey Alfamily, I sadly suffered a tire puncture. The tire shop did not use the center jack point to lift the car, they lifted from the front most jack point first and then they lifted it from the frame in the rear. When lowering the car, they lowered the rear first, then the front via the front most jack point. Can failing to lift and lower from the center point cause any damage?
Thanks for this video, but under My 4c there isn't points in evidence as in The your 4c! It's normal? The carbon is regular in The two frontal "points", there isn't the "pads"....

Sounds like they did it right. Using the center jack point would have been fine, too.

@@bmx687 If they used the indicated front and rear jack points it's good. You don't have to use the center one.
HI. Do you need to use rubber pucks or wood piece at the lift points?
Rubber would be preferred. You need something flat to ensure it only contacts the lift points and not the surrounding carbon.

That's odd. Mine is the same as several other 4Cs I've looked at.

The NAFTA 4C has a different monocoque. It had to be beefed up a bit to meet NAFTA safety standards.
With a large lift pad to distribute the weight, you can lift just about anywhere on the carbon fiber monocoque.
