I get those dry clutches are supposed to be better but I think I'd give up the small gains on the dry clutch just so I wouldn't have to hear that lol I'd be constantly looking around thinking something is broken with it making sounds like that😂

Quick question about all of your bikes. I have several bike and plan on adding an 1199 or 1299 to my squadron. I really can’t justify having another bike, but… Do you have a favorite? Is there a bike that pretty much sits there looking nice? Do you have something extra for an out of town family member / friend who rides with you when they visit?
Finally the 1199R gets to stretch its legs! For Daily riding which would you go witb ib? 1199 or 1299? Im on a 959 but wanting to upgrade in a few years.
I owned both the 1199 and 1299 at the same time. The 1299 was much better to ride daily. It still gets warm but it is much more compliant and easy to ride.
I'm surprised you went through two engines. Can you share a little more about the failures on them? Been shopping 1199Rs but am also cross shopping V4s and 1299s
The 1199R engine is a pure race engine. It's not designed to be held at wide open throttle for miles. That's what I was doing with my bike and it caused the engine to blow pistons and rods. The 1299s engine can handle wide open throttle and hasn't broken yet. The V4 engine is greatly improved and you'll enkoibit the most.
@@650ib I'm surprised it struggled with sustained high RPM being an homologation special but fair enough. Have to decide if it's going to be 1299 or V4. Both have merits that are very attractive. The v4 engine is probably the best sounding and most exciting but the torque and midrange of the 1299 is alluring as well. Thank you for the response! Cheers.

Why are the handle bars/clip ons sticking out soo much? Is the bike really that narrow/slim/skinny? The fairing designs and size of the width looks to be so small for a over a litre bike! Its like a 250cc/300cc bike looking from the front 🤔😮😮

To be honest,The new generation of the Ducati super bike is too smooth ,even up set the engine power to full mode ，can only make yourself to get bored , Unlike the oldies , which the whole accelerate process is just like sitting on a wild tough beast to makes you feel high
Bro H2R is not street legal and a lot slower in real world, its a cruiser and can only go fast in straight line and thats it. V4 Superleggera was faster in Losail track than H2R by 20 WHOPPING SECONDS.

Yes, I kinda abused my 1199R engine Mate. I've held it wide open throttle in 6th gear for 2 miles before.
