hello, glad you like my clips, i originally made these as a means to an end, i brought my z3 with the guides already broken and i tried everything. i was not the only one over here in the UK, so i made more for a few friends. At the time i had not realised how many of these cars had the same problem. glad i could help.
@@AutoDad as you say, poor design. The most common way to break them is when cleaning the inside of the car, the belt can easly lock then while moving thr seat forward via the motors it just pulls untill something has to give. I have even seen these cars with the seat as far back as it can go with the belt locked with no way of releasing it. A real facepalm design.
I also tried the glueing method but instead I used superglue. Didn't last too long before it broke loose again. I've been messing with this seat belt guide problem for some time and after many different approaches finally came up with a nice effective, cheap and easy to install solution. My video coming soon.

did you ever make a video? im still looking for a different solution myself. i like this simple solution but it doesnt help my problem
