yep. Froze my clay too. Taking it to school for my students - slab rolled it and got it all ready.Left it in my van overnight...who knew it would freeze in Canada??... sheets of frozen clay...Tore in strips! Luckily my dad knows how to use the slab roller. He saved the day.
@@jhpotteryworks6023 Got it, many thanks. I have a shipment coming within the next week and it might get a little cold during shipping. I live in northern Illinois.

So can I just cut off a couple pounds at a time and wedge it as I use it like I normally do?
Yup, just make sure you wedge it well to redistribute the water back into the clay evenly

Does your pug mill also de air your clay? I wish I could rent one for a day, or 2!!
It is not a de-airing pugmill but Ive found good ways to keep the clay plastic and not have it become short
So did I!! I’m soo mad at myself!!
It happens! Just a little wedge and you should be good to go!
So how do the Pugs actually make the mill work? Like, are they on a wheel or something?
They use tiny treadmills and are paid by the kilometer they run
