Amazing work UVI quality here is undeniable 👏
Sounds really good, I dont know what everyone is complaining about.......sounds better than UAD or IK Media...LOL........
真不错啊!!坐等上架!!
Is this dynamically sampled?
This is useful as creative tool, but if you think Tape Suite for your bus duties, you can forget it. As any sort of realistic tape machine plugin this can't compete with your usual suspects when it comes to tape machine plugs. Delay, chorus, flanger - OK, but as a tape machine a big NO. This time UVI disappoints.
I played with this on instruments and it sounds great but it's a huge no-no on any bus that requires any amount of finesse.
Context: I'm a bedroom producer and I make music strictly for myself. This allows me to get very creative with the master bus, for example adding a Pulsar Echorec at 10% wet or a Satin etc.
However, when I tried this on my master bus it was a disaster. I get weird phasing issues with the dry/wet knob. Even with only 5% or 10% wet on Tape Color everything sounded like shit. This is very weird for UVI which usually have such consistently high quality releases...
@@eklipseRomaniayou cant dry/wet an impulse response because of phasing issues. Tape effects shouldn’t be applied in a send or dry/wet fashion because of frequency response and phase issues. My impression is that this probably isnt great as a straight up tape machine emulator, seems more of a creative tool for time base fx
Hi,
In Tape Color, IR convolution has zero latency and won't produce any phasing issue. These can be introduced by having modulations active and using the Mix (Dry/Wet) knob ; to avoid this effect, use the Amount knob instead.

@@Rhuggins you totally can dry wet impulse responses. as UVI pointed out
agreed. it a color box, wouldnt call this master tape at all
worst plugin ever, and worst youtuber ever, u cant use this vst live it will make latency really bad
Have tried to enable 'Low Ltency Mode' in the Modulations section? This reduces the latency to 10 ms, which is the minimal requirement to manage the wow effect.
