You ride past my house. Glad you enjoyed the scenery. You respected the pony’s too 👍 Woods is fabulous and friendly. Mikey and the team make great coffee.
Oh do we! It’s so beautiful, Rich! How lovely. The ponies are just incredible. I suppose you are used to them now… Woods was brilliant, ideal shop. Did wish they sold a mini tub of chamois cream. Won’t lie 😂 was close to asking if they had any butter 😂
I have lived in the heart of the New Forest for 9 years and last November I bought a bike after a 40 year gap, 2 stone lighter and cycle all those roads almost weekly. I never take them for granted and blessed to live here but hearing it back from you guys was so great to here, your enthusiasm was infectious. Clay Jones
Good video! My regular riding is in the New Forest. A lot of the forest does get flooded, especially as the Forestry Commission have changed the water course management to encourage more flooding to increase biodiversity. It is great for gravel especially in the summer months
It’s so gorgeous for riding! Ahhh no way, I didn’t realise that about the flooding - some of it was quite bad in the roads. Same as round by us. We’ve had some cars abandoned in super deep bits.
The New Forest is lovely. I spent much of my life there and will be returning next week for the New Forest Sportive, which was part of my 312 training, but frustratingly due to illness, I had to pull out. Hey ho, there is always next year.
Welcome to the New Forest a cycling hot spot and you can see why. There are a few "wild" pigs around and you see them occasionally, but most are let out by farms for pannage in the autumn. Otherwise I'm delighted that you enjoyed all the wild life, donkeys, horses and cattle. Unfortunately after such a wet winter a lot of the forest does remain flooded and the fords have been up as you will probably experienced but glad you enjoyed it and the bird song, amazing at this time of year. Good to see you here!

Ahhh the roads and scenery is absolutely stunning. Really beautiful. Love that you get to cycle them weekly, what a tonic to see the horses!
Great place to ride. Always looking out for the Forests Big 5......🐴🦌🐑🐷🐮
So so lovely!!
The new forest is fantastic. Great for walking and riding, my favourite place in the UK
It’s a great place!

Thanks so much for watching! It was such a beauty with all the animals!
What a great ride
So much fun!
Congrats, having a kid is brilliant although it is such a massive change. Hope you and the family are ok anyway.
I don’t know if this comment was meant for me 😂! Thanks for being hereeee
@@Pelohun lol yeah it's my chromecasts not syncing videos properly when commenting. Sorry, I do love all the videos though 👌
I've been meaning to ride in the New Forest for ages. That'll have to change this year!
Ahh it’s so gorgeous and well worth a visit for any type of riding.
We have some friends that live down there it is a lovely part of England 🚴♂️🚴🏽♀️👍
So lovely! How nice to have an extra special reason to visit!
How long did it take ?
I think we enjoyed 7 hours! We weren’t riding with a pace in mind and just enjoyed the scenery, navigated closed roads, accidental gravel 😂
Looks Lovely! Will Definitely have to visit the new forest this year! 200k is impressive, how long did it take you guys?
Oh it’s well worth a visit! A good day in the saddle as we took our time to be honest!
I like the subtitles, "I have seen animals before..." 😂
😂😂 I lose my mind over all the wild animals so just wanted to confirm 😂
I think you need to clean your shoes 😂 Looks like an amazing place to ride
Omg I KNOW!! I really do, I keep being told by Isaac. They are battered within an inch of their lives - it’s scuff. But I love them so so much.
Nice one. Can you pls share the strava route you tried in new forest
Will do!
Where was the cafe? Looked amazing 😊
It’s Woods Cyclery in Lyndhurst. Big shout out to Seb, great coffee and cakes and always good to chat to.
@@claytonjones5857 I'll have to head out there soon.
@4:27 anyone else think the clouds look like the UK ? ☁️
It is the UK!
@@Pelohun I mean the shape of the clouds 😂
