Great video, yet again. Glorious part of Wales. Love the Mawddach Trail. We {my wife and ride buddy}have ridden this on road bikes, and it's a comfortable ride. Also ridden it , with our son, on gravel bikes. I know that you were running out of light, but the old station, now a pub, is a must stop for rehydration.🍺🍷😉 There are some amazing roads and views along the base of Cadair Idris, and down into Fairbourne and Barmouth. And yes, that part of the world does test your legs, but it's so rewarding. On the subject of Isaac's 199 mile ride, 199 miles will always be the same as a 200 mile ride for me. what's one mile amongst friends.😉
Thanks so much for watching! Yes, fantastic riding and we’d heard that pub was good. Will absolutely be back. 🙌🏼 I think Isaac has just about made peace with the 199 😂 hope you had a brill weekend.
Hi Kate!!! Just last week I was wondering (worrying, actually) if we'd lost you two! Great location and video Kate, as always! We're teetering on the start of winter here in Canada so a) I'm stuck indoors on the trainer and b) I'm really hoping for lots of new adventures from the three of you, ya, the puppy counts for sure. So cute, more please! - Bob (Toronto, Canada)
Hiiiii! No you’ll never lose us 😂🫶🏽 lots of adventures to come. Ahhh I bet Canada is looking super beautiful. It’s the season for the indoor trainer for sure - we’ll get through it together 😂 hope you’re super well Bob and thanks for all your support. As always!
@@Pelohun"You'll never lose us". Those are genuinely the nicest words I've read all year! If you're on Rouvy or Zwift and you'd like to do a group ride sometime drop me a message, it would be a pleasure and I'm sure a total 'fun-fest' to ride together! - Bob (Toronto, Canada)
After too many near misses and 2 serious hits, I never ride anymore without lights as it’s just too risky. Next time you’re driving and see a cyclist without lights, take note of how hard it is to notice them. That’s how you appear to drivers when you ride. Also, the Garmin Varia radar light is one of the must items to own. Look it up it’s absolutely brilliant. Great video btw! I’m building up a gravel bike myself and can’t wait to get out on it.
@@PelohunSonder Camino build. 75% done so not too long now and I’ll be ready for the winter mud! The Varia’s are brilliant aren’t they. Wouldn’t ride without one now. I’m a new subscriber so I’m looking forward to watching your videos 👍🏼 ride safe.
Great video but you may not be allowed back into Wales, not because of your pronunciation of place names but because Snowdonia National Park is now Eryri National Park and Snowdon is now officially know as Yr Wyddfa. 😂
Lived in North Wales / Anglesey for 20 years now - wonderful place to ride and some great cafes!
Couldn't agree more!
Great to see you back
Thanks so much and cheers for being here
Great episode, amazing scenery 🚴🏼♀️💨🚴🏼♂️💨
Thanks for watching - such a stunning place!
Good to see you both back on TH-cam. Mtb is amazing riding round that part of Wales.
Thanks so much for bringing here! It’s so beautiful isn’t it!
Wooden bridges always sound so cool, wobbledy clunky dock!
Lovely vid as always - enjoy.
Hahaha they really do. This one felt SO wobbly!

Ahh how is the gravel bike building going? No we do usually use lights - we forgot to pack them. I have a varia too - so brilliant!

Brilliant - been thinking of doing that coastal loop for a while and wasn’t sure what bike to take - gavel/ road ?
Well I’d say gravel will absolutely FLY on it. Especially if you take that gorgeous trail!
I hope you didn't exceed the 20mph limit. We've a long weekend in Dolgellau in a week or two though not with bikes. Beautiful area.
☺️ ahhh so beautiful on bike and off!
Are you going to let us know which gravel events you are planning on? Hopefully will see you in person ❤
Yeasss more to come on that!

Gahhh I know, I know 😂 it will catch on for me. Just got to practice that pronunciation to not disrespect the mountains 😂
