I go to a local craft store called Michaels, it’s a large chain. I buy sheets that are roughly 14” X 14”. I measure them so there is very little overlap and I don’t run my wraps all the way back to the nock either. Too much vinyl just adds more tail weight. My wraps are approx 3” in length and I center my fletch on the vinyl. I can get between 40 / 50 wraps per sheet of vinyl. I also bought an economical cutter from there as well, and I can have a whole sheet cut in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Awesome idea!! What does a sheet cost?

@@williambowfishing I don’t recall exactly, my wife usually picks it up, but it’s only like $3 or $4 a sheet I believe.

And here I thought all this time it was a special vinyl that resists melting under the glue or something amazing. DAM, thank you for this!

Orocal 651 is the colored stickers, Orocal 6510 is the same, but it's the fluorescent colors.

I had good luck with a different Orafal retroreflective vinyl. Lights up pretty well with just a little bit of light. Less need for a lighted nock depending on the brush

    "I have the vinyl already"
    "I have a crickut machine"
"I have a board for cutting that you can use, dont touch my machine"😂😂

    Here's a cheap tip...
I couldn't find a foam for my Mathews T5 quiver to save my life. I found one, but it was $27 and that's just way too high for a piece of foam. I ended up getting a yoga block that was about $10 to cut a piece out of. As I pulled the old foam out of my quiver, I found that the reverse side was perfectly intact and usable so I just inverted it and reinstalled it and BOOM! Zero cost! But now I have to take up yoga to justify buying the foam block! 😂

Hi mate, thanks a lot, could you tell me if it is Oracal 651 or 6510? In my country the 651 is 0.07mm thick and does not exist in neon yellow, however, the 6510 is 0.11mm thick and does exist in that color.
thank you very much in advance

Awesome!!! Thank you for posting. 10 dollars on amazon would give you 10 square feet of this vs the one square feet you get at archery supply stores. This way you can cut them to sizes and fit whatever arrows you have!

Question about using wraps. Never used them before.
Do you clean the vinyl to remove the oil of the wrap like you do with bareshaft? I always wipe the fletching end down with denatured alcohol. What’s you guys method? Thank you in advance.

The people that use VVIVID Vinyl Wrap recommend the non perminant adhesive. More color selection with Oracal 651 but I only find perminant solvent based adhesive. How does the thickness compare with purchased and is Oracal 651 easy to remove by dipping in boiling water like purchased.
