I think that gives an idea of how the xtreme 4 will sound because personally I think it will have the same speaker setup (atleast an oval driver because flip charge and boombox now have it) with deeper bass and ear piercing highs

Yes, i think the Xtreme 4 will be the best Xtreme, JBL has ever done! With more powerful and deeper bass! Sure a bit more expensive, but hey, its the new Xtreme, we all have to buy it!
And with this setup. It's obvious why JBL released an In app EQ. For users to dial back the highs if it's not preferable.
My flip 6 gets pretty harsh at high volume. I never listen to such extend. I keep it at 40 to 60% I love it
At first, I was picturing the new gen xtreme to be like 2 charge 5's put together.... but after seeing the boom box setup, it is the obvious choice.

Try with EQ in JBL app, does that make any difference? If not, maybe they will release firmware update to improve it, who knows :)

There’s a hack on treble harshness. Just put a tissue on fabric cover covering the tweeter for a sweeter response
There's a hack for the tweeter it's called an Equaliser

I don't think the 2 speakers are being used as mids. I'd say mid but more on the highs side. The subwoofer does the mid en lows. That can explain why you don't really see the 2 mid speakers move. And the harshness. It's like the mid and tweeter are playing the highs.
They are used as mids The mids are crossed over at 700hz that's why they don't move the subwoofer is only for bass

i pre-ordered the BB3 2 weeks ago. Although i have the Boobox 2 and i love it. I hope it arrives on monday or tuesday. BB2+BB3 in partymode should be massive :D.
In your opinion which one got more powerful set-up for bass. Boombox 2 , 3 or sony xg500?
Boombox 3 is powerfull xg500 i wouldn't even consider getting close to boombox 2 and 3

Amazing video but i don't like this construction.
The mids are too much hidden, so they can't play as good and loud, as they can.
And the design of the woofer is horrible - but it's my opinion :D

I think jbl should try get rid of the compression at higher volume so there is the same bass all the way up to 100% volume it will be a challenge but definitely doable
@@HAIYANE9910 no because the jbl boombox 2 reached max bass at 80%volume they can lower the bass so the drivers move less and you can turn it up more and amps can go up to full volume without any compression or distortion or just re engineer the woofers st they take more power it is definitely possible and not hard to do
It would be better to take it off in the first person as before, and even the effect is terrible, nothing can be seen too dark...
Seems like absolute nonsense that this speaker is 500€+ and they are still not using neodymium magnets like on xtreme 3. Boombox 2 is already super heavy and boombox 3 is a bit heavier.
Neodymium on this size would make this speaker cost double probably jbl wants big profit😂
@@techderaudios dont think manufacturing this speaker costs a lot over over 350-400€ its just their big brand tax thats going on, yes if they kept the tax the same it will probably cost aroud 600+

Your first mistake, is talking about how JBL needs to make improvements how the tweeters are harsh and the sun is heavy everything you said, about it is wrong. You make some better I dear you. Next is saying how it sounds, you do realise the way you hear sound isn't the same for everyone that you hear as sharp someone else hears flat. The whole review was pointless
