Logans favorite line: “F*** off”
This is the Kendall I liked. I kinda wish he continued down the Michael Corleone, heartless SOB path.
This was so rewarding. The dude was so fucking condescending and I’m glad Kendall could fuck him up in the end. Darth Kendall!!
This scene immediately convinced me to watch all of Succession. Also, Logan was wrong about Kendall not being a killer. He's got the most killer instinct out of all of the kids.
But the most moral, hence why he is torn whenever he has to be ruthless
kendall does have a killer instinct, but he had to be pushed to being almost suicidal to get there. not healthy at all lol. and jeremy strong's acting is breathtaking.
Well considering he got some killed, I’d certainly think so, Ha-cha-cha-cha
Only second to cousin Greg
i mean, he literally killed someone sooo
This was BRUTAL. And Kendall handled it like a beast.
Such an underrated show. The writing and cast is outstanding. Definitely already up there with GoT’s early seasons, Breaking Bad, and The Sopranos for me. Can’t wait for Season 3!
The emmys agree with you
what a world where an over all praised and golden globe and emmy winning tv show is "underrated"
If we were a smarter country, this would be the number 1 show on tv
I like that season 1 and 2 were underground. Shows go to crap when they become “number 1 “ and “mainstream” just look at game of thrones. It was so awesome seasons 1-3 before the mass terrible fanbase turned it to crap. Sadly I think succession with head there since people need something to coup since GoT is gone. Hopefully it’s not this show
@@yestoES355 They just had their best season yet I think
Evan Harris I am in complete agreement.
It is
@@yestoES355 how did the fans ruin GOT? I'm asking legitimately. Cause the writers started slacking off and the story suffered because of it and they rushed the last season because they took the Star Wars gig which toileted into nothing.
I know he got spit in the face but after when Kendall looked him in the eye and said "Is that all you got?" He said that in such a badass way. It was like he's saying "That's it? Here look, I just wiped it off. Now go have fun in the Unemployment line."
This was like the business equivalent of the Red Wedding.
lets be real, deep down our minds we all wish to be kendall for this scene
Episode 1 made Lawrence seem like he was going to be the main antagonist but then he didn't do shit and then got fired lol.
Team Kendall/Greg, Unite!!
Team #Grendall
Greg is with no one but himself
@@osmel8780 well it's one for his own for every character there.
F*** Greg.
The performance of Jeremy Strong is amaizing!!.
Kendall really has some Anakin going full Darth Vader qualities here
I bet Kendall hates sand too lol
My favourite Ken scene of the series.
Where he becomes the Darth Vader to Logan’s Emperor.
this was my favourite scene of the show
Why isn't there a compilation of Lawrence and Kendall verbal jousting? The actor who played Lawrence did a phenomenal job.
Kendall should have played some Boar on the Floor for severance packages...
It's hilarious that Kendall instructed his security detail that if someone spits in his face (a huge biohazard) they should pause for dramatic effect instead of instantly removing the person from his presence.
Imagine paying a bunch of security guards just to have some random asshole come and spit on you, and they stand there like idiots watching your reaction, the most unreal thing in succession. Just seeing someone approaching should be a clear warning, they weren't giving away candy lol, but it's the most kendall, he shouldn't even have exposed himself, but he wanted to have the momentary satisfaction of hitting back at the weakest link
We're fully operational on 7 so..
This scene really showed how competent Ken can be when he's in the 'right' zone.
I was shook with this scene...
best answer ever whether you're 6 years old or 30+ years, you can't argue with: "because my dad told me to!"
Kendall has literally become Darth Vader.
@DrinkwithaMexican literally all dictionaries in the world added on the definition of literally you pretentious fuck
@DrinkwithaMexican Are you saying that I'm a literal piece of shit or figurative? It's very confusing.
DrinkwithaMexican lmao wtf is wrong with you
DrinkwithaMexican he’s not wrong
This is him slaughtering the younglings
Karma for lawrence, for screwing him over in the boardroom vote, and thus summing to the circumstances of his breakdown.
Someone pointed out that every single scene in Succession would work as a Hitman level.
"Welcome back to New York, 47. Your targets today are Lawrence Yee, founder and CEO of Vaulter, a digital news media startup, and Kendall Roy, an executive at media giant Waystar Royco and heir apparent to his father's empire. Roy is currently prowling the halls at Vaulter while Yee oversees operations in the news room. The Vaulter offices are located in the Waystar Royco building, so expect security to be tight, particularly in light of Kendall Roy's apparently unexpected decision to drop by.
Tensions are high on this one 47; between Kendall's public drug issues and Yee's willingness to bite the hand that feeds we could be looking at quite the bombshell. Let's give the media a different story to report on. I shall leave you to prepare."
Mission Challenges:
Stop The Presses! - Eliminate Yee by pushing him into a printing press +4000xp
White Bylines - Cause Kendall Roy to relapse +2000xp
Fox In The Chicken Coop - Leak news of Kendall's plan to gut Vaulter and have Yee eliminate Roy +4000xp
I love Kendall, Vaulter deserved this
Vaulter was a Museli pit
Of course - It was a muesli pit
Bahahaha, someone was celebrating their 22nd birthday that day! Big gold balloons and everything!
People say he rides a motorcycle now because of the accident but personally I think it’s symbolism that he’s prepared for anything now - learning from his mistakes (won’t get caught in traffic again)
Maybe Lawrence should remember all the shit he said at that elevator that one time lol
K swings the axe without ever even taking off his topcoat! A most savage payback for the hand-sanitizer thing in the elevator. Dude.
Go find some other chicken coup.
I thought he was gonna say “Dude.” to cap it off but......... this is much better. 😁
I saw this the other day...it’s the first run through of the show.
It’s so good I had to come here to watch it again
Kendall got some sweet revenge
How so? He’s not a serious person. He was created and destroyed by his father. Kendall wants to be a big boy, but he’s just a boy. He’ll always be his father’s son. He’s just doing what his dad did to him.
@@mondoseguendo6113
He refused to back Kendall when he was gunning for the CEO after Waystar became majority shareholder of Vaulter. Then Logan decided to gut Vaulter because it was the deal that Kendall made. Lawrence literally fucked himself when he didn't back Kendall. That lead to this moment.
@@zeonmx Also, Kendall clearly didn't forget those chicken coop comments. Kendall knows damn well if Logan had died Laurence would be a fucking dick to him.
God this show is so perfect. He fucking killed this scene. And all of these people thinking they're the victim. They had no idea what was really going on and what was bigger
After this all I can do is be surprised that I was surprised at the season finale...dude was cold and calculating when all the lights were on him, what a killer
If this were the Bada Bing, can you imagine the staff’s reaction? “Oooooohhh!”
Never understood why Lawrence was confused by the betrayal. They hated each other .
Right? Plus he is the one who abstained in the confidence vote. He practically chose Logan himself
@@marekb1556then Logan repays him by having Kendell fire him. Talk about knowing a snake when you see it
Wrong. Lawrence hated Kendall. We agree that this scene is iconic, but I find it incredible when Lawrence is yelling at Kendall as he walks up the stairs, literally Kendall ignoring him accidentally said: We are not on the same level, I had to crawl to yours, but you will never climb back to mine. I felt like for some reason everything in Kendall was screaming: UNTOUCHABLE
This is when the killer got his first taste of blood and knew he could stomach it.
The nerve of Lawrence acting surprised.
Best show on TV by a mile
That is one of the coolest scores from the show. Well done Nicholas britell.
Love to come back to this scene. Perfectly directed.
This scene was so satisfying to see....
I really thought Lawrence was going to play a bigger role than he did after the first episode and his “fox in the hen house” comment.
The writers redirected the story after the first season, plus the actor seemed to have more insecurities than Kendall, it was probably better to get him out earlier.
AHHH CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 3
I like how there’s a RIDICULOUS amount of staff for a website that probably 5 people could run. 🤣
Firing them all really does make sense.
The algo knew what to recommend today
I love the way Kendall's story was told.
If we had started in season two he would come off as a pathetic snot nosed daddy's boy here.
But we know the history, we know how Logan got him this under his control, so we know that Kendall when he's like this is like one of Satan's hounds. He is terrifyingly empty and he can be used to destroy whatever his dad needs destroying. Honestly deeply sinister and I love it.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that I’m The Man, but if there were a Man, hypothetically…he might look a lot like me.”
This was one of the most satisfying scenes ever.
Bet Lawrence regrets not backing Kendall during the vote of no confidence now
"Because my dad told me to" is actually so savage. It basically means:
"I care about you so little that I destroyed your entire company on an order from my dad"
Sounds cool but it's not what happened. Ken DID care about vaulter he just wasn't in a position where he could say no to his dad
@@peterumathum4903 I mean no it's not what happened, but that IS what he said and that IS what it meant. Plus, it's a bit more complicated than just being blackmailed by his dad, as he explains to Shiv in 2x04
@@romilrh What did he explain to Shiv again? Was this when he broke down in front of her?
@@billybobbobson he says "if dad didn't need me anymore, I'm not sure what I would be for." Essentially explains that the reason he's so relentless with doing his father's bidding and so passionately on his side is because it's his only purpose in life at this point, the only thing he's good at. If he throws that away, he has nothing. It's not just because his dad has dirt on him
@@romilrh Oh! I was curious what he meant by that. I wished I noticed that kinda stuff on the first go 🤦🏿♂️
Never knew being a daddy’s boy could be so cool 😎
I know it was a gross move, but I was glad to see that Vaulter guy lose something.
This is why you never fucking trust your fate to a company...
LOOOL
even after the asian guy fucking with Kendall left and right he still cries like a baby in the end 😂😂😂😂😂
Kendall thinks about jumping into the Hudson to kill himself as his final scene. So who wins?
@@kevinc8955 Logan wins. Everyone loses
