    Thanks for the great video. At 14:18 you say that the values of the simulations cannot be compared to experimental results. Why is that? Please explain that statement. Thanks again.

      I made 10 videos playlist on Ansys Fluent. Then I made 10 videos playlist on OpenFOAM.
      Now I again plan to make 2nd playlist of 10 videos on Ansys Fluent. So sit tight. Lot of new Ansys Fluent videos are on their way.

    Dear Sir, I have one question about the in inlet and outlet boundary conditions. The molten salt enter a pipe with 5m lenght and 20mm diameter and 500k . The pipe is made of stainless steel. The heat flux is 800,000kW/m2. So how much should be the inlet flow rate up to we receive the outlet tempereture 800K. It will be highly appreciated when you guide e the boundary conditions in inlet and outlet in such a case. Thank you.

    • @cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972
      @cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello. It is not so straightforward to calculate. However, you can get the inlet flow rate by doing some trial runs. You can create a CAD model for your pipe and apply the above-mentioned boundary conditions for temperature and heat flux in ANSYS. However, you should at least know the velocity or flow rate at the outlet. Then you can use pressure inlet and velocity outlet boundary conditions to run the simulation. After calculation is complete, the software will give you values for velocity or flow rate at inlet.

    Hi, thanks for the video. There might be a problem defining water as the fluid inside the pipe. You selected water in the "Materials" section. Still, you didn't choose it in the "Cell Zone Conditions" section. So, the fluid inside the pipe is the air, not water.
