I always use Traveler + starter trio for the Archon Quests, but ngl, Scara makes me consider bringing my Noelle in :D And Nahida makes my saving-primos-for-a-certain-someone resolve crumble, SHE'S ADORABLE

We shouldn't expect to have a new update every patch, it is a lot of work for the game dev team and I do want them to take their time and make good content. I think a lot of players are spoiled by Genshin a little too much, I played a lot of mobile game before and never in any other game I get this quality of an update every patch. I used to play Summoner War, Dragalia Lost, Fate Grand Order, Million Arthur, and many more, none of them gets the same quality update like this okay? Like summoner war, they don't even bother updating their crappy background music and sound affect, I had to turn it off cuz it's so bad. I spent a lot of money on mobile game and gaming in general, and I don't mind doing that because it is my way of supporting what I love and I don't give a shit about "omg why are you spending so much on a video game". It's my money I choose to spend it on game instead of big brand purses. I think I'm very happy what Genshin offered me consider I spent the same amount of money on Summoner war and other games, it is the first game where I felt like my money actually worth a pixel in the game I'm supporting LOL. A lot of POG additions. Kinda sadge that Layla isn't with Nahida, but it's ok ( i suppose i'll wait like i did with Shinobu). It's also really cool that they are adding more languages to the game. I'll keep playing in english (even if i'm italian), but it's very good for those who have trouble understanding things; i have a friend who basically always asks me what happens in the story because he can understand only the gist of it... Finally he (and many others) will also enjoy it better!
What do you mean by a boss with "actual mechanics?" Loads of bosses in the game have special mechanics or gimmicks, Signora, Azhdaha, Raiden Shogun, Dvalin, literally every single Hypostasis and Regisvine, Aeonblight Ruin Drake, the new desert machine boss, Jadeploom Terrorshroom, and more, that's not even counting limited time event exclusive bosses we've had in the past, we've always had a wide variety of bosses with mechanics and gimmicks
I'm talking raid style mechanics, difficult, not just "Attack this thing to make it vulnerable" style things, mechanics where if you don't do it, you get punished. New desert boss you can ignore every mechanic. Afaik the only boss you NEED to do mechanics for so far is Raiden to not die, and other mechanics are a must to progress instead of survive

okay! I noticed that all of the archons except Ei. Has op overworld mechanics. Venti has float with skills. Zhongli can harvest tons of ores. Nahida has easy materials get. (When i get nahida, I'll use her skills to get her own materials coz god its not easy to get)
Okay, so Scaramouche is, at least for the immediate future, pulling an Aizen: abandoning any form of stealth or subtlety, and the ability to avoid combat or escape, in favor of lots of raw force. He has archon levels of power, a giant mecha suit to safely channel said power, and lacks the experience, finesse, and populated territory of an actual archon (and there's general agreement that last really does matter - whatever set off the Archon War, it seems to have been then driven by there being too many gods and not enough room for them). He's in the heart of the Dendro Archon's territory, and is unlikely to survive long without openly seizing it from her. Yes, she's probably his best choice of target, but there are no good choices. Strength rarely beats strength plus accuracy... let along experience. Regardless of the Dendro Archon's current power, she'll almost instantly have the details of his body's construction, integral weapon specs, weak spots, and how best to avoid its attacks and take it apart. And she's got someone fighting for her who can actually manage the physical side of doing that. While the Fatui have effectively won before the fight starts (simply because proving to the world they can make a god outweighs in ramifications anything which promptly happens to said god), and Scaramouche might plausibly get away from this (Electro users seem very good at enduring personal disaster), if he does he ought to be leaving Sumeru in far less stable condition than when he arrived. For the first time in the storyline, we're prepared to beat a god.
I'm mainly interested in the story, Nahida and the story of the tamer event, the rest is more of the usual stuff so i will probably skip that though i do think i might come back to do some pulls on Yae Miko's banner just for the hell of it.

Okay, so Scaramouche is, at least for the immediate future, pulling an Aizen: abandoning any form of stealth or subtlety, and the ability to avoid combat or escape, in favor of lots of raw force. He has archon levels of power, a giant mecha suit to safely channel said power, and lacks the experience, finesse, and populated territory of an actual archon (and there's general agreement that last really does matter - whatever set off the Archon War, it seems to have been then driven by there being too many gods and not enough room for them). He's in the heart of the Dendro Archon's territory, and is unlikely to survive long without openly seizing it from her. Yes, she's probably his best choice of target, but there are no good choices. Strength rarely beats strength plus accuracy... let along experience.
Regardless of the Dendro Archon's current power, she'll almost instantly have the details of his body's construction, integral weapon specs, weak spots, and how best to avoid its attacks and take it apart. And she's got someone fighting for her who can actually manage the physical side of doing that. While the Fatui have effectively won before the fight starts (simply because proving to the world they can make a god outweighs in ramifications anything which promptly happens to said god), and Scaramouche might plausibly get away from this (Electro users seem very good at enduring personal disaster), if he does he ought to be leaving Sumeru in far less stable condition than when he arrived. For the first time in the storyline, we're prepared to beat a god.
Genshin Nier crossover? That floating thing shooting Scara boss looks like it has pod mechanics.
Also, the song playing in the battle sounds like something you’d hear in Nier: Automata.

I'm mainly interested in the story, Nahida and the story of the tamer event, the rest is more of the usual stuff so i will probably skip that though i do think i might come back to do some pulls on Yae Miko's banner just for the hell of it.

I can’t wait to beat this with my physical Kazuha, and FINALLY a boss that forces you to do a bunch of mechanics and can’t be oneshot (or threeshot in Azhdaha’s case).
