tbh I was waiting for this, just to see your reactions... coz this is the best Archon quest so far... it got me. The moment Rukkhadevata said "Good bye, people of Sumeru", I lost my composure.
Fun fact: after Dehya breaks you out of jail, you can find Alhaitham’s guards unconscious outside the city. He probably got tired of acting, knocked them out and walked to Caravan Ribat himself
I loved that unlike other archon quests, where usually we do everything, in this one we stay locked up for a while and we rely on our teammates to do their part. It feels like an actual team and like we’re not the only heroes in this story for once. It’s so refreshing
Not to mention that unlike in Liyue and Inazuma where the traveler constantly ran away from authorities (suspected for killing Rex Lapis and fighting with the Raiden Shogun), they intentionally got locked up to save a god
They're actually showing stuff happening when the Traveler isn't "there" I remember feeling like sometimes we were too bound to Traveler's PoV in past Quests

Experiencing the story solely through Traveler's PoV caused the issue in the Inazuma story where the resistance just seems to show up out of nowhere for no good reason at Tenshukaku. Sure, Ayato's character demo patches up that part of the story, but it really should've been handled better in-game. Even then, though, there's also the issue that our time with the resistance felt more like a visit than us joining them. It felt like we were there for a couple or so days before running off to the Delusion factory.

Btw, all mentions of Rukkhadevata have been removed from the game after completion of Act 5. Where once she was mentioned in Nahida's character profile, Nahida has now ALWAYS been the Dendro Archon.
The interesting fact that i noticed: Nahida said that 168 - was the number of cycles of Samsara needed to create Shouki no Kami. Which is exactly the same number of materials needed to ascend character to level 90
I love the little tête-à-têtes we saw with Dottore and Scaramouche. Really makes the antagonists well-rounded characters instead of just evil, shadowy caricatures.
Like La Signora seriously that character is just like lust from fullmetal alchemist the first member of the series main antagonist group that appear in the early part of the story that than get kill of first near the end of early game
The Dottore and Nahida conversation was the most tense I’ve ever felt in this game. I absolutely love both characters and really enjoyed how Dottore is smart enough to know when not to fight. Excited to see more of him later on
it was the first time a scene without battle put me in edge. Dottore's schemes and Nahida's cleverness was immaculately well portrayed and i think this is my favorite part in the archon quest (even though there wasn't a moment in this quest that wasn't good!)
What I like about the Artistic Performance Banning Act part was that it wasn't just randomly pulled out of their asses. If you rewatch the cutscene waaay back in 3.0 where Azar confronted Nilou which stopped the performance of the Dance he said he'll order the scribe to write the said Act, the scribe who later turns out to be Alhaitham.
Exactly! That's also where we first heard the term Jnagarbha Day. After walking away, he tells Setaria to remind him to have the Scribe write up that law _before_ next Jnagarbha Day. That's how Alhaitham knew about that law and that it was going to be entered into the Akasha that day, because he was the one who was ordered to write it. He also knew that the Grand Sage had to have already checked that Capsule and wouldn't check it again because he had already written it days before Jnagarbha Day.
Very True. Venti is like "Ehe😋", Zhong li "I sign a NDA", while Ei is "Eternity or nothing." Also the way she described the descenders, it puts the "Paimon is the unknown god/heavenly principle" theory into very unlikely status (of course, thay wouldn't stop the conspiracy theories regarding their origins)

For those who is still a bit confuse about Alheitham's misleading information distributed to the guards, here an easy explanation: 1. Knowledged capsules are like boxes with labels on the outside and a message in the inside. 2. The sages planned to use 'Box A' labelled as 'Art Ban Law' with its details to arrest anyone who dances in public. 3. Alheithem yoinked the 'Real Box A' and replaced with the 'Fake Box A' with the 'same label' on the outside. However, the text is changed to 'Nahida ran away. All guards go into town and arrest her'. 4. Once the Sages knew Nilou was dancing in front of their house, they ordered their minion "Distribute the order in the box labelled 'Art Ban Law' to all the guards. They can follow whatever order is in that box." 5. 'Fake Box A' contents will be distributed.
I get that part. But I recall the Grand Sage mentioned about always checking the knowledge capsules before inserting them into the Akasha. What's that about?
@@arrrrrrrr6593 There are a few explanations I can guess: 1. The original capsule was already at the desk of the Grand Sage for a long time. Along with the other capsules waiting to be put into the Akasha. Meaning that these capsules was already reviewed by the Grand Sage himself. Therefore, since Alheitham 'smuggled' the false information into the group of capsules already reviewed, there was no need for the Grand Sage to review it again. 2. Remember when the text was first distributed? At first, the text was normal then it glitched and changed to the 'smuggled' text. I believe that was the modification Alheitham also made with the Knowledge Capsule. The false information will only appear when it was distributed. Just think of it like coding; ['Text A' will change to 'Text B' when 'Action C' is completed.] I guess it is a countermeasure made in case the contents of the fake capsule were to be review before putting into the Akasha. 3. The Grand Sage was careless since Alheitham's plan made them believed that our plan was fallen apart and they have captured us. Everything is under control.

You can also think that the sages are so narcissistic in their knowledge and confidence in the Akasha that what Alhaitham did was nothing but an insignificant pin in their plan. There’s also the fact that everyone in Sumeru had became so accustomed to the Akasha that it has become their crutch for everything and anything; meaning that if one person inputs information into it even though it’s 100% false, anyone who wears it for a long time will believe it’s 100% true. Kinda like how anybody can pull up information immediately on social media’s or google, but unlike us who can actually search and find the truth behind the statement, the residents of Sumeru have no other means of fact-checking them.
@@unravelmuffin and Alhaitham gave him two capsules, one with his report on the Traveler, which Azar, being suspicious of Alhaitham, checked, and the other with the act on prohibiting public performances (in the 2nd Archon quest Azar told Setaria to tell the Scribe, aka Alhaitham to prepare this act). Alhaitham basically swapped the original act with the new one, which had the act, but also the information on Kusanali escaping and the Traveller's conviction of her being freed successfully. Hope this clears the confusion for anyone reading it
Nilou's performance was to force Azar to announce the ban, and thus inadvertently give the order to search for Kusanali. If Nilou didn't perform, they would have had to wait until Azar announced the ban, which could've happened who knows when.

42:46 I think Tighnari was keeping things civil to protect Collei. Tighnari knows about Dottore's involvement in Collei's past, but Dottore (presumably) doesn't know that Tighnari knows. So if Tighnari behaved all snappy seemingly for no reason, Dottore would realise that Tighnari knows something.

I agree. He knows he can’t match up to Dottore in terms of combat strength and that if he was hostile Dottore would probably kill/hurt him and Hapaysia leaving no one to take care of Collei. He was being smart, not kind. As a side note, even if he did mention Collei the Dottore he was talking to would still probably not care that much since he isn’t the clone who hurt her and they don’t share a mind as far as we know
I cried so hard at the Rukkadhevata scene. Imagine doing so much for your people, sacrificing so much, loving them so much and receiving so much love from them, and then one day, whoosh, they completely forget your entire existence. That's so sad i swear

This is why Zhongli told the Traveler in Zhongli's 1st story quest that he need to be the bare witness of the happenings of the world in case the memories would be forgotten by the people of Tevyat since he is form another world therefore he is the only one that will not be affected when everyone has already about Greater Lord Rukkhadevata
I truly adore these cast, unlike the other cast from previous regions, all of the sumeru cast have their own important task and not just background characters. For the most part we are the background character.
To be fair all regions really have this Mondstat being really simple, the main cast being what 6 charcters Diluc, Jean,Venti, Kayea, Lisa, Amber. So the cast expanded massively every region and I do agree seeing all the cast we met appear throughout is great. But technically in every region including Inuzuma all the cast were useful but after they did there thing they stopped showing up which again was upsetting. Furthering my reason Collei for example basically served as a guide like Amber was useful but after the first arc she shows up twice for 2 small conversations. So I think the takeaway is the charcters introduced can serve there purpose and if possible don't just toss them away. Sorry it's 6 in the morning where I'm at and I went on a rant. TLDR: I think that all regions had this basically. And as long as the cast show up and aren't introduced for 1 arc and never show up in the archon quest I'll be happy.
This Archon Quest is definitely my favorite one so far! Also, I just want to say that Scaramouche's VA blew me away at around 2:44:36. Really gave me chills!

I thought of Zhongli as well with the whole "forget me" part. At the same time, I thought it was just a coincidence. But now it has me thinking about the dendro archon making new segments of herself as a subtle hint maybe? Or just a coincidence with what he said. Either way, I found it so interesting and an OMG moment.
When talking about the Balladeer with Nahida at the end, when she says "Don't worry, I wont let him do any evil" I just picture her with one of those squirty water bottles using it like how you would punish a pet cat.
from the beginning of this Archon quest, I never felt so nervous. It was like I'm really prepared to crush the sages and I really had the intension of saving Kusanali. And the quest did really well... It was not rushed, full of action and good character build up. I was little depressed seeing Rukkhadevata getting erased... I really felt that... And I love to see the loyalty of Cyno towards lesser lord and how he truly appreciate her. The moment when he said "judgment in the name of a god" gave me goosebumps. Although Scara is a villain here, I felt little sad when he said "I will never go back". He's not bad but things pushed him to be what he is now, hope he will redeem himself... Dottore is such an intimidating personality and I like he at least had "honesty". Last but not least, I really want Dehya to become a matra, but I do respect her decision....
I think Rahman and Azar's voice acting haven't been as acknowledged by everyone as much as they should be because they did such a good job their roles. Kudos to Azar's va for making such a believably evil sage.
1:57:40 You can rewatch Nilou's cutscene again. There's that scene there that words were being transmitted to the guards' Akasha Terminal. Since Nilou was performing in front of the Akademiya and caused a great audience to witness her performance, that forced Azar to announce the Prohibition Act of Public Artistic Performances. To deliver the announcement, the sages of the Akademiya must use the Knowledge Capsules. Little did they know, Alhaitham already swapped one of the Knowledge Capsules that is used for the "ban" announcement. That's why in the cutscene, the Artistic Performances Ban announcement was immediately overwritten by the words "Lesser Lord Kusanali went out of the Sanctuary of Surasthana, immediately seize her." That's why instead of arresting Nilou because of her act violation, they went to seize Nahida instead. In short, Nilou's purpose is to get the Grand Sage to use the Knowledge Capsule.
Personally I think the 2nd and 3rd descenders may be more obvious than we think. I think Alice is the third, shes been mentioned a LOT of times to be able to travel to other worlds. Which means she either knows how from travelling to Teyvat OR she was taught by someone. That someone I'm presuming is potentially Gold because I believe if Alice isnt the third descender, someone she knows is. Though I believe Golds from khaenria'h through and through because of Dainsleif saying her knowledge originates there. As for the second descender, I think its one of the harbingers. Which is how the fatui KNOW about them. My candidate personally is Columbina, she's the harbinger we know the least about, even compared to Pierro who we can safely assume is from Khaenria'h, not to mention Childes voiceline sets her up to be something otherworldly or slightly disturbing. "Somethings not right with her." Her ranking as number 3 would back that up too, as the only reason Dottore may be above her is because they arent just ranked by strength but utility as well, Dottore is VERY STRONG but its arguable that he ranks above her due to the utility his prospectives gave him. Idk its such a lore bomb of a quest and Im excited that the harbingers tied in so well
I think the First Descender is Phanes (Primordial One), the second is Celestia/Heavenly Principles (The Second Who Came), not sure about the third (could be Alice, could be a character yet to be introduced, or the Outlander who married the queen of Seelies in the distant past). The reason why Nahida thinks Celestia is the First Descender is because Celestia has banned learning about anything that preceded them (ex. Orobashi was executed for accidentally reading the book "Before Sun and Moon"), so I wouldn't be surprised if everything about Phanes, his Four Shades, and the Seven Sovereign aren't recorded in Irminsul.
I saw a theory about the 2 heirs of the king in the heaven (the primordial one ig). The 4 shadows of the 1st heir are God of time, (no idea), (no idea), and our sibling respectively. The 1st heir established what now known as Teyvat and made God of time as the supreme diety. But the second heir came to find 1st one. The shadows of the second heir... Heavenly principles, (no idea), (no idea),and us the traveler... Defeated the god of time and took control over Teyvat. The 4 shadows of the second heir who come to Teyvat, the world made by 1st heir, are the Descenders of this world. And heavenly principles is ruling over Teyvat with the help of the Archon system she developed...with chess pieces as sign of their honesty and obedience to her.

I’d just like to say that Dainsleif cannot be a Descender. He’s the Twilight Sword of Khaenri’ah and appears to be more connected to Irminsul because of his other title: Dainsleif, the Bough Keeper. We know 3 Descenders so far but it’s important to understand that Nahida did NOT confirm anything about the Celestia being the first. She just said it’s her hypothesis, it’s her best guess. So far the Descenders are: 1. Phanes, the Primordial One (could also be Celestia) 2. The Second Who Came (could also be Celestia) 3. ??? (Unknown identity, could be Alice with a 50% certainty) 4. Aether or Lumine, The Traveler
Also it basically confirms that Paimon can’t be the Heavenly Principles/“Unknown God” since she is affected by tampering with Irminsul, while Descenders are not.
I love this quest. For me, I love well written antagonist more than well written protagonist (not saying that both are not good), so I really love the fatui vibes in this quest.
Just to make everyone's day sadder about rukkhadevata, it's not just npcs that have no knowledge of her anymore. Check any in game literature and traveler's voicelines theyve removed any mention of her, the game itself literally wants us to forget her
I feel like Nahida is more like the child of rukkhadevata rather than another form of her, if you consider trees and plants and how some propagate. Nahida was the purest branch of irminsul tree. kinda like we plant rose branches to get new rose trees, rukkhadevata planted the branch to make Nahida. so in terms of that, Nahida is like the daughter of Rkkhadevata, rather than being another form of her. so I don't think we can say that they are the same
True. That is so interesting. Irminsul really has so much power.. which makes me wonder what the person powerful enough to control or change it, is capable of… not only nahida, but also the person who added/changed the sibling’s data in irminsul
Finishing this whole quest will change the game forever. Rukhadevata has become “who’s that?” person, including all of her information has been removed or modified in characters voiceline, npc dialogues, books , items, sumeru plants such as rukashava mushrooms, and in characters story quests such as tighnari and nilou. All statues of the seven will no longer have the faint voice “world...forget me...”. Nahida is now the one and only dendro archon. (We are in “no greater lord rukhadevata” timeline)
I love this quest. Seeing Nahida standing up for herself and being firmer with her will is something that touches my heart. I'm glad she's getting stronger and I hope she continues to grow even further, more powerful than her predecessors. ♥
This quest had me sobbing multiple times T_T I LOVED your reactions to the cutscenes and the arguments between Al Haithem and Kaveh~ I am actually so impressed you catch onto things so quickly! I'm a little disappointed that, for the first time, they made me feel something for Scaramouche, but then went "Oh nooooo...Anyway" and moved on without skipping a beat. XD Totally ruined it.
@@awsomeclaudy I mean, I'm not going to say I know what should have happened instead, but it was some severe mood whiplash. Frankly I didn't expect them to deal with Irminsul in the AQ at all, as it was barely relevant to the overarching plot; it was more about the Sages' corruption and their plan to create a God. Irminsul had been sick for 500 years and there was no indication that things were so urgent that there was an exceptional time pressure. But they had to rush it so that Dottore could show up and swipe the gnoses before the AQ ended.
Everyone who is confused about the burning of the tree...that wasn't a trailer of what happens, that was a video about the Fatui, and the tree burning was just a dream Collei had.
If I remember correctly, in the Special Program, they said that even though we have Act 5 now, the story in Sumeru isn't actually over yet. If I had to guess, we're going to have another Dainsleif quest before we go to Fontaine, but that's just a guess. After all, we had one right before we went to Inazuma, and we had another right before going to Sumeru. Perhaps the burning of the Irminsul could still happen, or perhaps it was just a vision of what _could_ have happened. I guess we'll find out.
@@RandomGirl119 I sincerely doubt it will happen. I think they were just showing Collei dream that for 2 reasons, 1 being that they don't normally dream so she was confused, and 2 as an omen of potential disaster coming to Sumeru. But you aren't wrong about there being more content. Basically, it was the Archon Quest as it pertains to Sumeru's story that was told over those 5 acts. Similar to how in Inazuma, it ended after defeating Shogun and ending the Vision Hunt Decree, but then continued in Liyue and the Chasm AND they expanded more Inazuma story after Shogun pt 2 story (ending Sakoku Decree). So of course there will certainly still be more before Fontaine.
This quest has been amazing. The VAs made this so real. I was at the edge of my seat all the way through. Kaveh and Alhaitham seem to be the Diluc and Kaeya of Sumeru
I love how the Traveler already realized that the Archon Quests are essentially side missions to finding his sister that he just gave up asking the archons about it
The fact that removing something from Irminsul completely erases it from existence is pretty terrifying. Who's to say that removing Rukkhadevata was the first time something was removed from Irminsul. How much of Teyvat's history is true and how much of it was altered? Also, while it makes sense from our perspectives that the Sages got off lightly, it's a fitting punishment in the context of the universal retcon since the new timeline of events makes it so that it was just the Sages losing faith in Nahida's status as a god and trying to find a replacement rather than them straight up ignoring her in favor of a manufactured god.
Plus the fact that it seems like the Traveler's sibling was inserted into the Irminsul, thus once again completely warping reality to fit that narrative into history and existence. The nature of Teyvat is truly strange and scary, as if the Irminsul is the core and foundation of the world's entire existence, or at least its fabric of reality. The only thing stopping anyone from Teyvat from figuring this out and using it to their advantage is the fact that it changes their perception, as well, which means the only ones who can discover this mechanism and utilize it are outsiders. So... in that case, who integrated the Sibling's existence into the Irminsul? Was it the Sibling themselves, or was it one of the other Descenders? The downside of the Sibling inserting themselves into the Irminsul is that they would also come under Irminsul's influence and thus probably forget they did that in the first place. Them becoming part of Teyvat via the Irminsul explains why they referred to Khaenri'ah as "the homeland" in the Dainsleif quest in the Chasm.
I love that we have a bunch more recognizable npc characters Setaria, Rahman, and Dunyarzad and I also love that the desert will be receiving a lot of education now that Nahida is in control it just feels so nice hearing Cyno, Setaria, and Rahman talking about the bright future the desert has
The lore drop at the end made me realize that we are playing the "Teyvat Chapter" and there could possibly be Abyys chapter and Celestia Chapter or maybe Khaenriah chapter(?)
Khaenri'ah was the last part in the Teyvat chapter trailer though. That definitely includes the "Abyss" because our sibling is the end goal. I'd guess to some extent that includes Celestia. After Teyvat it's probably other worlds.
The voice acting is incredebile...if you listen carefully you can hear that Rukkhadevatas voice starts shaking at the point when she is saying "Goodbye people of sumeru..." I already broke down when she touched nahidas cheek and they hugged. This cutscene is so sad and beautiful at the same time. Who could think there is something more sad than makotos final Goodbye to Ei 😭😭😭😭💚
3.3 is my favourite archon quest! The cutscene such as Al Haitham being able to control the stolen divine knowledge capsule, Nilou's dance, and when Nahida said "The FIrst sage of Buer", just made me feel so many things! Isak as Nahida is too funny, and Scara's boss fight is epic.
38:00 When I got to this scene where we ask Tighnari about Dottore, it started raining, and it rained throughout the entire scene, even in the flashbacks, so I thought it was scripted since rain is so rare in Sumeru. I'm shocked to find out it's not scripted! It was SO much more dramatic with the rain!! If I had known it wasn't scripted, I would've used the PlayStation Share feature to save the footage!
Looks like i'm getting a sense on how Teyvat works as an IT. Teyvat = Domain Domain Admin = Celestia(?) Irminsul = Database of Teyvat Dendro Archon = Database Admin (Keycaps on her NA, cursor in Charge attack) Descenders = An object that are from another Domain (world). Abyss = Network (Which is why they can just go through places like portals which is interconnected like a LAN). There should be an "Network Admin" entity who the Abyss sibling met which put her information on the database of Teyvat. (Maybe Highest ranking Abyss). You may also treat Azar and the Sages as a Hacker to create a god without the power of an "Admin".
also since this time i was just being able to fully focus on the dialogue when we hide from the fatui in port ormos while the two men talk, they really hinted at there being dottore clones. they mentioned how different he acts in Sumeru from usual. that it wasn't normal. that's bc he had CLONES and each one highlighted a certain personality.
2 days late but i wanna say. This is by far the best Archon quest we have gotten. In previous chapters we have basically got NO info about anything related to our sibling. Nothing at all related to whats going on. But Nahida here has gone and given us so much info, and is actually USEFUL when it comes to that. Venti: Go see Morax Zhongli: Go see Raiden Ei / Yae: idk go see Kusanali Nahida: Here is actual info you might want to know.
Read Zhongli's line called About Zhongli 5. You will find something very interesting. I learnt from someone as well. Don't forget that only 3 of the 7 original Archons remain since Nahida became the original one after this quest.

I loved this Archon Quest so much. Nahida is just so precious and didn't deserve any of the treatment she got from the sages... she could've done so much more for Sumeru if she's had the chance. But what I dislike the most is THE SAGES DIDN'T GET A GOOD BEATING and I actually felt bad a little for Scarahatface, I had the thought a while ago that Dottore might have messed with his memory. EDIT: This Quest made me love Abshotman even more, please gib him to me already, I need this man on my account
Yes. I agree with you and Cyno that they should receive harsher punishments. Now that I think about it, isn't it a little odd that The doctor didn't also negotiate with the Balladeer's custody? Seems like The Doctor really has his own agenda not coinciding with the other harbingers

I love this archon quest. the pov changes, the lore dumps. I love how even though as travelers, we're already part and aware of the plan, but as players, we get jabaited by things lmao. I think the best way to describe Nahida and Rukkhadevata's relationship is that of a daughter clone. They are two separate people that have the same DNA.

honestly this quest was a HUGE rollercoaster and i honestly stayed up the day it came out to play it, started at midnight and was awake at like 6:30 AM it was SO fun but jeez there were so many times i panicked that the plan would fail lMAO
I always wondered about the chat Zhongli has with the Traveler in Guyun Stone Forest, I knew it foreshadowed something, but wasn't completely sure what: “History records, but history may be changed. This incident proved that. Time is a mighty force, and histories twist in its flow... I need to find a better way of recording history in order to engrave its truth. Stone carvings were one such ancient method. But unchanging stone, immovable earth, even one such as myself... Someday, we may all disappear. Therefore, I thought of you, Traveler. You are one who crosses the celestial atlas, and who passes through countless worlds. If our history is engraved in your memory, it will one day accompany you into another world. As long as a Traveler like you is able to record what happened, then a backup of sorts will exist for times and tides of Teyvat.” Also, Raiden said it: "If you'd remember me, I'll live forever" And of course Dainsleif: "Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave". The whole game changed after Rukkadhevata, all conversations, all item descriptions, all lore books... Teyvat, has changed to accommodate a version of her never existing. Even the Aranara, which means "the forest will remember" belief, which is why they don't give a crap about their memories and can live with the goal of turning into trees to "help it remember"... is pointless. So... what the hell is the point of the Irminsul existence? If Akasha is similar to it, a server to keep data in an emulated world full of npcs? Why should we care as the Traveler about Teyvat at all now? Irminsul has registered our twin as native of Teyvat, how? That means our twin probably will never be able to get out. Period. Is that why the Traveler twin wants to get rid of Teyvat? Because it doesn't matter in the long run what happens to it or just... is a jail for them? The only reason I play Genshin: the lore and plot. And what theories inspire in my head.
Honestly the best archon quest so far my only issue is the pacing when we defeated scaramouche and they just continued on without even leaving a moment to comprehend he just lost everything for a fourth time and lost is heart a second time. For some reason its starting to be a pattern with harbinger where they just dont give you time to process their defeat which is strange since they are a popular set of characters (the same happened with signora where the they just straight up continued) tho im happy the acknowledged him at the end where question nahida. But besides that little segment where im sure he will get his time when hes released next update its was incredible
I mean tbh even thoug the traveler now know about his past and all i doubt they will be buddy buddy with a guy that try to kill them like 3 time, kill idk how many peapole, try to kill nahida and finally hes part of the fatui which btw they are still really suspicious about. My theory is Teyvat is really a world of game & AI, we traveler really is a gamer who come to this world first appear in Khanrieh but captured by them and make a clone as our sibling, then the sibling travel around the world and found out the truth and freed and grabbed us to leave the world and we were stopped by Heavenly Principle... This explains why our sibling is from this world but we' aren't, we are summoned to become the next heavenly principle... the GENSHIN.

Btw, Kusanali and Rukketavata are different people, it's not the same body with different memories. Nahida is more like a copy/rebirth of Rukketavata with a new, pure body free from forbidden knowledge pollution. The Rukketavata's old body died and withered away leaving only the memory fragment in Irmensal. The cutscene in the previous archon quest where Rukketavata used lots of power and shrank happened years before the archon war, she's been small like Nahida for a very long time before Nahida was ever born.
I might say that Alice is one of the "Descenders" because in lore- It says that her work is Connected to "Borders of Teyvat" and she also travels the whole Teyvat while she's at it, and it also says that she has otherworldly knowledge (unique knowledge) for example ; the telephone like abstract that we used on the Version 2.8 event (summer event) to call or talk to Venti as Venti have the same Device that originally came from Alice.

In my headcannon... Nahida tore all the sages new assholes before they went out to start training in the Avidya Forest. The Archons about our Sibling: Venti: ehe Zhongli: NDA Ei: IDK Nahida: brings them up without us even asking and actually gives us information
AlHaitham and the team playing Azar like an absolute fiddle was truly mesmerising. Even if he's got the personality of a door frame, he's way too 10head for any of us.
Remember how Haypasia almost starved herself dead meditating? Multiple times? And how she had a camp with almost no creature comforts, not even a house just a cave? That's Azar and the other Sages' _lives_ now. They're never going to be welcome outside of the Avidiya Forest, and will be living the forest hobo life until the day they die. Quite the fall from the very tippy top of civilization and comfort they relaxed in before all this. It _is_ ludicrously merciful in comparison to their laundry list of crimes, but c'mon, let's not have Nahida's first official acts as Archon be a series of executions.

I loved that unlike other archon quests, where usually we do everything, in this one we stay locked up for a while and we rely on our teammates to do their part. It feels like an actual team and like we’re not the only heroes in this story for once. It’s so refreshing
Not to mention that unlike in Liyue and Inazuma where the traveler constantly ran away from authorities (suspected for killing Rex Lapis and fighting with the Raiden Shogun), they intentionally got locked up to save a god

Experiencing the story solely through Traveler's PoV caused the issue in the Inazuma story where the resistance just seems to show up out of nowhere for no good reason at Tenshukaku. Sure, Ayato's character demo patches up that part of the story, but it really should've been handled better in-game. Even then, though, there's also the issue that our time with the resistance felt more like a visit than us joining them. It felt like we were there for a couple or so days before running off to the Delusion factory.

I love the little tête-à-têtes we saw with Dottore and Scaramouche. Really makes the antagonists well-rounded characters instead of just evil, shadowy caricatures.

The Dottore and Nahida conversation was the most tense I’ve ever felt in this game. I absolutely love both characters and really enjoyed how Dottore is smart enough to know when not to fight. Excited to see more of him later on
it was the first time a scene without battle put me in edge. Dottore's schemes and Nahida's cleverness was immaculately well portrayed and i think this is my favorite part in the archon quest (even though there wasn't a moment in this quest that wasn't good!)
What I like about the Artistic Performance Banning Act part was that it wasn't just randomly pulled out of their asses. If you rewatch the cutscene waaay back in 3.0 where Azar confronted Nilou which stopped the performance of the Dance he said he'll order the scribe to write the said Act, the scribe who later turns out to be Alhaitham.
Exactly! That's also where we first heard the term Jnagarbha Day. After walking away, he tells Setaria to remind him to have the Scribe write up that law _before_ next Jnagarbha Day. That's how Alhaitham knew about that law and that it was going to be entered into the Akasha that day, because he was the one who was ordered to write it. He also knew that the Grand Sage had to have already checked that Capsule and wouldn't check it again because he had already written it days before Jnagarbha Day.

Also the way she described the descenders, it puts the "Paimon is the unknown god/heavenly principle" theory into very unlikely status (of course, thay wouldn't stop the conspiracy theories regarding their origins)

For those who is still a bit confuse about Alheitham's misleading information distributed to the guards, here an easy explanation:
1. Knowledged capsules are like boxes with labels on the outside and a message in the inside.
2. The sages planned to use 'Box A' labelled as 'Art Ban Law' with its details to arrest anyone who dances in public.
3. Alheithem yoinked the 'Real Box A' and replaced with the 'Fake Box A' with the 'same label' on the outside. However, the text is changed to 'Nahida ran away. All guards go into town and arrest her'.
4. Once the Sages knew Nilou was dancing in front of their house, they ordered their minion "Distribute the order in the box labelled 'Art Ban Law' to all the guards. They can follow whatever order is in that box."
5. 'Fake Box A' contents will be distributed.
I get that part. But I recall the Grand Sage mentioned about always checking the knowledge capsules before inserting them into the Akasha. What's that about?

There are a few explanations I can guess:
1. The original capsule was already at the desk of the Grand Sage for a long time. Along with the other capsules waiting to be put into the Akasha. Meaning that these capsules was already reviewed by the Grand Sage himself. Therefore, since Alheitham 'smuggled' the false information into the group of capsules already reviewed, there was no need for the Grand Sage to review it again.
2. Remember when the text was first distributed? At first, the text was normal then it glitched and changed to the 'smuggled' text. I believe that was the modification Alheitham also made with the Knowledge Capsule. The false information will only appear when it was distributed. Just think of it like coding; ['Text A' will change to 'Text B' when 'Action C' is completed.] I guess it is a countermeasure made in case the contents of the fake capsule were to be review before putting into the Akasha.
3. The Grand Sage was careless since Alheitham's plan made them believed that our plan was fallen apart and they have captured us. Everything is under control.

You can also think that the sages are so narcissistic in their knowledge and confidence in the Akasha that what Alhaitham did was nothing but an insignificant pin in their plan. There’s also the fact that everyone in Sumeru had became so accustomed to the Akasha that it has become their crutch for everything and anything; meaning that if one person inputs information into it even though it’s 100% false, anyone who wears it for a long time will believe it’s 100% true. Kinda like how anybody can pull up information immediately on social media’s or google, but unlike us who can actually search and find the truth behind the statement, the residents of Sumeru have no other means of fact-checking them.
@@unravelmuffin and Alhaitham gave him two capsules, one with his report on the Traveler, which Azar, being suspicious of Alhaitham, checked, and the other with the act on prohibiting public performances (in the 2nd Archon quest Azar told Setaria to tell the Scribe, aka Alhaitham to prepare this act). Alhaitham basically swapped the original act with the new one, which had the act, but also the information on Kusanali escaping and the Traveller's conviction of her being freed successfully.
Hope this clears the confusion for anyone reading it
Nilou's performance was to force Azar to announce the ban, and thus inadvertently give the order to search for Kusanali. If Nilou didn't perform, they would have had to wait until Azar announced the ban, which could've happened who knows when.

42:46 I think Tighnari was keeping things civil to protect Collei. Tighnari knows about Dottore's involvement in Collei's past, but Dottore (presumably) doesn't know that Tighnari knows. So if Tighnari behaved all snappy seemingly for no reason, Dottore would realise that Tighnari knows something.

I agree. He knows he can’t match up to Dottore in terms of combat strength and that if he was hostile Dottore would probably kill/hurt him and Hapaysia leaving no one to take care of Collei. He was being smart, not kind. As a side note, even if he did mention Collei the Dottore he was talking to would still probably not care that much since he isn’t the clone who hurt her and they don’t share a mind as far as we know

This is why Zhongli told the Traveler in Zhongli's 1st story quest that he need to be the bare witness of the happenings of the world in case the memories would be forgotten by the people of Tevyat since he is form another world therefore he is the only one that will not be affected when everyone has already about Greater Lord Rukkhadevata
I truly adore these cast, unlike the other cast from previous regions, all of the sumeru cast have their own important task and not just background characters. For the most part we are the background character.
Liyue kinda have that but unfortunately the story only focus on the other cast helping the traveller near the end of the story.
To be fair all regions really have this Mondstat being really simple, the main cast being what 6 charcters Diluc, Jean,Venti, Kayea, Lisa, Amber. So the cast expanded massively every region and I do agree seeing all the cast we met appear throughout is great. But technically in every region including Inuzuma all the cast were useful but after they did there thing they stopped showing up which again was upsetting. Furthering my reason Collei for example basically served as a guide like Amber was useful but after the first arc she shows up twice for 2 small conversations. So I think the takeaway is the charcters introduced can serve there purpose and if possible don't just toss them away.
Sorry it's 6 in the morning where I'm at and I went on a rant. TLDR: I think that all regions had this basically. And as long as the cast show up and aren't introduced for 1 arc and never show up in the archon quest I'll be happy.
This Archon Quest is definitely my favorite one so far! Also, I just want to say that Scaramouche's VA blew me away at around 2:44:36. Really gave me chills!

I thought of Zhongli as well with the whole "forget me" part. At the same time, I thought it was just a coincidence. But now it has me thinking about the dendro archon making new segments of herself as a subtle hint maybe? Or just a coincidence with what he said. Either way, I found it so interesting and an OMG moment.
When talking about the Balladeer with Nahida at the end, when she says "Don't worry, I wont let him do any evil" I just picture her with one of those squirty water bottles using it like how you would punish a pet cat.
from the beginning of this Archon quest, I never felt so nervous. It was like I'm really prepared to crush the sages and I really had the intension of saving Kusanali. And the quest did really well... It was not rushed, full of action and good character build up. I was little depressed seeing Rukkhadevata getting erased... I really felt that... And I love to see the loyalty of Cyno towards lesser lord and how he truly appreciate her. The moment when he said "judgment in the name of a god" gave me goosebumps. Although Scara is a villain here, I felt little sad when he said "I will never go back". He's not bad but things pushed him to be what he is now, hope he will redeem himself... Dottore is such an intimidating personality and I like he at least had "honesty". Last but not least, I really want Dehya to become a matra, but I do respect her decision....

I think Rahman and Azar's voice acting haven't been as acknowledged by everyone as much as they should be because they did such a good job their roles. Kudos to Azar's va for making such a believably evil sage.
1:57:40 You can rewatch Nilou's cutscene again. There's that scene there that words were being transmitted to the guards' Akasha Terminal. Since Nilou was performing in front of the Akademiya and caused a great audience to witness her performance, that forced Azar to announce the Prohibition Act of Public Artistic Performances. To deliver the announcement, the sages of the Akademiya must use the Knowledge Capsules. Little did they know, Alhaitham already swapped one of the Knowledge Capsules that is used for the "ban" announcement. That's why in the cutscene, the Artistic Performances Ban announcement was immediately overwritten by the words "Lesser Lord Kusanali went out of the Sanctuary of Surasthana, immediately seize her." That's why instead of arresting Nilou because of her act violation, they went to seize Nahida instead. In short, Nilou's purpose is to get the Grand Sage to use the Knowledge Capsule.
Personally I think the 2nd and 3rd descenders may be more obvious than we think. I think Alice is the third, shes been mentioned a LOT of times to be able to travel to other worlds. Which means she either knows how from travelling to Teyvat OR she was taught by someone. That someone I'm presuming is potentially Gold because I believe if Alice isnt the third descender, someone she knows is. Though I believe Golds from khaenria'h through and through because of Dainsleif saying her knowledge originates there. As for the second descender, I think its one of the harbingers. Which is how the fatui KNOW about them. My candidate personally is Columbina, she's the harbinger we know the least about, even compared to Pierro who we can safely assume is from Khaenria'h, not to mention Childes voiceline sets her up to be something otherworldly or slightly disturbing. "Somethings not right with her." Her ranking as number 3 would back that up too, as the only reason Dottore may be above her is because they arent just ranked by strength but utility as well, Dottore is VERY STRONG but its arguable that he ranks above her due to the utility his prospectives gave him. Idk its such a lore bomb of a quest and Im excited that the harbingers tied in so well
I bet columbina is the strongest than dottore and pierro and she literally hiding it or let say columbina is a secret weapon.
I think the First Descender is Phanes (Primordial One), the second is Celestia/Heavenly Principles (The Second Who Came), not sure about the third (could be Alice, could be a character yet to be introduced, or the Outlander who married the queen of Seelies in the distant past). The reason why Nahida thinks Celestia is the First Descender is because Celestia has banned learning about anything that preceded them (ex. Orobashi was executed for accidentally reading the book "Before Sun and Moon"), so I wouldn't be surprised if everything about Phanes, his Four Shades, and the Seven Sovereign aren't recorded in Irminsul.
I saw a theory about the 2 heirs of the king in the heaven (the primordial one ig).
The 4 shadows of the 1st heir are God of time, (no idea), (no idea), and our sibling respectively. The 1st heir established what now known as Teyvat and made God of time as the supreme diety. But the second heir came to find 1st one. The shadows of the second heir... Heavenly principles, (no idea), (no idea),and us the traveler... Defeated the god of time and took control over Teyvat. The 4 shadows of the second heir who come to Teyvat, the world made by 1st heir, are the Descenders of this world.
And heavenly principles is ruling over Teyvat with the help of the Archon system she developed...with chess pieces as sign of their honesty and obedience to her.

I’d just like to say that Dainsleif cannot be a Descender. He’s the Twilight Sword of Khaenri’ah and appears to be more connected to Irminsul because of his other title: Dainsleif, the Bough Keeper.
We know 3 Descenders so far but it’s important to understand that Nahida did NOT confirm anything about the Celestia being the first. She just said it’s her hypothesis, it’s her best guess. So far the Descenders are:
1. Phanes, the Primordial One (could also be Celestia)
2. The Second Who Came (could also be Celestia)
3. ??? (Unknown identity, could be Alice with a 50% certainty)
4. Aether or Lumine, The Traveler
And then there's aloy, the 5th kekw
Also it basically confirms that Paimon can’t be the Heavenly Principles/“Unknown God” since she is affected by tampering with Irminsul, while Descenders are not.
I love this quest. For me, I love well written antagonist more than well written protagonist (not saying that both are not good), so I really love the fatui vibes in this quest.
Just to make everyone's day sadder about rukkhadevata, it's not just npcs that have no knowledge of her anymore. Check any in game literature and traveler's voicelines theyve removed any mention of her, the game itself literally wants us to forget her
I feel like Nahida is more like the child of rukkhadevata rather than another form of her, if you consider trees and plants and how some propagate. Nahida was the purest branch of irminsul tree. kinda like we plant rose branches to get new rose trees, rukkhadevata planted the branch to make Nahida. so in terms of that, Nahida is like the daughter of Rkkhadevata, rather than being another form of her. so I don't think we can say that they are the same
True. That is so interesting. Irminsul really has so much power.. which makes me wonder what the person powerful enough to control or change it, is capable of… not only nahida, but also the person who added/changed the sibling’s data in irminsul
Finishing this whole quest will change the game forever. Rukhadevata has become “who’s that?” person, including all of her information has been removed or modified in characters voiceline, npc dialogues, books , items, sumeru plants such as rukashava mushrooms, and in characters story quests such as tighnari and nilou. All statues of the seven will no longer have the faint voice “world...forget me...”. Nahida is now the one and only dendro archon. (We are in “no greater lord rukhadevata” timeline)
the lore bomb at the end was MASSIVE! This has got to be one of the best archon quests if not THE best one we've gotten.

I love this quest. Seeing Nahida standing up for herself and being firmer with her will is something that touches my heart. I'm glad she's getting stronger and I hope she continues to grow even further, more powerful than her predecessors. ♥

Frankly I didn't expect them to deal with Irminsul in the AQ at all, as it was barely relevant to the overarching plot; it was more about the Sages' corruption and their plan to create a God. Irminsul had been sick for 500 years and there was no indication that things were so urgent that there was an exceptional time pressure. But they had to rush it so that Dottore could show up and swipe the gnoses before the AQ ended.
It really was emotional knowing he was made without a heart so that he could hold the gnosis and he got rejected again and again
Everyone who is confused about the burning of the tree...that wasn't a trailer of what happens, that was a video about the Fatui, and the tree burning was just a dream Collei had.
It was also in the animated teaser (the same one where Dunyarzad disappears).
If I remember correctly, in the Special Program, they said that even though we have Act 5 now, the story in Sumeru isn't actually over yet. If I had to guess, we're going to have another Dainsleif quest before we go to Fontaine, but that's just a guess. After all, we had one right before we went to Inazuma, and we had another right before going to Sumeru. Perhaps the burning of the Irminsul could still happen, or perhaps it was just a vision of what _could_ have happened. I guess we'll find out.

I think they were just showing Collei dream that for 2 reasons, 1 being that they don't normally dream so she was confused, and 2 as an omen of potential disaster coming to Sumeru. But you aren't wrong about there being more content. Basically, it was the Archon Quest as it pertains to Sumeru's story that was told over those 5 acts. Similar to how in Inazuma, it ended after defeating Shogun and ending the Vision Hunt Decree, but then continued in Liyue and the Chasm AND they expanded more Inazuma story after Shogun pt 2 story (ending Sakoku Decree). So of course there will certainly still be more before Fontaine.
Sumeru's Archon quest is the best by far because of it's storytelling and lore!
I like how Bran talks about burning down the tree even though Nahida is connected to the tree. If we burn down the tree then we also kill Nahida
This quest has been amazing. The VAs made this so real. I was at the edge of my seat all the way through. Kaveh and Alhaitham seem to be the Diluc and Kaeya of Sumeru
I love how the Traveler already realized that the Archon Quests are essentially side missions to finding his sister that he just gave up asking the archons about it

The fact that removing something from Irminsul completely erases it from existence is pretty terrifying. Who's to say that removing Rukkhadevata was the first time something was removed from Irminsul. How much of Teyvat's history is true and how much of it was altered?
Also, while it makes sense from our perspectives that the Sages got off lightly, it's a fitting punishment in the context of the universal retcon since the new timeline of events makes it so that it was just the Sages losing faith in Nahida's status as a god and trying to find a replacement rather than them straight up ignoring her in favor of a manufactured god.
Plus the fact that it seems like the Traveler's sibling was inserted into the Irminsul, thus once again completely warping reality to fit that narrative into history and existence. The nature of Teyvat is truly strange and scary, as if the Irminsul is the core and foundation of the world's entire existence, or at least its fabric of reality. The only thing stopping anyone from Teyvat from figuring this out and using it to their advantage is the fact that it changes their perception, as well, which means the only ones who can discover this mechanism and utilize it are outsiders.
So... in that case, who integrated the Sibling's existence into the Irminsul? Was it the Sibling themselves, or was it one of the other Descenders? The downside of the Sibling inserting themselves into the Irminsul is that they would also come under Irminsul's influence and thus probably forget they did that in the first place. Them becoming part of Teyvat via the Irminsul explains why they referred to Khaenri'ah as "the homeland" in the Dainsleif quest in the Chasm.
I love that we have a bunch more recognizable npc characters Setaria, Rahman, and Dunyarzad and I also love that the desert will be receiving a lot of education now that Nahida is in control it just feels so nice hearing Cyno, Setaria, and Rahman talking about the bright future the desert has
My boy scara, the cut scene where nahida takes the gnosis just makes me sad for him :( I fking love this boy.

The lore drop at the end made me realize that we are playing the "Teyvat Chapter" and there could possibly be Abyys chapter and Celestia Chapter or maybe Khaenriah chapter(?)
Khaenri'ah was the last part in the Teyvat chapter trailer though. That definitely includes the "Abyss" because our sibling is the end goal. I'd guess to some extent that includes Celestia. After Teyvat it's probably other worlds.
Assuming any more Genshin that is.
The voice acting is incredebile...if you listen carefully you can hear that Rukkhadevatas voice starts shaking at the point when she is saying "Goodbye people of sumeru..."
I already broke down when she touched nahidas cheek and they hugged.
This cutscene is so sad and beautiful at the same time.

3.3 is my favourite archon quest! The cutscene such as Al Haitham being able to control the stolen divine knowledge capsule, Nilou's dance, and when Nahida said "The FIrst sage of Buer", just made me feel so many things! Isak as Nahida is too funny, and Scara's boss fight is epic.
38:00 When I got to this scene where we ask Tighnari about Dottore, it started raining, and it rained throughout the entire scene, even in the flashbacks, so I thought it was scripted since rain is so rare in Sumeru. I'm shocked to find out it's not scripted! It was SO much more dramatic with the rain!! If I had known it wasn't scripted, I would've used the PlayStation Share feature to save the footage!
This whole quest felt like a movie!

Looks like i'm getting a sense on how Teyvat works as an IT.
Teyvat = Domain
Domain Admin = Celestia(?)
Irminsul = Database of Teyvat
Dendro Archon = Database Admin (Keycaps on her NA, cursor in Charge attack)
Descenders = An object that are from another Domain (world).
Abyss = Network (Which is why they can just go through places like portals which is interconnected like a LAN).
There should be an "Network Admin" entity who the Abyss sibling met which put her information on the database of Teyvat. (Maybe Highest ranking Abyss). You may also treat Azar and the Sages as a Hacker to create a god without the power of an "Admin".
also since this time i was just being able to fully focus on the dialogue when we hide from the fatui in port ormos while the two men talk, they really hinted at there being dottore clones. they mentioned how different he acts in Sumeru from usual. that it wasn't normal. that's bc he had CLONES and each one highlighted a certain personality.

This is by far the best Archon quest we have gotten. In previous chapters we have basically got NO info about anything related to our sibling. Nothing at all related to whats going on.
But Nahida here has gone and given us so much info, and is actually USEFUL when it comes to that.

Zhongli: Go see Raiden
Ei / Yae: idk go see Kusanali
Nahida: Here is actual info you might want to know.
Read Zhongli's line called About Zhongli 5. You will find something very interesting. I learnt from someone as well. Don't forget that only 3 of the 7 original Archons remain since Nahida became the original one after this quest.

I loved this Archon Quest so much. Nahida is just so precious and didn't deserve any of the treatment she got from the sages... she could've done so much more for Sumeru if she's had the chance. But what I dislike the most is THE SAGES DIDN'T GET A GOOD BEATING and I actually felt bad a little for Scarahatface, I had the thought a while ago that Dottore might have messed with his memory.

I just started the video but I'm already so excited to see your reaction with that Alhaitham bit lmao you were the first person I thought of when that happened. I love this archon quest. the pov changes, the lore dumps. I love how even though as travelers, we're already part and aware of the plan, but as players, we get jabaited by things lmao. I sat here for 2 hours trying to process everything.
i agree that Nahida's VA was spectacular in this! that being said... Bran kept praising her for being able to go through a whole range of emotions in a span of a short time... he would be in AWE at my emotional state(s) while scrolling through my FYP
I think the best way to describe Nahida and Rukkhadevata's relationship is that of a daughter clone. They are two separate people that have the same DNA.

honestly this quest was a HUGE rollercoaster and i honestly stayed up the day it came out to play it, started at midnight and was awake at like 6:30 AM

I always wondered about the chat Zhongli has with the Traveler in Guyun Stone Forest, I knew it foreshadowed something, but wasn't completely sure what:
“History records, but history may be changed. This incident proved that. Time is a mighty force, and histories twist in its flow... I need to find a better way of recording history in order to engrave its truth. Stone carvings were one such ancient method. But unchanging stone, immovable earth, even one such as myself... Someday, we may all disappear. Therefore, I thought of you, Traveler. You are one who crosses the celestial atlas, and who passes through countless worlds. If our history is engraved in your memory, it will one day accompany you into another world. As long as a Traveler like you is able to record what happened, then a backup of sorts will exist for times and tides of Teyvat.”
Also, Raiden said it:
"If you'd remember me, I'll live forever"
And of course Dainsleif:
"Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave".
The whole game changed after Rukkadhevata, all conversations, all item descriptions, all lore books...
Teyvat, has changed to accommodate a version of her never existing.
Even the Aranara, which means "the forest will remember" belief, which is why they don't give a crap about their memories and can live with the goal of turning into trees to "help it remember"... is pointless.
So... what the hell is the point of the Irminsul existence? If Akasha is similar to it, a server to keep data in an emulated world full of npcs?
Why should we care as the Traveler about Teyvat at all now? Irminsul has registered our twin as native of Teyvat, how?
That means our twin probably will never be able to get out. Period. Is that why the Traveler twin wants to get rid of Teyvat? Because it doesn't matter in the long run what happens to it or just... is a jail for them?
The only reason I play Genshin: the lore and plot. And what theories inspire in my head.
Honestly the best archon quest so far my only issue is the pacing when we defeated scaramouche and they just continued on without even leaving a moment to comprehend he just lost everything for a fourth time and lost is heart a second time. For some reason its starting to be a pattern with harbinger where they just dont give you time to process their defeat which is strange since they are a popular set of characters (the same happened with signora where the they just straight up continued) tho im happy the acknowledged him at the end where question nahida.
But besides that little segment where im sure he will get his time when hes released next update its was incredible

I mean tbh even thoug the traveler now know about his past and all i doubt they will be buddy buddy with a guy that try to kill them like 3 time, kill idk how many peapole, try to kill nahida and finally hes part of the fatui which btw they are still really suspicious about. Kinda understandble that they will leave him after ending the figh kinda like "finally this guy dead back to work" feeling

My theory is Teyvat is really a world of game & AI, we traveler really is a gamer who come to this world first appear in Khanrieh but captured by them and make a clone as our sibling, then the sibling travel around the world and found out the truth and freed and grabbed us to leave the world and we were stopped by Heavenly Principle...
This explains why our sibling is from this world but we' aren't, we are summoned to become the next heavenly principle... the GENSHIN.
Alhaitham is the mastermind of the plan, he is a genius. It's a pity he didn't become grand sage.
When traveller woke at Ghandarva ville I had awful fear we had started at the very beginning. Like a nightmare samsara
We actually know the 1st and 2nd descendars as we see in the book "before sun and moon"
The first descendars is the primordial one Aka first who came Aka phanes Aka original Celestia
Phanes is a God described to be androgynous and has wings and a crown probably BILLIONS of years ago during pre-historic teyvat phanes invaded teyvat
Originally the species of teyvat are the vishaps
There were 7 sovereigns but phanes fought them for 40 years straight and well won
Then after phanes started to reshape and recreate teyvat
They shaped the mountains carved the rivers made the sun and moon created literally everything
And also while fighting the vishaps phanes created 4 shades of itself
One of them being istaroth and one being theorized to be asmoday / unknown God
A few years passed and another invader arrived Aka the 2nd descendar the second who came
They declared war upon the primordial one and a fight broke out this fight caused the civilization of enakomiya to fall down to the deepest depths of the ocean
Were not sure who won the fight but its likely the second who came won but its impersonating the primordial one
It is also theorized paimon is the primordial one
So basically the 1st is the primordial one (original Celestia) 2nd is the second who came (fake / current Celestia)
Both count as heavenly principles
Btw, Kusanali and Rukketavata are different people, it's not the same body with different memories. Nahida is more like a copy/rebirth of Rukketavata with a new, pure body free from forbidden knowledge pollution. The Rukketavata's old body died and withered away leaving only the memory fragment in Irmensal.
The cutscene in the previous archon quest where Rukketavata used lots of power and shrank happened years before the archon war, she's been small like Nahida for a very long time before Nahida was ever born.
I might say that Alice is one of the "Descenders" because in lore- It says that her work is Connected to "Borders of Teyvat" and she also travels the whole Teyvat while she's at it, and it also says that she has otherworldly knowledge (unique knowledge) for example ; the telephone like abstract that we used on the Version 2.8 event (summer event) to call or talk to Venti as Venti have the same Device that originally came from Alice.

It took me two days to get through this video... and it was SO worth it.
This is the 3rd stream of this quest that I've watched but everytime Scara picks up Nahida I giggle a little.

In my headcannon... Nahida tore all the sages new assholes before they went out to start training in the Avidya Forest.

Nahida: brings them up without us even asking and actually gives us information
AlHaitham and the team playing Azar like an absolute fiddle was truly mesmerising. Even if he's got the personality of a door frame, he's way too 10head for any of us.
Remember how Haypasia almost starved herself dead meditating? Multiple times? And how she had a camp with almost no creature comforts, not even a house just a cave? That's Azar and the other Sages' _lives_ now. They're never going to be welcome outside of the Avidiya Forest, and will be living the forest hobo life until the day they die. Quite the fall from the very tippy top of civilization and comfort they relaxed in before all this.
It _is_ ludicrously merciful in comparison to their laundry list of crimes, but c'mon, let's not have Nahida's first official acts as Archon be a series of executions.
Nahida/Kusanali is my favorite Archon so far, she Played Dottore, helped us more than any other Archon AND is super smart!!!!
