Subscribed! Love how you’re one of the few that thoroughly went through the app because how an app performs can sometimes be a huge dealbreaker for me (solo shooter, run and gun etc.).
Greatly appreciate the detail! I fell in love with this light comparing it to the pavotube 6c, but the godox 2-light kit looks like everything i need without worrying about buying extra accessories. Thank you!
Just purchased 4 of these so I'm glad to watch reviews talking good about them ^^ ..on a different feedback that I ended up noticing since you talked about you wanting your youtube channel going: You should fix up your Home section on your channel. When clicking your channel it seems like you only have a few videoes, like 5-6 of them because you only have 1 category (Uploads) and no other info, and its easy to avoid pressing the "Videos" tab when you only see so few on the Home screen. This does affect if a person want to subscribe or not. Good video tho, or else I wouldnt bother taking the time to let you know my first reaction when visiting your channel. :)
Thanks man for supporting this channel and the valuable information letting me know when something is wrong 🙂👊. I believe I fixed it! Please let me know If it looks ok?
@@ArtVideoProductions Yes, thats a lot better ^^ Now it feels more welcoming when pressing your channel :) You can also do introduction to your channel videoes now, I dont remember how to but I remember it was easy to add, which can pop up when someone who's not subbed get ^^
I'm not finding the link to the detailed app explanation video. When you pointed up those links were to two other different lights. Can you send me to the link for the app please?
Do you know how to solve the problem of it saying "equipment is offline" when the TL30 is turned on? (and had been connected previously). And I can see the Bluetooth setting is turned to "on." So previously it connected and I was able to adjust it using the app. I turned the light off. Then when turning the light on again, the app won't connect to it or recognize it...
Is it a blue backdrop you are using or is it a white one lit by some blue gel? In case it is a blue backdrop, could you please share some details about that particular one? Thanks.
Theses lights look similar to the pavotubes but have same Bluetooth functionality as the Aputure Al mc. Like the case as well. Great video again, appreciate the work you did here.
Hey Luis , greetings, I did like your last few videos that I've had a chance to see , this one is excellent as well and I'll be looking into acquiring some kind of lights like these , Hope you and your family are well and continue the excellent product and workshops that you do well. Talk to you later, CJ.
It depends how close or how far the light is and the ambient brightness being filmed, and what the main light you’re using is doing, like…how big it is, and brightness levels. There’s no such thing as a “fixed” percentage. The light exposure can also change drastically simply by just having another person step in next with a different hair color will require another adjustment. If you’re using these lights continuously for interviews, I always plug these lights via DC. They will last about 45 minutes to 55 when you just fully charge.
For music videos, I’d choose the 60. You need bigger tubes. And remember to set the brightness to a minimum for proper color rendition on camera just like you saw in the video here if all you’re doing is to show the tubes on camera instead of illuminating a subject.
Thanks you very much! You helped me a lot, I kinda like this style of Light. But there is one question left, I saw you used the light while charging with a powerbank at 100% battery. Is it possible to run it only via wallplug or is there a better light or solution to ran a tubelight only on constant power??? Thanks a lot ❤️
Thanks man. If you want to use this light or any light all day, obviously you will Want that plugged in the wall. Also, make sure the TL-30 battery is also at 100% first so you won’t stress the battery. I hope that helps.
Thanks for the review man. It was very detailed and informative. Question, I noticed that the little LEDs are very visible and not as diffused as the Pavotube. Is this the case throughout the brightness range? Thanks.
Since these lights are not meant to be used as a keylight, I wouldn’t worry about it. Plus, as far as diffusion goes, if it’s not at least 3” away from the LEDs, even if you can’t see the LEDs through, again, that’s irrelevant. Finally, the more you see the LEDs, the higher the output. Great for flooding some colors on backgrounds, hair light, etc.
@@ArtVideoProductions I understand, thanks. My only concern is that I plan to use thse lights to light up products and wouldn't fancy the individual LEDs reflecting in the surfaces.

That’s a tough choice, they are both great, however, there’s a small price difference and slightly brighter than one another. The best way to see this is… You have to go to BH website and you’ll see. Do a side by side comparison by taking a screenshot on the specifications. The TL30 is 100 ish Lumens brighter but it’s more expensive, $30 or so. Battery life as far as I can remember is pretty much the same. Buy for studio work or very long use, such as a hair light on an interview set, ALWAYS plug it in.
@@muhammadfirdaus3561 the K 21 the light is slightly diffused. If you’re doing key light, to do the right thing with the correct tool, use the right thing such as a Bowens mount COB light. Now, for run and gun, if you’re shooting a wedding where the couple is going somewhere to take some video with you, then yeah, a tube light goes well. The K21 the light is slightly more diffused.
Looks like you saw my TL-60 review 🤣 I actually had a drumming channel including Rush tracks and many other songs but had to take it down because of copyright
If you are referring to holding charge while the light is off, and stored in the case, yes it does. I only used it once since I reviewed it. All 3 bars were there. But I always recommend that you still plug in the charger before use.
@@ArtVideoProductions hi sorry , actually I mean is the battery reliable? Do you always get 1 hrs at 100% brightness ? Cos there's a reviewer who mentioned that his unit sometime went off like after 20min of use even when it's showing 3 bar in the beginning.
@@winwinwin282828 I was using it for the first time on a corporate shoot as a hair light, but I didn’t charge in full, I forgot to do it. It was showing 3 bars. The interview was long so I don’t remember exactly how long the light was on for. But, in the middle of the shoot, the light DIED. For something like this, for CRUCIAL shooting, I will always recommend that you plug ANY battery operated light in the wall, regardless what the charging level says. Plug it in the wall with the supplied power supply, then shoot while using it. I hope that helps.
I always plug in when using battery powered lights regardless. Now, if you’re using it intermittently, (on and off on the go) that 1 hour will feel like 4
This light is absolute garbage. After a few recharges, it's now dead after 20 min of use and the battery still shows half capacity when it's being charged

Nice! Looking at buying a pair for some Dj sets. Just wanted clarification on one thing though, so does the tl30 actually have a music effect?
If it did, it would be definitely in the video.
Nice and very detailed, please note that Gopro is waterproof for a bout 5 years now
Yes, I know LOL. I forgot to mention the “old type”, but you get the idea…
Great review as always mate. Makes me wonder if they are going to update the TL-60 with some of these features - bottom screws holes, grid, etc...
I’d guess… Due to physics laws, attaching multiple TL-60s will definitely and easily break the light.
Can you do portraits with these lights?
Absolutely not, unless you don’t mind shooting at ISO 5000. For portraits, using LEDs, you need a minimum of 300watts.
