It's amazing more and more people literally every day who come into LUXE Electric Car, and intend on buying a new golf car, only to use around their community. Taking the kids to school, running errands and even doing some shopping...It's been fun to see it evolve over the past 20+ years.
Golf Carts can be pricey, I got mine for $5000 from SWFL Golf Carts a year ago but its worth every penny. I not only take it to golf courts but for drives in my neighborhood or to run errands! Interesting video
You can't use a custom golf cart on most golf courses, certainly none of my area of SW Florida, so, there's that. However for putzing around your community areas where allowed sure add to that in FL 35 MPH roads with street legal carts. It's easy to drop $20K+ on a cart especially with lifted six passenger carts and lithium batteries etc.
I think a golf carts price is merry vanity. Just like eye glasses that cost 6k when it’s the lenses that really do the work. I never pay more what anything is worth. A golf cart with a roof headlamps, turn signals, brake turn lights and seats four. I like gas over electric. No fancy paint, no radio, no ball washers. Just a reasonable point A, B , to C type cart.

Megan's Garage - thanks for catching me. We just shot an updated version for this question, 2022 and the starting price for a LUXE Electric Golf cart is 13,000. This is what we call golf ready...and no additional fees, like dealer prep, delivery or inland freight charges, which collectively can add up to thousands...so beware of the 9,999 prices...they often do not have these extra fees associated.
Your unsolicited advertisement is a turn off . Will steer away from Luxe for sure. Give the consumers the info and let them decide. We all know the difference between basic and upgrade. Your sales pitch will not bring me to your showroom for sure.
bought a 1984 ez-go marathon $1,300 put $3,000 into it -New batteries, new tires, new LED lights And a bunch of other cool stuff. Customized it myself. use it just cruising the neighborhood going to the park ,dog park the lake.it's more than paid for itself.if you're spending money like this guy wants you to your crazy-wasting your money.hey,maybe you got money to waste.
Gary, 100% agree, except now the mid level car prices are so high, a nicely equipped electric golf car, we are seeing by many of our customers, as the option they choose. With a lithium powered cart, with all the street legal requirements and speeds up to 32 mph, its a perfect substitution, while saving 10's of thousands of dollars!
If you live in a place like The Villages (Florida) a golf cart is pretty much the rule; unless one is driving a long distance (or outside) of The Villages "bubble"
Great question...pre-covid and supply chain issues and prices for everything going through the roof, these were the prices. And they were what we referred to as golf ready 2 passenger electric golf carts.

Know if you're staying with a 2 passenger, fully decked out and it's a LUXE Custom, one could spend between 20-30,000
