Thank you. I ordered the clips as soon as I watched the video. Then I had I idea. I had some permatex black RTV adhesive sealant (81158), tilted the bottom of the guide away from the seat and put a healthy amount under it (just enough so it wouldn't squirt out the sides when i pressed it against the seat, and a bead on the top of its crack. I then pressed the top against it. It is holding well, I can't swear for it's longevity, but it'll work in the in term.

Thank you. Great video. Love your channel. Funny too, since I just ordered these yesterday based on your reference to them in one of your other videos. Glad to see this though, since it confirms that this will be a good fix vs. the 2" wide Velcro fix that is also out there. BTW, I just got myself a 'new' Z3. Last one I had was a gray 2001 with and automatic and the same color interior as yours. This time around I went for a 1998 M Roadster in Estoril Blue with the two tone blue/black interior. I will have to send you something soon for your "Zed of the Week" spot...

I bought these sliding covers a few months back even after buying a replacement guide. I haven’t yet pulled the seat and upholstery to replace the broken side, but I can confirm the clips hold well, so I am not in a hurry to pull the seat.
The only downside is that the clips are thick enough that the belt tensioner is unable to retract without assistance. I am planning to file away some material on the back side.

Hi Steve, I have noticed this issue if they are mounted a little too low on the guide. If this is still an issue, double check that it is seated over the center of where the two lobes meet. If this does not work, please reach out and I will be happy to make adjustments and send you another set.
      Thanks,
      Josh

Another very helpful video. Very clever! Yes, fixing / replacing the seatbelt guides are far more challenging than they appear. What did I spy????? Your BMW roundel badge is missing from the driver's side? And thanks for the links.

Thank you for your attention to my problem , it’s simple a red reflector on each side of the car behind the rear tires on back lower panels not all the z3 have them but I did see them in one of your videos a friend ‘s black z3 he had replaced the grill and the bumper. I think that the z3 /2.3 2000 was just something extra. But not a tail lite. Thanks again🤗

Just seeing this now don't know why- there is a Central Florida chapter of the main club, the ZSCCA. I think they are based in Tampa.
