I would still get the old model. Real off-roaders have solid axles. I would get the w463, lift it and put some nice maxxis trepador tyres on it, lock the diffs and climb the biggest hill I can find. (edit) I would also get a CDI, diesel is way better for off-roading.

Saw an amg g wagon yesterday and finally the styling has caught my eye. So I knew I was ready for a Doug video! Good summary’s the end and I’m happy to hear all those rich people out there are getting the FULL experience for there money now 🤣
They perform incredible in the snow. Got to borrow one for a trip in Tahoe this season and got completely snowed in. Hit the lockers and the weight of the truck alone just ripped through snow, mud, neighbors landscape. Never needed chains.

I don't think 1 year was enough for Mercedez to make all those changes based on Doug's review. My bet is they were already working on these issues for years by the time Doug reviewed it. I am not a car designer but I suppose new car models go through multiple iterative design stages starting with paper prototypes, scale models, non-functional full-size models and finally the working prototypes. I know in the age of Computer Aided Design, this process is much faster but still, takes time.

When their is screws you can easily change a light and that’s the same with all the other “after thought” objects. I think it’s nice. I also like the hinges on the doors. I think it’s look better with hinges. The door handles on the outside is my favorite kind of door handles because I like to push a button to open a door, it is so satisfying.

All the little teenies that think Doug had anything to do with any of those changes are all like "wowww Doug is God" not realizing Doug made his video about a year ago and at that time this car was already designed, in production, built, down at car shows, and small samples sent out for PR. But these kids think Mercedes actually went through and built all brand new turn signals, reflectors, closed the panel gaps, redesigned the entire interior for hand brakes and cup holders, back up camera, windshield wipers, and sh the other changes. And did everything over again after watching Doug's video all with in the past 12 months. LMAO. The 2019 G was probably already designed and factories but to assemble them as far back as 2017 if not 16. It takes a few years to get so this stuff together. Not 12 months after a doug video. But that's Doug Dick Riders for you.

I was literally thinking to myself, “Did Mercedes Benz” actually watch Doug’s video of his publicly published complaints & address each complaint, 1 by 1 ? If so, then I hold Doug Demuro personally responsible for *RUINING* my “lottery ticket winner vehicle” !!! Thanks a lot Doug. What an ass !! You complained about all of the quirky “chunky” add-on exterior features that made the G-Wagen a unique looking old timey “throw back”. It was the only SUV u could buy brand new w today’s modern safety features, but still have that nostalgic feel. U R A COMPLETE DOUCHEBAG, Doug Demuro. I hope *you* personally see this commentary from me like Mercedes Benz saw from you, & it ruins your future G-Wagen experience !!!!!

I've been in a 2002 and it didn't feel like how it was built how the doors were all 2019 and 2020 are looking good because that car that you was doing looks incredible that have met two thousand and so I want to watch more of your car videos I just want to your website I'm going to go watch a lots of them bye
