Very nice. Do the customers keep those bags or do they have drop ties below? Cheers!

Hi, the customer keeps the bags. On their next order we give them a £5 deposit, for any bags returned. Then we can reuse them again.

I don't get it - there's a huge hopper but the guy sits there tipping in a handful of pieces at a time? What's the point of that? Use it as a surge bin so your machine/operator isn't wasting so much time. He can be getting another bucket while the last bucket is being cleaned.
And since you're using a skeleton bucket to pick up the firewood, you're leaving a lot of debris in the bins (that continually builds up) and the cleaner isn't doing much as it could/should. I'd use a standard bucket to pick up the firewood and run it all thru the cleaner and keep the debris in the bins managable. If the issue is there's too much debris, instead of dropping into the bag, drop on the ground in a large pile, then re-run into bags. You need to get a handle on all that debris in the bins. Finally, I'd replace that thin sheet metal that guides wood from the conveyor into your bag hopper with some grizzly bars that would allow the remaining fines to drop out before going in the bag.
How about greasing and oiling that squeaky conveyor?
Also, that inefficient Japa processor cutting bar setup has always annoyed me. It is so slow that it wastes a lot of time. I'd install an adjustable stop so the bar doesn't need to fully retract when processing smaller diameter logs. Seems to take as much time resetting itself for the next cut as it does actually cutting.

Hi - it's a bit of a fudge, that grader is actually meant for woodchip screening, but I converted it to screen logs. I can't overload it, otherwise it just blocks up.
We do wash and grease it , there's a lot of grease points!
I have just placed an order for uniforest machine, the Japa has been great but it's time to move forward.
