    Great review man thanks for this. Main thing i wanted to see was that they have an internal battery - one thing they could've cheaped out on. Glad to see they didn't.

      The internal battery is actually very good. 2-2.5 hr run times. Batts also charge while the unit is in use, connected to hard power AC.

    I'd really like it if you show us some shots you made using the lights... :/

    THANKS Scott for a very comprehensive demo and review of the Godox TL60 lights. Just curious, at the 24:47 mark in the video you show the light hung vertically off a C-Stand. What sort of adapter did you use to attach the included plastic retaining clip to the C-Stand pin? THANKS!

      Hi! That was actually a little clamp from 9.solutions that I used for that :) Hope that helps!

    How does it compare to the digitalfoto chameleon lights since they function almost the same?

    Hey man great review! Can I connect the lights to a vmount battery?

    Nice review. I’m wondering if there is a screw-on magnet that would attach to the clear plastic clamps.

      Thanks! Probably a very easy fix, yes. And/or Godox should start selling magnetic clamps made for these to solve that problem :)

    Great review I brought them but my remote does not dim the lights!

    • @ScottDumas
      @ScottDumas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do they make other adjustments and only dimming doesn't work or do the remotes not do anything at all? If they're not working at all, the channel or group could be mismatched but if it's only the dim function that's not working I can't imagine why that could be... :(

    Hey! Is it safe to use the lights while it's plugged in? I mean does it damage the battery in the long run if I keep using the lights while plugged in, etc.? Thank you!

      @ScottDumas  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I sure hope so, it's mainly how I use them. I haven't read any warnings or recommendations from them NOT to do it, and since the cables are so very long it seems like they're intended for that purpose. The long term damage on battery life... we'll see in a while I guess. Sorry that's not entirely helpful

      @@ScottDumas no, the long cable that you mentioned does imply that they do expect users to have it powered through AC while in use, it seems! thanks for sharing, Scott. Pushes me closer to getting a kit for myself! :)
