I can’t imagine growing up in these times people trying to constantly brainwash you telling you boys can be girls and girls can be boys that’s enough right there to ruin generations of kids.
I hate people who downplay what people have gone through. Every generation has had its rough patches. We shouldn’t have to compete who went through worse.
In full agreement, Especially since there are those actively working behind the scenes to create issues for each generation. Incrementally enough to pit us all against each other in order to dismantle the family. It's about power, control, and money.
I mean there is worse alot of people especially in this comment section are very sensitive and think they have it hard. Generations in WW2 etc had it much worse
@trashcan6751 And some have lived more like older ages. Trying to share wisdom. Few have hauled their own water to heat it for baths and dishes, make their own clothes. Each generation has had its struggles and all of us struggle to sone degree. It's not about who has it worse. There are those in background varying to divide us on every issue and level possible to their advantage. Done stagetically each generation to get them against each other and destroy family. Many live in luxury without realizing and take for granted to much time to participate in nonsense. The further we go from growing our own food and learning how to do these things the more dependant we are and we forget more and more each generation.
as a gen z person, i think thats the single handedly biggest issue we are going through, is alot of our parents compare their struggles over ours. Ive seen many many parents now whos children srent very happy because their parents are also miserable, so it just chain reacts down the line, making pur ability to handle all the extra bs around us harder. No hate to anyone btw, my message is basically that we shouldn't be comparing our pains, because that in itself is just causing even greater pain for the younger generations, and i dont want that to spiral even further than its already went
Two things: Don't compare suffering, it's not some kind of contest. Don't gatekeep suffering. Whether previous generations had it worse or not is irrelevant
I was just gonna comment "We are at war" gimme a break I live in finland we share a 1400km border with russia and their capital city is close to that said border. Try that for stress.
It’s not about the present, it’s about the future. And the future is looking pretty grim. I’m thankful to live in America as opposed to a worn-torn country, but the way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re approaching WW3. Plus, it’s just a lot to see anyone be mass bombed and know it’s a product of your government. We can protest, but who knows if we’ll be heard.
I heard a young girl in the bathroom at my work the other day singing a song about having anxiety and it made me so sad, but for some reason something clicked for me in that moment. Kids are so overstimulated by screens and media I’m not at all surprised that they have crazy chemical imbalances! I see kids being pushed around in strollers with phones and tablets in their hands. These kids are given personal laptops by their schools to do all their work on. We aren’t made to be interacting with technology constantly. And we wonder why we can’t get them to concentrate for two seconds in class? We did this to ourselves
My family was just discussing this. The age of instant gratification and constant stimulation must lead to some type of chemical imbalance in the mind and it's screwing everyone up.
We’re talking serious problems here. Like really bad, this is a thing and it won’t stop till it all collapses. It’s a good thing tho. It’ll be like a flood. I’m in the bathtub right now where are y’all at?🛁
This is why I never really blamed the kids. Kids are very impressionable and if the parents make it seem okay and right to do then the child will likely believe the same. This is why I think children shouldn’t have any devices until maybe high school at the very least.
Remember when all the pediatric doctors were telling us to limit screen time for our kids? Yeah. We were enrolling our kids in school in VA and they had to have physicals. Doctor did the whole "limit screen time" speech and I laughed and told her the school issues each student a Chromebook. Also funny (in a "damn that's sad" way): my daughter had to wait for her Chromebook cuz we moved mid semester. She's in honors algebra and the teacher says not to worry about doing the work until she gets her Chromebook. Daughter is bored so she does the assignment longhand. Writes it all out. Teacher is shocked she knows how to do that as NONE OF HER STUDENTS could. They simply imput the numbers into the equation and hit the button. Public schools are in trouble, folks. (We moved from MT to VA and I was shocked that the quality of education was better in our little school than one of the highest rated High Schools in Richmond)
Gen Z here, 22, living alone. Rent started at $1000, over the last few years has moved to nearly $1500. Havent moved, 1 bedroom apartment, expensive go up with no pay increase, and no reflection of why its going up. just going up. Gen Z has been handed a shit show and there's no explanation about it. we just deal with it, or like some their parents deal with it for them.
Gen Z here. Read Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad. And please, stop buying crap you didn't need. You don't need things to prove that you're good enough. You just need to be sensible, responsible and loving yourself. And try to learn how to cook, ofc, remember safety measures and be grateful that we are alive.

Millennial here. Gen Z is super stressed. Also stressful. I had a red beard and a smattering of gray in my hair until I started teaching Gen Z. A couple years in the classroom with them, and now people ask if I want the senior discount!
While this is true. It doesn't explain why this is happening on a mass scale. A lot of millennials looked younger than a lot of Gen Z. I'm 30 and still look 18. I get told that all the time when I get IDed. I started doing hard drugs at 13 and only quit about 6 months ago. It was mainly opiates and cocaine, but still that should've noticeably aged me and didn't. Make me think there's more at play here. No idea what exactly, but it is strange.
@@WeekndWarriorrr It can possibly be either unknown affects of microplastics we're just seeing or the effects of less and less nutrients in the soils. The mineral content in vegetation has significantly dropped (about 35%) since 1995. Add that with an already inflammatory diet that most young people already consume (fast food, microwaved bunk like instant noodles) and you get cells breaking down faster than they can regenerate.
I think the full beard and flannel shirt are adding to people thinking you are older than you are. I know when I shave off my beard I look a lot younger.
I'd actually argue it's the heavy drug and alcohol abuse, too much empty sex since a very young age and various cosmetic procedures among many other things rather than fabricated stress. As a Millennial who grew up in a war torn country through the late 90s and early 00s I fail to see how wars and genocide that are going on actually affect most American and/or Western teens that seem to be complaining about this. If anything the incredibly comfortable lives without actual problems most of them have lead to increasingly stupid and self-destructive behavior patterns and getting too invested and overly stressed by things that have nothing to do with them. Not climate change, as some might argue while sipping a 17$ starbucks cup that they'll throw or leave somewhere while complaining how tired they are and how bad their circles under their eyes are after not sleeping for no other reason than being up all night on the internet or partying.
I'm glad someone is saying this. I belong to a country that's "third world" as well thanks to all the wars and displacement of people. Life here is definitely a challenge and we still look our age.
Also, not to mention the stress of literally not being able to afford anything at all and the fact that I, and many others, are lonely because dating is miserable and exhausting with people being too far gone on either side.
You say that as if stores charge high prices for your generation and it’s free for everyone else. Biden sucks, but even he isn’t that bad. When people are hyperbolic like that, it makes him a sympathetic figure. That’s how Trump won: because Democrats did the same to him.
I agree with you. However millennials and Gen Z are in the same boat. Neither generation will experience the prosperity and home ownership rates that our parents and grandparents had. I graduated HS in '08 and entered adulthood amid the great recession, the housing crisis and a world in which interest rates were rapidly being set against the proletariat class. The way things are going each successive generation is going to enter the real world with a steeper hill to climb than the generations preceding it unless many things change for the better.. and fast.
@@mackenziej8980 Gen Z was the least affected by that. It hit the elderly the hardest. There was zero reason for Gen Z to be stressed about that. My biggest complaint about that generation is they whine about things as if it’s only happening to their generation and no one else and they whine about having to do things that every generation before them did. They’re so self centered in general. Not in a selfish way, but they act like no one aside from them exists and they are the center of the universe.
Facts. When I turned 40 last year, people I've spent years working with AND WHO KNEW I RETIRED FROM THE MILITARY were shocked to realize I wasn't in my late 20s early 30s. Blows my mind.
Same. Had to show my ID up to 30 to prove I'm allowed to purchase tobacco and alcohol, that's over now but I'm still not believed my true age or that I cover a growing amount of white hair😂
I retired from the Marine Corps in 2015. I went back to Camp Pendleton and the young bucks thought I was some Col / C.O. Civvie ladies think I’m 32/34 years old….hey, that’s all good, they need some “PT” too and I’m not married…..👍🏻. I’m turning 45, got six pack abs and an easy life
People always thought I was in my 30s when I was in my 40s. It caught up when I hit my 50s and I pretty much look 50. Enjoy the youthful look while you can because age does hit sooner or later (unless you use fillers and plastic surgery).
Brett reacting to Jordan really made my day because in my personal opinion, they have some similar qualities and ideas on stuff. She should do more reactions to Jordan. That’d make my day even more❤
I'm gen X. The younger generations definitely have it worse than we did. They got things to contend with that didn't even exist when we were young. We were one of the last generation to have a strong sense of self, most of us knew who and what we are. Nodays the younger generations are constantly bombarded with things that make them doubt who and what they are. What the world is attempting to do to us and our youth is apaulling. Imagine being young and trying to grow into who u are all while being influenced by those that don't even know who tf they are. I have much compassion for our youth, and it's about time we stop knocking em and lead by examples of action in how we carry ourselves and the way we interact with one another.
Thanks for saying this. I agree. That’s the biggest problem with the younger generations (I’m Gen Z) we have no sense of self, but we think we do😢. I’m realizing that that is the most valuable thing you can have in this world. Not money not fame… Having a strong connection to who you are is priceless. I’m working on it so I don’t feel so lost and anxious all the time.
That's the neat part ~ you don't. Your generation, the generation of my parents, weren't taught the 'whys' of life by their parents, why things are moral or immoral, why things matter. When my Mother tried to ask questions, like why seeing a psychic is bad (Catholic), she was treated as a nuisance, for example. The effect was your generation cherry picked what you liked from what you were given, as you were not taught the value of any of it. Yet you did not know the value of what each of you discarded, and my generation being left with what was cherry picked for us rejected the partial truths we were offered, but in many cases not even given. (I.e., parents foregoing their duties in educating their children, 'they'll decide for themselves when they are older', etc.) Of course, generalizations. My Mother pursued her Faith and a relationship with our Lord, always going to Holy Mass every week, and she gave that to me sparing nothing. And I am grateful every day for it. Deo grátias. I am 27 and despite my Father having chosen not to be apart of my life, to my benefit, I am slowly learning what it really means to be a man, and thus my nature as a sacrificial provider. Each of us can help make this world a little better to live in, and I for one want to help reclaim societal identity by reclaiming my own, and pursuing holiness. Too often I am selfish with my Lord, Who has done so much for me and moved me to tears so many times, so great have I felt His love, forgiveness, compassion. He really has been my Father throughout my life, even when I had strayed so far from Him.
Younger millennials is just literally gen z my eldest brother looks 17 people often mistake him still at school with me he’s not he already got 2 children😂

Yes. The Great Generation, or whatever they are called certainly had it. And stress that directly impacted their lives, whether they read the news or not. (Saying this as a millennial who didn't learn how to handle stuff well either.)
Yeah but not every generation is dragging their own dead weight barely surviving on a day to day basis, older people will always be the most entitled and braindead people on this dumpsterfire of a planet.

The thing people forget when talking about generations is while things DO have a different impact on you when you're different ages, this doesn't ONLY affect the young more (the old are affected more, too), but also, that people OF ALL AGES who are still alive are going to the same things. I think it more depends on the person and how they take things and what they make of things. That's true no matter the generation.
Us millennials think being independent adults is hard (it is), it’s even harder for the younger adults. Every year that goes by it’s harder to earn enough to make a living. Problems aren't getting bigger. We live in the most peaceful and prosperous time in history. The rate of home ownership is higher than it was 70 years ago. There aren't more problems, they're just amplified. You didn't hear about every robbery, every rape or every murder even 30 years ago. Now they're blasted on social media. There aren't more train de-railments than there were two years ago, but the one big one got clicks. So now every train de-railment gets blasted on social media. It's the same for everything else. If you don't constantly look for it, you don't notice it. That means it isn't happening more often. If crime was as high as the media wants you to think it was everywhere, you'd have experienced it by now. Most likely, you haven't, because violent crime rates are *still* down from 30 years ago even with the increase during the WuFlu
thank you, gosh I see too many comments stating their struggles as if the problems of today aren’t getting even worse, it’s disheartening the lack of empathy I’m receiving as an 18 year old young adult walking into an economy where everyone around me is absolutely hopeless (my positively only stems from me being more determined amongst all else) It’s as if our issues, even the ones a lot of people don’t agree with like gender, identity, race; a slew of issues coming from those things alone, and we’re just called “weird,” I have empathy to those who feel the NEED to even go through things like that It’s as if our generation has been taught suffering in so many different areas is normal, it’s normalized, and that we’re all just a bunch of messed up weirdos with no hope for the future. But no.. no, the damn majority of the population; our parents, our teachers will bat an eye to us and label us as problems, as if we didn’t live in a cold world already. All in all, it’s a breath of fresh seeing someone who decided to take a look at the new generations and understand that we have a whole new and scary world of struggle ahead. I can appreciate the fact that it is at least noticed, even if it is likely to only get worse.

It depends on the individual. Some individuals have more youthful features and facial structure, while those of others may be more mature-looking. This has always been the case, so I’m not sure as to why people are acting as if this is a new concept. Perhaps it is because people are doing their makeup or growing facial hair to appear as a more mature-looking individual, but that was always been the case as well. The only reasonable claim is that we are more exposed to mature-looking individuals on social media, as that is what the algorithms push, thus, our brains associate that look with being normal as opposed to the faces of those around us, even though the natural mature look is more likely to be the minority. To that one millennial commenter; the Iraq war was formally declared to end in 2011 and the US withdrew from Afghanistan in 2021. Additionally, a portion of Gen Z was alive during 9/11, hurricane Katrina, and hurricane Sandy. Even if an individual was young, they still experienced the implications of these events.
Don’t forget school shootings, I know I was never too worried but had friends who were terrified something would happen especially in a state that had a lot of them unfortunately
@@sevironside4073 ~ Yep! When I was in highschool , we got a threat one morning, and I frantically texted all of the people I knew, even if it was just from a class project, telling them not to go to school. Apparently, the school knew of the threats the previous week, yet decided not to inform the students. It was absurd.
@@alyssarose2818 it’s definitely had an effect on a lot of us. When I was in college in Europe the university had a bomb threat called in during finals week. That beard is what makes him look old. He chose to look that way. The bearded hipster look, which you might still see among some millennials, is now fairly ingrained among the Gen Zers that can pull it off. I guess it's just really popular to have that "grounded" and more earthy look. I mean, advertising used to be geared so much towards a clean shave in the 90s. Now, it's all about beard maintenance, leaving clean shaving for those that can't have one.
It's also because he has a wrinkly forehead. I'm 34 and have that same forehead with the deep lines (got it from my dadda) so I have a full fringe (or "bangs") and I get mistaken for my 15yo sons sister as the rest of my complexion is good and I have no grey hair or crows feet.
A beard is a sign of manhood. And it’s really one of the few things that separates us from women. There’s spiritual meaning behind growing a beard too but here in the West that’s not a huge focal point.
Not to mention the whole 2020 & 2021 stuff. That really set us back, luckily I finished school years before 2020. But my little sister and her friends really got screwed over with the online schooling. Even me, i feel like Im missing 2 years of mt life, and everything has gone by sooo quick since then. My parents married and had a family at 23-24. My age now, and I feel sooo behind, even though I'm really not. Im 24 and never went to a bar or parties or anything, cause everything was all closed or got bankrupt since 2020-2021. Now im in my mid 20s and dont care about thay stuff, but still, it feels like I missed out on all the "young 20s stuff" the previous generations had. Its like I skipped the young adult period and went straight to adult.
At 24, there's still time for bars and clubs, lol. I would say clubs and raves are the thing you wanna do before you hit 30. Bars are around for any age. In fact, once you get over 30, going to sophisticated bars, speakeasies, wineries, and craft breweries, is a much more satisfying experience than clubbing. Speakeasies are very laid back, like a college bar. But definitely do the club thing before you're 30. Its very fun, especially out with friends, dancing to the latest music.
Funny thing is I’m 24 here too and I’ve not done any of that. Though only thinking about things like that will make you feel even older for missing out stuff, even though it’s not late and it’s not end of the world imo. But I would suggest just doing it and get to doing whatever you want to do in life already honestly. Life is about living how you want so it doesn’t hurt to take a risk and try sometime. I keep having the same missing out feelings because my parents also married when they were 18-20 so I keep thinking about having someone and marriage but in my case I’m just working on myself right now.
I had the mental age of 20 at 12 and at 20,my mental energy is dead. It's not my fault, there is just too much to know, keep up with and do. Both relevant and irrelevant😅
There is an extreme gap in mental maturity most of gen z has a faster developing mental age due to new parenting techniques and the world going to shit on them, A few days ago some kids at my school had cocaine and got arrested, we are an extremely mature and immature generation divided between hopelessness and selfishness
Nah I think we're aging faster mentally. I mean we kinda have to, it's not easy to stay a carefree optimistic kid when everywhere you look things are being destroyed and there's nothing you can do about it.

The lost generation, the greatest generation, and the silent generation had it worst. Sickness, disease, the First World War, the roaring 20s, the Great Depression, World War Two, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Korean War, the start of the Cold War, the Vietnam war, and the end of the Cold War. My grandma (54) told me that in her school she would have things called fallout shelters just in case the Soviet Union (or what is now Russia) would drop a nuclear bomb or weapon on the United States. I live in Jackson, Mississippi, and like 180 miles away from my house is an air base called Barksdale Air Force Base, in Shreveport, Louisiana. During the Cold War the United States needed a strategic bomber that could run missions for extended periods of time, so, they made the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress. Which is stationed at Barksdale. Plus, depending on where you were in the Second World War, you had to worry about whether an axis country (Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, and Fascist Italy) would attack the allied powers (United States, Great Britain, Soviet Union, France, and China) at any given moment. Just like Japan did when they bombed Pearl Harbor. I know every generation has its pros and cons but the 3 generations listed above had it worst in my opinion.
All I'm hearing is that Gen Z is even more susceptible to eating up the governments garbage about how the world is ending. They just used to have less effective fear tactics.
Which is fair, if people are mentally manipulating you- it is fair to have stress There's things that are silently ruining people and often times it can be a monster of it's own. For example- loneliness is seen as a stupid thing to be broken about. Though if you care for a baby without the social aspect they will just die according to a study forever ago to figure out what the human's first language was.
@@olivebre4170 maybe, but one would be disallusioned to think that life has ever been easy, for anyone, ever. New generation, new issues. That is how it goes.

Millennials not only had 9-11, bullying was an even bigger problem, our parents were boomers who believed in tough love rather than soft parenting, we had ebola and mad cow disease, everyone thought they were a gangsta rapper, so there were tons of fights in school, mental illness was never talked about or even considered, etc. Then we STILL had to go through everything Gen Z is going through with Covid, political division, phone addiction, etc. Let's just say that all generations go through huge problems. Let's stop the competition and love each other.
The difference is that we (millennials) had to figure things out in the moment rather than see things in the distance with even time to stress. We are the sink or swim generation that just had to learn "f it, lets just get this over with" and didn't have time to stress. Also we're aging slower because nicotine and the sun also age people pretty harshly. The majority of us spend all our time inside because we're broke so the sun is out, and we were the first generation to not really care for cigarettes, and vaping wasn't "cool" for us so most of us missed that too so nicotine aging is out.

This is the first time they have had to deal with real ongoing stress I feel for them it’s stressful but we millennials have been going through all kinds of wars and domestic attacks and recessions so we just know how to cope a bit better. Every generation has gone through stuff. I'm Gen X and have a list too. We went through the Cold War with the threat of nuclear war between the former Soviet Union and US, saw the Challenger explosion live on TV at school, the Mt. St. Helen eruption in Washington state in 1980 (about the same type of eruption as Vesuvius that buried Pompeii & Herculaneum in Italy in 79 AD, 9-11 (this hit closer to home because I live in NY state...we were all effected, etc. I admit the last few years of fighting against hate from the far Left, censorship, and trying to keep democracy alive has been the most stressful thing I've dealt with in recent years, though. Christian hate is on the rise with mass shootings, but all we hear about is antisemitism and Islamophobia (a problem too). But I'm not hearing about mass shootings in synagogues and mosques. Just threats and hateful graffiti. ALL religions are under attack & they are trying to divide us.
It’s only stressful if you pay attention to them. A lot of things that are stressful to people nowadays don’t have anything to do with them on a personal level. Pick and choose what to stress on and you’ll be fine. There are too many things in life to stress on, so don’t make the mistake of stressing on all of them at once.
Exactly. And, if you are stressed, use it to your advantage like I do. I just deep clean when I’m stressed. Putting the stress to work instead of dwelling on it has definitely helped me.
I think this is an important thing to do. With access to so much bad news and crisis around the world people are addicted to paying attention and worrying about everything
Thing is, I look at all the old people around me & see how ignorant & apathetic they are to modern problems & I actively do not want to become like them. I can’t just “ignore” things that are literally reshaping the world I live in every day just because they’re gonna stress me out. Personally, I think if you’re not taking the time to learn about the world & care about the strangers living in it alongside you, you’re doing something wrong. Empathy is not your enemy.

You say that as if stores charge high prices for your generation and it’s free for everyone else. Biden sucks, but even he isn’t that bad. When people are hyperbolic like that, it makes him a sympathetic figure. That’s how Trump won: because Democrats did the same to him.
I think that's what they meant be "inflation".
Absolutely right!
I'm 53 and feel genuinely sorry for gen Z!
Good luck because you're gonna need it
As a millennial thank you 😭
That's the neat part ~ you don't.
(I.e., parents foregoing their duties in educating their children, 'they'll decide for themselves when they are older', etc.)
Of course, generalizations.

You are shamed for acting your age
Kids are the example of being the worst anything with a few exception to things like "child like innocence" and even that is spat at in another angle to the point if you some how are happy and content with life despite the horrors you're a child to everyone and no one takes you seriously.
I mean we’ve certainly lost tween third places.
Imagine trying to start a life outside of your parents home for the first time the way things are right NOW. Not only is living more expensive, but people aren’t as close as they used to be, and a lot of younger people really don’t have the village support older generations had.
That’s why you work really hard and become valuable to the company you work for, then demand that they increase your wage by a lot more within at least a month. If they don’t, leave, and chew out all the old fuckers, tell them they don’t value hard work, tell them their generation is weak and filled with liars and hypocrites, and go elsewhere. On top of that you’ll need side hustles and you’ll need to work on your own terms, create scaleable businesses, etc. On top of that start working out and start learning to fight and you’ll make it
The money from inflation is already printed and big corporations are gonna be the first to get it, billions, if not trillions of dollars all going to the rich men who own big corporations and want to use you for profit while you slowly accept shittier lifestyles and less pay as they grow richer.

But no.. no, the damn majority of the population; our parents, our teachers will bat an eye to us and label us as problems, as if we didn’t live in a cold world already.

His forehead lines are primarily what make him look so much older lol. If those weren’t so pronounced we wouldn’t look 20 years older.
Jordan got Brett with that "come here" 😅
Not to mention the whole 2020 & 2021 stuff.
Did older people not go through this too?
Funny thing is I’m 24 here too and I’ve not done any of that. Though only thinking about things like that will make you feel even older for missing out stuff, even though it’s not late and it’s not end of the world imo. But I would suggest just doing it and get to doing whatever you want to do in life already honestly. Life is about living how you want so it doesn’t hurt to take a risk and try sometime. I keep having the same missing out feelings because my parents also married when they were 18-20 so I keep thinking about having someone and marriage but in my case I’m just working on myself right now.
Not going to clubs means you missed young adulthood?😭 Your tripping bruh
Ben couldn’t fight the urge to spit more facts

Ben has transitioned 😅
Gen Z seem to be physically aging twice as fast as previous generations, but mentally they are aging twice as slow
Something like that
@@Nugget-1987 I mean I think the suicide rate in Gen Z/Alpha speaks for itself about how high some of our mental ages are 😅
Nah I think we're aging faster mentally. I mean we kinda have to, it's not easy to stay a carefree optimistic kid when everywhere you look things are being destroyed and there's nothing you can do about it.
We should really maintain hope for the future and keep the power in our hands. That’s the best way forward
One thing not listed: Assuming the worst possible outcome or motive for everything. THAT will stress you to no end.
Yeah everyone can benefit from not sweating the small stuff
When I shaved my beard off people think I’m barely 30 when I’m actually about to hit 50. It’s not a generational thing… you get out what you put in.
Exactly! People making fun of Gen Z just show how immature they are.
I’m 22 and can confirm that social media has definitely fucked us up real bad, alongside those quarantine years
Plandemic was stupid but thank god that moronic time is all behind, only thing it affected really was outside travel, and going to restaurants and bars
@@thesurvivalist8488 you're speaking for yourself then, cuz it wasn't that simple for everyone
@@parusyte i dont know about other countries but in finland it wasnt really that bad, fuel was cheap and lot of mask psychosis in public transit and in the news, people couldnt really go abroad so they instead went to national parks and wilderness areas. Just before ukraine war they talked a lot about vaccines and etc crap but just when the war started in ukraine that shit went away like a fart in the wind. Kinda put things in a new perspective.
@@thesurvivalist8488 ohh I was referring to the mental health consequences of those quarantine years and how some of those effects still carry on to this day, cuz the actual experience of living through the lockdown precautions wasn’t so bad for me since I had a gf at the time. Yea it messed up my Junior and Senior years of highschool
People will stress over crap they cant change and i dont understand it at all. Live your life and ignore the bs.
All I'm hearing is that Gen Z is even more susceptible to eating up the governments garbage about how the world is ending. They just used to have less effective fear tactics.
Which is fair, if people are mentally manipulating you- it is fair to have stress
There's things that are silently ruining people and often times it can be a monster of it's own.
@@ipoopd right, which is where the backlash comes from because the old generation wants to play it like Gen Z has no issues. I'm all up for the reasoning that it doesn't matter- man I agree we need to stop talking about generations and just realize that every individual has their own plate. Not chill with people acting like things aren't just in general rough and entirely to easy not to see the other's struggle. That is how we got the gender war
Easier to believe the world is getting worse when the country has been getting continually worse our entire lives
I watch that man a ton, when he said he was also gen z I was legitimately shocked.
He’s been living an unhealthy lifestyle but of course, people will refused to take responsibility. No one who lives a healthy lifestyle is gonna look way older than they actually are unless they have some rare medical condition.
I am not legally allowed to move out but I sure as hell look like it. When I was 13 people thought I could drive (I can just not on the roads) and not like *in old lady voice* “Oh look how much you have grown!” Like “Oh hey what car do you drive?” or “Have you gotten tickets?” I was 13! Not 16 💀🤣😭
The crossover I didn't know I needed
Attitude/outlook when faced with stress will also greatly affect how impactful that stress will actually be. Thinking positively ages you slower both from a physical standpoint, and an internal standpoint (as in, optimists live longer than pessimists). Course, I say this as an “ignore the stress/realistic” type. 😂
I'm 60 and look 45.
Have zero stress because don't give a F#ck about anything anymore and have no kids to worry about.

The older generations are also going through everything the younger generations are going through.
Now that's an actual defense
“Climate change is real, but only for our generation”-Gen Z🤡🤡🤡
Millennials not only had 9-11, bullying was an even bigger problem, our parents were boomers who believed in tough love rather than soft parenting, we had ebola and mad cow disease, everyone thought they were a gangsta rapper, so there were tons of fights in school, mental illness was never talked about or even considered, etc.
Then we STILL had to go through everything Gen Z is going through with Covid, political division, phone addiction, etc.
Let's just say that all generations go through huge problems. Let's stop the competition and love each other.
Millennials are also children of GenX. If their parents are Boomers, they were old parents
@@skecchi3201And blue light. Even if you're stuck inside, blue light will age you as fast as the sun without the benefits. Gen Z raised on that shite.

It’s so true we do look younger. gen z isn’t used to stress. Most of the past stuff happened when they weren’t even born yet or really young. This is the first time they have had to deal with real ongoing stress I feel for them it’s stressful but we millennials have been going through all kinds of wars and domestic attacks and recessions so we just know how to cope a bit better. This has literally been happening our whole lives 🙃🙃🙃
Dang, you’re absolutely right!
Completely agree. Also, gen z needs to laugh more. The few that work in my office are constantly stressing over things like their shoes not being the right color of blue (or something this silly). Like, relax, laugh lol

Life is hard. It always will be no matter what generation you’re from. It’s hard to be broke and it’s hard to generate wealth. It’s hard to be in shape and it’s hard to be fat. Choose the hard that works for you.
You have some good wisdom there. Keep at it.
@@THIRTYNINEXYes, this.
Sticking your head in the sand is what got us into this mess in the first place, the apathetic are the easiest to control
