    Great series . . . I worked on my first dozen of wooden arrows about a month ago. I may try it again after watching your video's. And "Yes" I would like to see everything you've got on cresting and working with wooden arrows.

      I should have a cresting video posted by mid to late week for you. Fletching is pretty straight forward so that one will be brief and follow by the weekend I hope. Thanks for your interest

    I like to wait 1-2 days between staining and sealing to make sure everything is perfectly dry. If you dip too soon some of the stain will leach into your sealer and affect the look of future shafts.

    When you're dipping it looks like there's a few inches of the arrow shaft on the end you're holding that doesn't recieve any lacquer, how do you remedy that, especially if you're not cresting them?

    Wonder why you are using an abrasive paper for rubbing down the shafts.. Wire wool will conform to the contour . touching more of the shaft , whereas paper can and will jump and miss areas. Sanding on a curved surface will always be easier and quicker and better with wire wool.
