The trailer was amazing, honestly might be one of my favourites. nilou’s dance was pretty, loved it. I’m looking forward to sumeru’s lore and finding out it’s secrets. I’m a little bummed we didn’t get to see Cyno or Dehya but I’m positive we’ll probably see them in the desert area. I’m definitely want to get Cyno when he arrives

Ngl I feel the opposite like compared to the 2.0 I feel like they gave too much info and yet again it's going in about a festival. The music and characters are amazing and I'm sure 3.1/3.2 will back up the story elements but they didn't show anything to be hyped about plot wise so it was a miss for me tho it's a decent trailer

The livestream was content overload hahaha, but honestly it just gets me more hyped for the 3.0 update. The whole of Sumeru literally looks incredible!! Get ready cause the bosses, characters, story, exploration, events, items and quests are all gonna drop in at once!!! The music was such a surprise too! I think you chat misunderstood the Archon Quests thingy. Inazuma Act 1 and 2 came out on 2.0 and the last Act on 2.1. In Sumeru we are getting Act 1 and Act 2 in 3.0 and we are gonna get more in 3.1 AND 3.2. And from the trailer it seems that these first two acts are already jam packed with a lot of hype story and so I can't wait for the upcoming ones in the later versions!
Oh I didn’t catch that either! That’s great, mihoyo has listened to us fans saying that the story acts need to be longer for the story to have a better pace since Inazuma got a bit of a backlash.
@@aleynawastaken yeah and to me it seems like 3.0 is gonna be about the Inner Conflict of Sumeru Forest, then maybe 3.1 about the Desert Area and then 3.2 for Fatui stuff. It is spaced out enough and will even utilize a huge chunk of the Sumeru map so it will be fun to see the story play out!

Do you think the reason Kusanali got called lesser lord because some people used it as degrading at first? Looking down at the "new" archon, because they couldn't even reach the same length as the original one. I'm guessing some people didn't know about that instead they thought she was called that way since she was a very young god/archon. The insecurities of being not good enough and the inexperience compared to the other new god. Ei could manage but her form of coping was harmful of course but she could manage since she saw her sister rule over Inazuma back then.
Kusanali on the other hand is the youngest amongst the new gods, and if the theory of her being be the reincarnation of the fallen or former archon, the amount of weight of knowing that you are the reincarnation of the said fallen god but you can't even surpass them like you were supposed to which led to the point that some of her people look down upon her. The amount of pressure that is for a young inexperienced child that became an Archon, the Fatui and the Abyss would never miss the opportunity as good as this.
A lot of adults in Sumeru does not dream, if she is the goddess of dreams based on the 2.8 Archipelago event quest, the mirages were also related to her as well. Her people wants "knowledge" but that isn't her domain of expertise, "Knowledge" is not the same as "Wisdom" after all.
This a little discussion a friend of mine both made during the livetsream, the "theorist mode" activated when we watched the trailer. Can't wait for the Archon quest! Absolute hype!
I heard lesser lord isn't a term used in any derogatory sense. it simply indicates she is not the original. atleast thats what I heard.
@@fakenamesam7453 true, I just thought of some plot points here and there to fuel my angst driven soul. We do know that many of the other sages aren't really......that happy about the current archon. For the people of Sumeru, it's a show of respect but those in the higher ups or the sages, the "lesser lord" title seems to feel another meaning to them.
“Lesser” pretty much just means “little”. Small. Young. Kusanali’s full Chinese name (小吉祥草王) means “The Little Lucky-Grass Monarch”.

LET’S GOOOOOO OMG. As a florist, seeing all of the floral and plant elements included in this first half of Sumeru has my heart singing. The weapon and environmental designs are so so so gorgeous, pretty sure I was close to tears at certain points. I’m especially feeling a special kind of way with all of the art nouveau inspired architecture.
Also the ungodly embarrassing sound of excitement I made when they did the artifact strong box announcement, AHHHH I AM SO READY LET’S GO.

To be honest, I'm glad they don't release the whole region right away, because there are people like me who don't have as much free time to explore new territories at once. They did the same with Inazuma, which is very convenient and also right from a marketing point of view, so people can stay hyped for longer
That event where the enemies stop when you point a camera and you can see their weak points... Sort of reminds me of Fatal Frame and I loved it, can't wait to play that! Man, this patch is content overload. Can't wait to test out all the new reactions.

For people who found all the Dendro reactions confusing, here's your summary (from what I understood):
Dendro+Hydro=creates a seed that exists for some time. Only a set number of seeds can exist at the same time. Try to create more, or if the seed expires -> Dendro dmg explosion.
Seed+Pyro=bigger explosion, still Dendro dmg.
Seed+Electro=a homing projectile.
An enemy affected by Dendro+Electro=twitchy twitchy (the small yellowish shocks). Makes next Dendro or Electro attack against said enemy stronger.
Now I wonder if combining Ayato's ult with Tighnari's Dendro arrow spam will result in constant Dendro explosions 🤔
@@whistlegirl5726 Yes they will. But I think only 4-5 seeds exist but letting the seed blow by themselves is not much useful better use electro or pyro to trigger the seed for Burgeon or Hyperbloom. Thoma can be good in Burgeon and Kuki in Hyperbloom. This is just early speculation ofcourse. Also Tighnari isn't good in Bloom teams from beta. Looks like Quicken and Spread will be be better as applying dendro on quickened enemies will increase his dendro damage(spread reaction)

dude, the trailer. what is this. imagine if we didn't get the sumeru teasers or any leaks and were thrown right into that, hospitals would've been filled with heart attack patients globally.
Chat was lying! This is the first time the archon chapter is divided into 3 parts, in Liyue we got the first 2 acts on 1.0 and in 1.1 we got the last act, same with Inazuma in 2.0 we got the first 2 acts and in 2.1 we got the final act. Which is why so many people complained about pacing in Inazuma I imagine so maybe this new approach will help.
That trailer was so intense my god, just adding a letterbox over it really gave it a completely different vibe
if i want to be honest deciding to play genshin is the best thing i did in my life. its so fun and the story the world the charecters are amazing . the beauty of the game can't really be explained by words. it's beyond amazing.
Idc what naysayers say. Im excited for sumeru. Im gonna enjoy it and not let cynicism ruin the fun. This is the first time for a long time that I am excited to explore once more, not even enkanomiya or the chasm gave me this excitement (probably because both are dark places that easily make me dizzy).
Also, I am glad that we have cc like Bran and some others who just spread positivity to this game. This is just a game. Just enjoy it as it was intended.

Coz people don't get to be racist or harrass the devs anymore so they are dissapointed. U shud have seen 2.0 livestream people were being soo racist and spamming to bring chibi back. So annoying that now the chat is emote only on Twitch for their livestream. And wen chibi's appear they keep saying cringe like a bunch of edgy teens.

Thank you so much for the live Bran. I was so honoured to see some of the ones behind this fantastic game. I was however so sad and cross at people who kept putting yawning and angry emojis on the genshin page during the live. At least on twitch with Bran, such nastiness isn't present which is so much nicer. I am so excited for Sumeru!! There is so much. As a cello player, I loved the surprise music and all of the beautiful instruments.
it's a much better experience hanging out with others watching the livestreams yeah. back when the 2.0 livestream happened, i saw many nasty insults and racist comments in the live chat directed at the staff so i'm not surprised they used emote mode on the official channel. some people sure do like to just sit there and spam "it's boring" "get to the codes, i don't care too much talking" but well there's plenty of us who appreciate the devs talking about the content to drown them out.
As an Indian❤️ I'm impressed as the names they have chosen and the diversity represented just like in India ...even the name sumeru itself which is named after mountain of India it's very beautifully represented and addition of cultures from all over in that region is impressive as accurate it is ❤️❤️
I think for the first time, people will be fighting against they're archon. This is different from Inazuma. It seems like the Archon did nothing wrong here. Poor little one. This will be interesting. I am ready for 3.0!!!

I loved everything about this!! The only nitpick I have is that they names the electro dendro reaction “catalyze” when we have catalyst weapons in the game 😅, kinda wish they settled on the name Intensify but it’ll probably grow on me LOL! Can’t wait to explore Sumeru!

I love how they put the instruments up in the back and how they gave some of them the ability to sit down on the ground as they played them because that’s how they originally are played in their culture. it’s such a small detail but I loved it .

When nahida sais "the world forget me" i get shivers. Also there's a small bird showed trapped in a cage. From what nahida told us in GAA she described herself as "a small bird". So it kinda makes me think what if it's her trapped?

The livestreams for new regions are as always really cool! Last year the one for Inazuma was beautiful too, with Yu-peng Chen at the start playing Inazuma's main theme on piano 💜
Just like you I'm so hype by this update!! >.< I can't wait!! The story look amazing, and the characters... damn. I honnestly didn't think too much about Dori before but now, she looks kinda cool, I'm not gonna lie. I think she's the character I'm looking the most forward in 3.0. She seems so fun to play (and she's so cute !!) I didn't expect her to be a claymore user though :D I thought she would be a catalyst user, it's a nice surprise! ^_^
OH! One thing about the updates being only 5 weeks, I think a lot of people didn't catch that it only concerns the next three updates. It's NOT a permanent thing. HoYoverse only want to come back to the original Update schedule that was messed up by the covid situation during 2.6.

That trailer was INSANE. I loved every second of it. This program just made me more excited for Sumeru. Much like you, this will be my first major Archon Quest update that introduces a new region, and that makes me super duper excited! This will be an unforgettable experience!
That music section…oh god…I was in tears…AND THOSE WERE ONLY TWO OST’S! I cannot wait to see what this region has in store for us. From the new story and region all the way to the music and beautiful sceneries, I believe this will be my best experience with Genshin Impact.

It's really cool that we seem to be getting 4 acts for Sumeru's story instead of 3.
They said we'll get Acts 1 and 2 in Version 3.0, but the story will come out across 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2, so that seems to mean we'll get at least 4 acts. Considering we saw an Abyss Lector in the trailer but no sign of the Fatui, maybe the story here is longer because we have to deal with both the Abyss Order and the Fatui.
I'm soooo hyped for sumeru the music, the combat events look so fun too, the green seelie, and a FREE Collei!!! also in terms of 5*s Cyno, Alhaitham, and Dehya are definitely my future mains

Setting the obvious sumeru hype aside, the version trailer album is a HUGE highlight for me. I've been wanting to have the 1.5 trailer soundtrack on its own since the day it came out
The pause and the music drop starting from 49:23 is hitting me hard! It is Golden!
Like listening to it I was imagining sumeru’s enemies awaiting on the other-side of the battlefield watching the big golden chariots and war elephants 🐘 of sumeru marching to the war zone, bulky but fast paced;
and then when the pause hit at 49:46 it was like the enemies thought that’s all they would have to deal with but when music drop again, they started seeing millions and millions of war horses being revealed from the shadows which the sun had casted on their big sized war allies. These warriors on horses, not as threatening in size but in numbers and speed. In the blink of an eye, had infiltrated the zones like an insect infestation.
I love it.
I love that they always use instruments from the real life area that inspired the Genshin location.

The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings... that's a very sad title if we think about it. Kusanali's birth just right after presumably the previous Archon death might mean that she is directly her daughter or born product of her death and everyone taking advantage of that, all I can think is what Kusanali must feel like...
Apparently the story will be longer this time probably another archon quests until version 2.2 or 2.3. I hope they deliver.

i'm really hyped for sumeru cause i'm from the middle east so its feel like home but the most interesting is the music the use of different instruments from arabic instrument to turkish to even indian instruments the tune is mostly arabic tune but the use of the different instruments result to a really beautiful music this is really art at its finest
