I can't debate your claim that the UI is acceptable, but as to your FPS excuse for the camera, I'm here to tell you that is absolute nonsense. Everything else in the frame moves fluidly. The camera doesn't pick and choose which objects to refresh.

Just update the damn Infotainment Software and Vehicle Telematics, by enabling OTA updates. All the issues get fixed within a few minutes post installing the latest software update from Land Rover. You can't blame them if you are running on outdated software

After this lease is up, I don't know who in their right mind would want to buy this thing. Leasing a Range Rover is the only way you should drive one. This thing will be so problematic in the future.
The RR shown in the video is like two months old if that. Clearly leasing won't prevent owners from experiencing screen meltdown. Sad, so sad, on a 2018 car.

It is rather laughably ridiculous the build quality of Jaguar/Land Rover products in 2018. I don't understand why they can't get it right. They have the big money backing from Tata to be able to produce cars at the same quality level as Porsche or Audi for example. Anyone know why?

I absolutely love my Velar. And the trunk lowering button saved me so many times especially when I was moving. If you can afford it I would definitely do it.

The perfect SUV look. Such a brilliant design. Somehow they managed to make a car look sporty, yet refined. So many car manufactures make sporty cars but fails on making them refined. This excels in both. Shame it's a lease and dump mobile though and I hate how all the buttons are put in the infotainment system and there aren't that many buttons. The cooled and heated seat function, it's cool, but unless it was shown to you trying to figure out how to turn on your seats would be really annoying. It's not intuitive enough where a person can get in and within seconds find out how to turn on their heaters and coolers.

Have you owned one? 3 years ago I too complained about the same thing. Then 2 years ago I bought one, and I think the reliability issues on the internet are blown way out of proportion. You just have to be wary of the used examples because the previous owner may have been an idiot and not taken care of the car properly.

I was able to get this vehicle as a rental through Alamo Car Rental in Orlando, FL. When I stood next to it, I was as tall as its roof line and I'm 5'10". This makes Doug incredibly tall and look at least 6'4".

Totally the sUv I'm looking for, I rode in a 2019 ford expedition stealth model and I thought that was impressive but this would take it to entirely new heights, I can't get over that interior and the lights.
Hard choice at first but think this is a better buy for me than the 2020 Porsche Cayenne, The Velar is just so well equipped with thoughtful style, tech and functionality.

The Velar and other Range's always have such a sleek, minimalist, modernity to their design language.
