    Fun video... Random observation.. at 1:30 you passed two beautiful elms on the right side of the highway. When you see lone elms like this it usually means an alert contractor spared them instead of bulldozing them like all the other trees. Healthy elms are becoming fewer and fewer. And some say, Dutch Elm Disease helped create the hydraulic splitter industry! lol

    A fellow I know has an ultra and he mostly splits smaller stuff - say six inch diameters or to maybe 12 inch or 13 inch. This fellow is not a real young man and he has some medical issues as well.
    Right now he is running a single wedge most of the time although he does have a four way which he is not as keen on.
    I am wondering if there is a box wedge made by Eastonmade that would fit this splitter?
    1. Would it bring the wood back, or would the operator have to do that?
    2. Would this box wedge move up and down by hydraulics?
    3. What would such a box wedge cost, if you do make such a device?
    Thanks for your help in this matter. Much appreciated.

    Hey Andrew 12-22 is working great. Is that bagger something you made? I'm looking for a bagging system that isn't 1500.00 and requires electric. I like the stretch wrap idea but at small scale that's alot of pay back. Although the wrap is less in the long run.

      No. These fellows made it themselves. I have seen them available online from different sources though

    shoot some of that wood is rotten I never take wood to split that is that bad unless it is for my fire pit not to sell and the tree services where I live give way better logs then that even if they are oak logs 32" + in diameter with 3 giant knots I would take that over rot any day

    • @EastonmadeWoodSplitters
      @EastonmadeWoodSplitters  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont think they typically would do that. We were doing it simply for demonstration purposes.

      @@EastonmadeWoodSplitters I would hope not but I do quality of quantity as I have major competition that does 200-300 cords a season but the quality is poor I stack and season my wood as if I were burning it my self as that is what people want around me plus I don't have the room for 200 cords in my back yard I can fit 20-25 at the most but people love to give away free wood here on Facebook and I can't stand to see it go to waste
