Also at those huge tractor, farming, gatherings meets on mile after mile of display items, these carts are the only way to go. I just bought one of these and I Love it! One question.....do you know what a 2E error code is and what causes it. I have gotten that code a few times and then the golf cart stops. I have to turn it off and on again to get it to go.
Hey Roy! Congrats man! I’m not sure what that means. Haven’t seen it. Does it reference that in the manual? Wonder if it is a seat belt thing? Keep us posted!
@@JoeTheFarmer Thanks for answering so quickly! I looked it up in the manual and a 2E code is "Drive 7 output overcurrent". I don't know what would cause it.
As a guy that would use this for semi-all terrain use the only thing I saw that jumped out at me was the double USB ports that were surface up mounted low on the body and near the sides...how will those perform after a drenching rain when someone accidently left the plugs out? Also as others have mentioned...the test dummies never got it off the blacktop or they would have added edging to prevent the rattling...Overall seems impressive!
The usb’s are plugged pretty tight; but right. A solid rain in there and then what. I have fixed a lot of the rattles and will keep tweaking it but no engine noise is a big deal. The camera also picks up the rattles far worse than they sound in person; but fair is fair. It rattles on a rough and bumpy farm. Regardless, built very well and I have seen far worse for twice the price. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@JoeTheFarmer I checked and all I see is a connector for the rear lights. I have the newer model where the charger is built in. I'm not sure if you have the same model or not.
@daviddavis9025 mine is the first gen, but have said the same to others and they said it worked. Put some ear plugs in, throw it in reverse and unplug it. If the beeping stops you got it! Lol.
We have had our Racka for 6 weeks now. Very nice cart and super quiet. How do you disconnect the reverse switch and which inside front basket did you purchase?
Subscribed! Thank you for the great video coverage. I cannot seem to find that same cart for sale? I would buy one just like this one, 4 wheel Disc brakes, turn signals & 25 MPH. Just not seeing any RACKA's out there to match same product???
Hey! It's a nice cart, but a new one is coming out shortly that you may want to look at. These are sold is select Tractor Supply stores and it is nearly identical to the Coleman carts. Same manufacturer. Hope that helps!
@@JoeTheFarmer, thank you sir! Due to lack of finding that cart, I found & bought the 2024 Revolution D5 Ranger and so far I’m very happy with it. Thanks for reaching out though!👍🏼
Love the review, but can’t find this cart or any Racka brand on the Tractor Supply website. Any help? Do you have a link for this vehicle at Tractor Supply?
No link buddy but it will be rolling out. Limited stores have it now but more will get it. Others have asked their store manager to get one and its gotten there pretty fast. Appreciate you watching my friend!
Boy I loved to get a 6 or 8 seater I know I would love e gold cart but it’s probaly very very illegal in the Portland Oregon area where I live top speed 25 mph damn to bad it isn’t higher
@@JoeTheFarmer I mean my area it’s to big so to be regrister it would have to go 30 35 maybe even 40 for me just to go to the movie and I want to go somewhere needing the highway it wouldn’t work anyways
Hey! Too big for the back of a pickup. Its full size for sure. Wouldn’t have an issue climbing a ramp at all! Check out recent side by side comparison video and you’ll see it going up a steep hill!
That's a nice looking cart! We've been hunting out of a golf cart for years on our property. They're great! My only issue is the kids taking it out when it isn't charged enough and getting stranded on the back side of the property. 😂
I am around golf carts all the time we have them around our campground. The name brand units are getting expensive like $10 to 14K, I think $8K is too expensive for a battery operated gocart, but nonetheless used carts are fetching $4,5,6K its really ridiculous to spend that kind of money on something so rudimentary. Just my thoughts items are just becoming unaffordable buying something like this requires a person to consider the benefits before laying down $8K.
I think those are all fair points my friend. Things are getting crazy. But competitively speaking this cart is really nice and half the price of most side by sides. Thanks for watching!
I totally agree. I think that what people are willing to pay for a toy car makes no sense when one can buy a decent used vehicle that is way more comfortable, safe and capable for less money.
Depending on elevation be sure to check on how the machine will work in higher altitudes. I have heard of some folks on tall mountains needing to make adjustments to their machine. If not that high, then no big deal.
@@JoeTheFarmer we have a neighbor that can make it with his side by side but his machine is the equivalent to a 4 door. We need a side by side (2 seater) with a dump bed and a 4X4. We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter.
Yes!!! It is tucked under the rear drivers side tire. Next to the electric motor. I am SO glad it’s disconnected now! Lol. Let me know if you have any trouble on it.
looks ok for the price point, major con is that metal WILL rust as well as the cheap hardware? it would be worth it for the owner to slowly switch all hardware to s/s..... time will tell for issues?? hopefully manf sticks around for warranty issues??
My grandparents just got this golf cart and it's all fine and great. We fixed all the sweeking noises but we cannot figure out how the adjust the headlights for the life of me. It's pointed so up it blinds everyone on the road and the light bar was pointed downward which we fixed. If anyone knows how to fix it, please do. The owners manual doesn't mention any adjustments to the headlight housing.
Glad you all like it! Not sure how or if the headlights can be adjusted but yes, the light bar was simple. Appreciate you watching! I’ll have a 4 mo review out on it this week so hope you will come back. 👍🏼👊🏼
Joe is this 1 wheel, 2 wheel, or 4 wheel drive? I have a Polaris EV 4 whee drive I use for hunting all the time. I also have a Polaris Ranger 1000 gas I use for food plot work etc., but use the EV all the time on the property to reduce my noice as it does not seem nearly as invasive. Thanks, Bob
Hey Bob; that is a great question. I need to figure that out. My guess is one rear wheel but need to confirm. My ev is also 4wd which I have never had to use to get to the stand. But it’s nice to have. Also twice the price! Lol
@rfb7117 well; this is what will be fun about testing this one out. I have a few more videos coming out where it was put through the typical paces. Trying to grab the Racka for everyday chores as opposed to the other machines. No real issues so far other than lack of a true bed. But I wan work around that.
Great video, the cart looks great. I have both a golf cart, 4-wheelers and a Polaris Ranger and the cart gets way more use. I was/am concerned about the quality of this assuming it is chinese made. My Ezgo is still great after 20 years, will this do the same, time will tell, please keep us posted? So I started researching and interesting enough I can't even find this cart anywhere even at TSC. So how hard would it be to get parts and service? I am just reluctant to get an off brand for something that should last a long time and will need service and parts down the road. Keep the great content coming, Good luck
Hey! You sound like me. Plenty of options but the cart seems to be the go to for quick trips. And you are right, the jury is out on how it will stand up over the years. Only time will tell. We plan to be tough on it, and will share the honest results. Appreciate you watching!
@joethefarmer any thoughts on parts or repair? I have scoured the internet. I can not find a parts supplier for these carts. I also contacted the supplier in TX asking about parts via email - Its been radio silence from them for over a week. I like these but thinking down the road for service has me on the fence
It’s basically a Tao cart. Identical to the Coleman. The body just has a different look. There will be tons of parts, they build thousands of these things.
Great questions. No hitch on it but I will likely add one aftermarket. Payload not sure. I wouldn’t think much. It has lots of power for an electric cart, but I wouldn’t put 500lbs on the seat folded over on any golf cart. Couple hundred pounds prob fine. I’ll look and see if there is a payload tag.
Is there a Joe The Farmer discount. Got to love this weather. That is what you meant when you said a golf cart would suit me better. 😂 Always something in the works that's why I enjoy watching your channel.
I have a old gas cart. It uses all most no gas. shuts off on its own every time you stop. So my question is how much $ to keep it fully charged ready to go every day?
Probably not much to be honest. I have used it all day and haven’t been below 70%. If fully depleted it would prob add up. I am going to do a generator test to see how long it takes to charge it with a smaller inverter genny. I am no Bill Nye the science guy, just a dude that geeks out on cool gear.
Totally fair; but honest question would be what will go wrong with an electric cart? Batteries or motor are a possibility or the led display; but they are so simple. I would say look into a service center close to you that honors the warranty before purchasing and that should ease the concern. Thanks for watching John!
When will this be available at TSC, I watched this and then went there. The Sales people had no clue how I could buy one. TSC web site does not show it available.
They are adding new stores but if you ask the manager to order one they will send it to your store. They are usually in store only. What is your local TSC?
That is a cool golf cart, but im the kind of person who would rather find an old golf cart at scrap for $200 then put a 212cc in it for $200 and have a great, fast golf cart for $400!
Totally get that brother. Those of us with the skills can do it; but most people want a nice machine for a good value. Been solid so far. Appreciate you watching!
Great question, I looked for that first thing. It does not. There are after market hitch options out there and zi don’t doubt it could pull a cart behind it. Just haven’t gotten to it yet. Thanks for watching!
Its time to bring out the 15-foot Titan Batwing. Like Golf Cart ; I didn't know that you played golf.... Hope your going well! We get some cooler weather I'm going to start hunting got a trip to Ohio late October!! Are y'all having any problems or new regulation in this CWD?
Don’t really play golf buddy; but I’ll drive a golf cart! Love this weather man. So nice! No real issues on cwd for us yet but sure it’s coming. Good luck out there!
A neighbor drove up in one of these last week - I was gobsmacked with her golf cart! I have been looking for it online but didn’t know the name. I was searching for Badass Golfcart and Big Sexy Golf Cart 😂. Then the TH-cam Algorithm sent me this video. Thank you for posting!
🤣🤣🤣. That algorithm seems to know its business! They are very sharp looking carts and a lot of fun to drive. We have more videos with it making appearances so check those out if you like! Thanks for watching!
I was told the southeast Tractor Supply stores will not get the Racka carts. They will all stay with the Massimo carts through 2024. Have you heard what stores will carry theses?
So, honest question. What service would an electric golf cart need that I cannot do? I have two electric machines on the farm and the only thing that they will need is batteries in the future. Yes grease, diff fluid change, etc. But that’s all super easy. Am I missing something?
@JoeTheFarmer alot of ev golf carts have a switch wit storage in the winter to keep the batters from draining I can find nothing on the racka golf cart
iF YOU PUT A 12v 100 WATT SOLAR PANEL ON THE ROOF OF THE CART AND INSTALL A 30 OR 40 AMP MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER IT WILL KEEP YOUR BATTERIES CHARGED WHEN YOU ARE OUT AN ABOUT.
In my town Raca does cell this at tractor supply but it is two grand more with a turn signal kit horn and a built in sound system and radio on the golf cart and They make a sxs with all the same features with a dump bed and wider with 4x4 for 10 grand windshield and all with half doors with a soun system with a central display that I’m pretty sure has navigation I half to double check that. They’re real competitive in price we will see how reliable they are.
Wait; so you have a Racka cart there and it is $10k? Mine has turn signals and a horn but doesn't have a sound system or radio. I'd love to see a picture of it if so... What store is it?
Hi Joe, The Racka looks like a nice golf cart or LSV (low Speed Vehicle) as they are called. Are you familiar with Evolution? We bought a 2024 Evolution D5 Ranger 2+2, (backseats face the rear) street legal LSV last March. Turned over 400 miles today. It has a 48 volt 110AH lithium battery with built in charger, a 6.3 kw motor with automatic EM parking brake, will do 26mph according to the speedometer and my phone's GPS, 4-wheel disc brakes, 3-point seat belts, 14-inch wheels, radial tires, mud guards, LED running lights, high and low LED headlights, blinkers in front and rear and both side mirrors, tilt steering, a horn, 2 lockable glove boxes plus another dash storage area, storage under the rear seat, 9" color display, Bluetooth, USB charging, FM, and can play from a jump drive and a sound bar that has various colors. I recorded patriotic music and played it (loud) in a July 4th parade on Thursday. It was $11,000 but the price dropped in March to $8,600. We got the one with smooth tires for street use but it is available, lifted with knobby tires. I'm sure the off road model would fit you quite well. Thanks.
TS golf carts are $10k here. So many people worrying about battery carts are just funny. I have had gas and electric carts, and electric is by far the best option. Its just as easy to charge overnight as it is to remember to put gas in your gas cart. The batteries will last 5 years and cost about $700 t9 replace. Tge negative to conparing this to a gas UTV is more about power. I use my UTV to pull trailers, carry big loads of firewood, and assorted other farm tasks. The electric cart doesn't compare for that scenario.
That sounds about like me. I understand the reluctance to adopt electric. But they have come a long way. Racka wanted us to use it on a large property and we have! Haven’t been stranded yet.
@joethefarmer - thank you for your review of the racka. A question or two - how steep of an incline would you estimate your hills to be? It’s difficult to tell from the video. I have one that I will be climbing frequently that is probably 20+ degrees in spots. Also, how would the climb do with a passenger or 2? #joethefarmer
Hey; not sure about the grade but its steep. Its a golf cart, so I would get the tight tool for the job. If traversing hills often, you are going to want a gas motor
See my comment above about our Evolution D5 Ranger 2+2. Now we are on paved roads, but we climb hills that are at least 20 degrees and paved golf cart paths that are greater than that. I've taken another adult, two kids and me (6'2", 240 pounds) with out any issues. We have smooth tires so you might want the knobby tires.
I think you can do with it whatever you like. Charges pretty fast; as for sand and a winch it is not 4wd but within reason it is very capable on the farm so should translate to the beach.
What are YOUR thoughts on the Racka Golf Cart?!?

@@JoeTheFarmer Hi Joe! The 2E error code turned out to be an electrical issue. Tractor Supple exchanged my Golf Cart for a new one!
@roytaylor4578 hey! Sorry to hear you had an issue but great that TSC made it right! Thanks for sharing .
Pretty property!
Thank you JD!
Looks great. Thank u for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Have you done a video where you disable the backup beep? We just bought one yesterday and that thing has to go!
Haven’t done a video. It’s above the rear driver side wheel well. There’s a connector, disconnect that.
Lol.
Had to sub after this video. Awesome cart. Also..man alive what a beautiful property..this is in TN?
Thanks! And yessir. Just outside Nashville. Appreciate ya!!!
How do you disable the reverse beep? Didn’t catch that in video…
Under the rear drivers side wheel well. There’s a harness by the motor. Unplug the harness and you’re good. 👊🏼
We have had our Racka for 6 weeks now. Very nice cart and super quiet. How do you disconnect the reverse switch and which inside front basket did you purchase?
Glad you are enjoying it. Nice cart, especially for the money. Basket link is in our amazon store. Link is attached! www.amazon.com/shop/joethefarmer
@bigdh2os814 congratulations on the new cart! Glad you got what you like!
That looks like so much fun and I love how quiet it is. The fold down rear seat is a plus! You could always put solar panels on the roof. ;-)
Now there’s an idea!!! Endless power
No, than you have to install a charge controller and inverter.
Dang it. Was fun while it lasted. Lol
Can buy an all in one EcoFlow electric generator and their solar panels.
Have had my Racka for month and I love it. I took my golf rack off and lost my bed…want have others used to keep bed up!
That’s awesome! Where do you use it primarily? Neighborhood?
Taking corn to my stands
Awesome!!!
Love your farm
Thank you; we are very grateful to have it. Appreciate you coming along!
Boy I loved to get a 6 or 8 seater I know I would love e gold cart but it’s probaly very very illegal in the Portland Oregon area where I live top speed 25 mph damn to bad it isn’t higher
I believe 25 mph is the cap for low speed vehicles not needing to be registered. Could be wrong. Thanks for watching!!!
@@JoeTheFarmer I mean my area it’s to big so to be regrister it would have to go 30 35 maybe even 40 for me just to go to the movie and I want to go somewhere needing the highway it wouldn’t work anyways
@@JoeTheFarmer you’re welcome
Hello, Have looked and I Tractor Supply does not handle these---Racka RGC1 carts? You got more info???
They are rolling out in limited stores. If you ask your local store manager to get one they can get one. Great cart, especially for the money!
Joe, hope all is well! That is one very nice golf cart, can’t wait to see it decked out for hunting
Whats up Joe!!! Hope all is well brother. Thanks for watching. Yeah; it’s pretty set up as is but I’ll add a few small touches. 😉👍🏼
@@JoeTheFarmer can’t wait to see!! Hope you have a great week.
@joesoutdoorexperience you too buddy!
Here in north Alabama our TSC stores aren't showing them on the website.
They are going to be in select stores only. But if you want to see one your local manager should be able to get one.
@@JoeTheFarmer that explains it. My dad is shopping for something like that and has been looking at the ones from Lowes.
These are super nice. I’m sure they are all similar but for $8k hard to beat!
@brentspepper2087 if you want to tell me your local store I can pass it along
@@JoeTheFarmer Athens Alabama
Man nice vid! I had no idea these were out there. Im getting one for the same reason you got it.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the kind words. They are limited right now but man it is nice! Been trying to break it but can’t. Lol!
It looks pretty good. If it had a low range it would be tempting. Will it climb ramps to put it in the back of a pickup?
Hey! Too big for the back of a pickup. Its full size for sure. Wouldn’t have an issue climbing a ramp at all! Check out recent side by side comparison video and you’ll see it going up a steep hill!
I BOUGHT ONE LAST WEEK ....SAME CART BUT WHERE DO I GET PARTS LIKE BREAK PADS
I would contact the manufacturer. They can help with parts availability.
I just got a golf cart off Amazon last week, also $8k, love it, definitely making my life easier 😍
That is awesome! Congrats!
That's a nice looking cart! We've been hunting out of a golf cart for years on our property. They're great! My only issue is the kids taking it out when it isn't charged enough and getting stranded on the back side of the property. 😂
🤣🤣🤣. I definitely see my kids doing that to me VERY soon. Do you park close to the stand and walk in or right to the stand?
@@JoeTheFarmer we're able to drive right up under most of our stands, a few we have to park close by and walk to.
@oldmanoldtruck That’s awesome!
@oldmanoldtruck I have another “farm tool” up my sleeve that I can’t wait to show you all. Will DEFINITELY help with that. 😉
Where do you find these things? Don't seem to be on internet anywhere. And not on Tractor Supply website
Limited stores will have them; ask your manager for one and they can get it to your store
It is a nice unit I agree.
Love the grey color too. So nice. Another viewer said to put black wheels on it. That would look awesome
I totally agree. I think that what people are willing to pay for a toy car makes no sense when one can buy a decent used vehicle that is way more comfortable, safe and capable for less money.
Looks like and interesting outfit with some nice features but would have loved to see it with LiFePo4 batteries instead of lead acid.
Would be nice for sure; but would prob be another $1,500. They really wanted to keep it affordable
Did you figure out how to stop the backing sound?
Yep, under the rear drivers side wheel by the electric motor there is a wire harness. Just disconnect and it kills the backup alarm. 👍🏼
I think this is a good value, I will keep this in mind when I look to upgrade my golf cart
I agree. It really is a lot for the money. Thanks for watching!
We have to buy a side by side 4WD with a dump bed for work around our property and taking it up our mountain in the woods
I dont see this cart available, is this a preproduction module? Maybe just not available in my area.
Its not in all areas yet; but if you request it from a store manager they should be able to get one 👍🏼
Did you ever figure out how to disconnect the backup beeper.
All good points. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Following 👍🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@JoeTheFarmer awesome will look forward to that review. Eventually I'm gonna take apart the entire frontend to do the adjustment myself.
Lol
Agree...my wife has a true electric golf cart for running around single wheel drive, bur useless in wet or snow, but good for the yard.
I have used my 4 wheel drive many times on my Polaris EV getting to stands etc....etc.
@rfb7117 well; this is what will be fun about testing this one out. I have a few more videos coming out where it was put through the typical paces. Trying to grab the Racka for everyday chores as opposed to the other machines. No real issues so far other than lack of a true bed. But I wan work around that.
Great looking forward to seeing them in the future.
Great for a couple years, or when you need to get parts.
We’ll see!
That's cute. It would be fun to knock around in. Kids will love it.
The adults love it too!
@@JoeTheFarmer thats logical just like finding parts for a Ford Crown Vic. Ty for the reply👍
Hi, I have the same one. It is awesome.
Glad you like it!!!
How do you unplug the back up alarm.
Under the rear drivers side wheel well. But “I don’t recommend it!” 😜🫣👍🏼
Looks nice, but as soon as I heard it's a 48 volt cart, I was done. I need a gas vehicle. So I'll keep the ranger for the time being.
I get it friend. No machine fits everyone. I couldn’t go without my gassers either. The electric sure is a great second machine though
@@JoeTheFarmer I agree. They all have their place. 👍
@c5grapeape 💯
Looks nice for camp ground
Would be perfect for that. Lifted suspension makes it great off the pavement
Does it have a hitch? What is payload? Cool.
837 total passenger and cargo weight
Oh shit bars. Picking up what you’re puttin down.
🤣. Nailed it.
Is there a Joe The Farmer discount. Got to love this weather. That is what you meant when you said a golf cart would suit me better. 😂 Always something in the works that's why I enjoy watching your channel.
Thanks buddy! And YOU were the one I was referring to but didn’t want to say your name for privacy
@JoeTheFarmer thank you I think that would do all yard work I do mulch and what ever.
@mileshiles1287 absolutely
Hey joe what are you doing with that lush forage
The hay? I’ll cut it down to give back to the fields. Never got to a 3rd cut.
My biggest concern is where to take it for warranty work.
Totally fair; but honest question would be what will go wrong with an electric cart? Batteries or motor are a possibility or the led display; but they are so simple. I would say look into a service center close to you that honors the warranty before purchasing and that should ease the concern. Thanks for watching John!
I love your gulfcart man
When will this be available at TSC, I watched this and then went there.
Just installed a 420 Predator in my 91 HGG1 today. Really took a few days. $400
Hi Joe. Can you connect a trailer hitch to it?
Hey, not sure why not. Doubt it will tow much…but a small trailer would probably work.
@@JoeTheFarmer thank you! yeah I just need to find one for my wife when she transports plants across the property.
Should do that without any issues at all.
In what country is it manufactured?
I’m sure it’s China.
I put bales of hay on the back of my cart....does that rack for the clubs come completely off?
Yessir. It can be removed
Does it have a tow hitch?
I haven’t heard who will carry them; but if you want one they are paying attention to that. Even for a demo. They can get one to your store.
The store in Bluffton, SC has them in stock. They just don’t service them. Deal breaker.
So, honest question. What service would an electric golf cart need that I cannot do? I have two electric machines on the farm and the only thing that they will need is batteries in the future. Yes grease, diff fluid change, etc. But that’s all super easy. Am I missing something?
@@JoeTheFarmer @ThePeteutube The biggest issue would be getting warranty work done.
Could you explain where the storage mode on this racka golf cart is?
Not sure what you are referring to.
@JoeTheFarmer alot of ev golf carts have a switch wit storage in the winter to keep the batters from draining I can find nothing on the racka golf cart
@kelly44444444 I don’t think it has that. The onboard charger likely trickle charges it.
@@JoeTheFarmer I know u can't find any thing on these carts
It's identical to the Coleman. Just rebranded as Racka for TSC. Both made by Tao motors.
iF YOU PUT A 12v 100 WATT SOLAR PANEL ON THE ROOF OF THE CART AND INSTALL A 30 OR 40 AMP MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER IT WILL KEEP YOUR BATTERIES CHARGED WHEN YOU ARE OUT AN ABOUT.
I like that idea for sure. Just may try it!!! Thanks for watching!
I can’t seem to find this on Tractor Supply’s website or anywhere else. What happened? Looks like a great cart.
They are in store only. Your local store manager can order one for you to look at
Many years ago I hunted on a 48volt lifted club cart... and I rode up so close to deer you could see the surprise in their eyes 😆
I know exactly what you mean! Its like they are like “where did YOU come?!?” Lol. Thanks for watching!
I fabricated a Aluminum roof rack for mine it great just remember not to make top heavy
Thats amazing. To have fabrication skills is clutch.
Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback!
How long far does the battery last or go ? Thanks
All depends on what you are doing and who is in it. Prob about 30-35 miles.
@@JoeTheFarmer thanks 😊
Can it go to the beach? Can it pull anything! Can you mount a winch? How h time for a charge?
I think you can do with it whatever you like. Charges pretty fast; as for sand and a winch it is not 4wd but within reason it is very capable on the farm so should translate to the beach.
